Super fast service. I have been going to this shop for years regarding all my Smog needs. I would recommend this smog shop for anyone needing a smog for their vehicle. read more

Everyone was super nice and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Also it was about $20 cheaper than quotes I received from other smog locations. They can do tags right there for fellow procrastinators. Bonus points for playing Top Gear in the office. read more

Pulled in and was greeted with a smile. Had no appointment but was in and out within 15 minutes for a smog check on my old Toyota. Best price in town. The gentleman in charge and his assistant were professional, courteous, and friendly. I and another customer asked for recommendations for local mechanics and received several suggestions. Highly recommend this spot for your smog check needs. read more

Amazing service with no appointment required. The gentlemen running the shop was able to get me in and out within 10-15 minutes. Would absolutely recommend their services. West Valley Smog will be my go-to going forward. read more

West Valley Smog was quick and easy getting our car smog tested. I would use them again.

Got right in. No appointment needed. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices. Fast service.

I stopped by this West Valley Smog shop today after messaging them on Yelp to see how much they charge for a smog test. I was happy with the price because it's cheaper than the other places I reached out to and next to my work office. So I told them I would be coming in the next hour. I found parking just fine near the entrance, they did not look busy or had a car in their garage. When I walked inside, there was only 3 workers and no other guest. I checked in with them and then give my key to one of the employee. He went to move my car into the garage to do the test. The other worker took down my information. It was a very easy process and be aware that they only take visa or MasterCard. It didn't take long to do the smog test, it was like 10 minutes and my car past the test. The workers are very friendly and you'll feel appreciated here. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area because of the price and they also have a other shop like a mile down on the same street. read more

The guys there are great very quick and easy! Professional when it comes to answering questions! And pricing is reasonable! will be back! And recommend always read more

Chris and Amanda made my smog check so painless, I barely had time to scroll through my emails before my Mercedes was done in just 10 minutes! Wow. Not only did they serve up top-notch service with a smile, but Chris also casually dropped the fact that he's one of the few spots that can smog AND register your car on the spot. Talk about a one-stop shop! The price was totally fair, and honestly, if you're due for a smog check, do yourself a favor and roll up here. Simi Valley's best-kept secret! read more

Very fast service. It took all of 10 minutes to complete the smog and payment. Very clean and professional shop.

Calvin and Jerry were amazing! Such good customer service. Highly recommend going to these guys.

West Valley smog has been my go to place now for many years. The staff there is always quick and responsive and takes excellent care of our family cars as smog checks are required. Anyone reading this review would be well advised to use West Valley smog for their smog check needs. You will be very pleased as I am read more

Went in for a smog check on a used vehicle I purchased, they offered to also do the title transfer as well. Completed everything with 5-10 minutes of arriving! Highly recommend, and offered a good price point for everything. read more

I needed a smog check. Sounds E-Z, right? I drove to the Shell station on Sycamore Dr, but they couldn't take me for about an hour ("I have three ahead of you", I was told). I then called Valley Smog on First St. , but they told me it would tale about an hour to an hour and a half! So, I drove over to West Valley Smog on Sinaloa (which I've passed by several times) and they took me immediately! My smog check took less than 10 minutes (!!!) and cost me only $60! WOW!! Fast, friendly service. No hassle and practically no waiting!? YASS!! I'll never go anywhere else from now on! read more

I found service at west valley to be Excellent. The gentleman that helped me was friendly and efficient.

Pass smog check and good service. Didn't have appointment but I was in and out in about 20 minutes with 2 in front of me!

Great service, the whole process was fast easy, and I was even able to get my tags right there.

I always have a quick, efficient, and well priced experience when I need a smog. Hard to go anywhere else!

Mike and Chris were very helpful. Mike helped me with my walker and they both put the new tags on for me. They went above and beyond. Highly recommended their service. read more

West Valley Smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Simi Valley, California

Not only did the tester and his customer NOT wear masks in the tiny office, but as I waited there, I had to listen to these two titans of science pontificate over how masks don't work in the (not soundproof, boys!) testing area. I'll bring my business to a company that respects the customers' safety and doesn't insult them to boot. It's a shame because I was happy the last time I had to smog, and I was going to use both their testing and registration services. read more

Been coming here for years these guys make DMV work and smog too easy. Don't trust anyone els touching my 4Runner. read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Chris knows his stuff, and he's super efficient. - Great customer service (friendly and helpful) - Fast service (it was pretty busy and I wasn't there for more than 30) - Knowledgeable - Avoided the DMV (I had been told by the dmv I'd have to go in for several things - Chris took care of it it all for me!) - Avoided the DMV (this needs to be listed twice.) We will only be bringing our cars here moving forward, great service. It was a bit hard for me to find (although I'm terrible with directions) so for those who also need help with directions, just you go past the transmission place it's in the back. read more

Used West Valley Smog for years with great service. They did all my vehicles (5). This time, Chris, the new owner FAILED my truck which he passed a whooping 1000 miles ago (last smog test) NOTHING changed on the vehicle, exhaust test was clean, everything was in order. Failed for equipment that was on the truck since 1988. After working with the State smog ref. they even said he should have passed it. A day off work and a month later I have my tag. For owning the business, Chris was NO help at all and even mis-read the vehicle timing, another point of failure. Seems like West Valley Smog on Sinaloa's time has passed. Choose the other location on Tapo. Helpful and friendly location read more

Always quick and friendly service. We take all our cars to West Valley Smog and have used both locations.

Forget other places, COME HERE!!!! Super friendly staff and reasonable prices. Since it's a test only place they get people in and out real quick and there's no frills, just get what you came for and be outta there in minutes. Will be coming back from now on! read more

We are very thankful for the service here. We had taken our new motorhome to another place down the way. Oddly the system did not have our engine in it. So we brought it to West Valley, and the same thing happened. Rather than turning us away blindly, we were given a card to call and the gentleman here helped us out a lot and did his best to figure out the issue. It turns out California hadn't had all the smog locations get updated software, and only 2 places in Ventura County were updated to our 2021 rig. We didn't feel like driving far away, and sat on it for a few weeks. West Valley Smog went above and beyond in being proactive and calling us once their system was updated. They are fast, courteous and friendly. Highly recommend. read more

Great service. Very professional and friendly. So trustworthy. Thanks guys for making my experience so quick and easy!

Great company and services. Convenient, friendly, quick. Good value and would recommend to others.

Went this morning before work to get my smog, 20 minutes later I was done and out the door. I've been coming here for years and they just make it so convenient. The front desk is knowledgeable and the testers will come out and explain if it doesn't pass smog and why and if you ask, they try to recommend mechanics. I've used their mechanics and have yet to be disappointed. read more

My go to guys for smog checks and renewal tags.. very friendly and service was great .

Smog checks are already a drag, so the certified locations we take our vehicles to shouldn't have to be a drag as well.. and that's why West Valley Smog is the best affordable location around! The prices are great, facility is clean, and the owner is quick and respectful. When I brought my car in, I was in and out within minutes! The owner even helped address, diagnose, and suggest where I could get the parts to fix it all for cheap. The owner far exceeded his obligation to just smog my vehicle and created a long lasting impression that'll keep bringing me back here! read more

This place is excellent! We had our Honda Civic smog checked this morning, and they also process DMV registration renewal fees too! So we paid for both our vehicle registration fee and smog fee all at once. Very convenient. The service reps are very friendly and helpful.
