Gave me wrong info. Unacceptable. Is not service. No one was rude, but told me only 1 car could get a disability plate. I told the man I read online that each registered car I had could get the plates, he said no! I only wen to this place to avoid the long lines at the DMV. So I ended up going to the DMV anyways, I asked for the disability plates. They handed them to me Right away. For 2 cars. So the man at AAA was dead wrong! AAA Has Been a Complete Disaster - Avoid If You Value Your Home If I could give zero stars, I would. AAA's handling of our home insurance claim has been absolutely appalling. Since filing in March, we have been met with delays, neglect, unqualified vendors, and outright lies. We waited weeks for temporary housing, which I ultimately had to secure myself. The mitigation company AAA sent reflooded our home and then walked off the job without completing the work or taking responsibility. The general contractor AAA assigned submitted a bid so severely under budget that it left out major areas of repair. When we followed AAA's direction to get bids from licensed contractors, we submitted multiple -- all matching in scope and cost -- yet AAA refused to negotiate and continued to refer to their lowball, incomplete vendor estimate. We've been out of our home since April, with six children, including a child with serious health issues who was exposed to mold due to AAA's delays and poor contractor oversight. AAA did not take urgent action until I demanded it. No one from AAA even visited our home until July, after demo was already done -- four months after the claim started. Every vendor AAA has sent has been inadequate, unprofessional, and in some cases paid for work they didn't finish. We are now forced to pay out-of-pocket to restore our home because AAA refuses to provide fair market value or labor costs. Even after we submitted professional estimates with detailed scopes of work, we were backed into a corner -- use their unqualified people or pay for it ourselves. This has been the worst service I've ever experienced from any company, ever. We have no trust in AAA, and we are warning everyone we know: if you have AAA, pray you never have to file a claim. read more

If it were possible to give this business a -5 star rating I would. 37 years with AAA and they have managed to disappoint us twice in the past month. I even tried reaching out via Twitter without a reply or response. It is obvious that they are more Focused on selling insurance than helping their paying club members. My daughter was stranded in Northridge for over 3 hours with a flat tire before they explained that the system was down. I ended up calling and paying a local towing company to come get her myself. This happened again 4 weeks later only their system wasn't down. Just busy. At 4pm, they gave her a 4:30 response time and when it was 4:30, the time jumped to 6:40pm Nobody answered the phone at AAA or responds to our request for help. I've been with AAA for over 15 years. I recently dropped one of my insured vehicles because I got rid of the vehicle. AAA charged me $41 as a premium adjustment. I phoned and spoke to one of their agents who told me that I had my premium adjusted up because I dropped the one vehicle and lost my multiple vehicle discount. I still insure four other vehicles with them, and I lost my multiple vehicle discount? Then, the agent began to try selling me additional insurance. I will look elsewhere when it comes time to renew. I already fired AAA homeowners policy when they spied into my backyard and threatened to cancel my policy because I had a trampoline. I renewed with another company. read more

Last night, my 19 year old daughter had a tire blow out at around midnight on her way home. She called for a tow truck to help. She placed calls 5 times, I called in 3 times because she wasn't getting anyone to come. Almost 5 HOURS later, a tow truck came. So from midnight to 4:45 am, she was stuck on the side of the road with no help. Fortunately, her wonderful boyfriend stayed with her, but if she had been out of town and we couldn't get to her to help, she could have been in more danger. As it was, she was stuck in her car on a very cold night with no response from AAA for way too long. I was extremely disappointed with the service we have paid for for many years. I was also disappointed because TWO Simi Valley police cars passed them by and didn't stop to ask if they needed help. When my Farmers homeowners insurance policy came up for renewal, I shopped around for a better rate and thought I found it with AAA in Santa Clarita. I provided all the accurate information, and they even performed a video inspection of my home. I paid the $3,134 annual premium in full. Farmers wanted $3,250 for the same policy. Then, already a month into the effective date of my policy, my AAA representative calls to notify me that they need to do another video inspection. Following the second inspection, I received notice that my annual premium has increased from the $3,378 I paid in full, to $4,947 - an increase of $1,569. To make matters worse, this increased amount is retroactive to the day after the video conference, and 3 days before I was notified. When I switched from Farmers to AAA in the first place, it was just to save $116, only to discover that someone at AAA is of the opinion, based on the video, that my house is worth more than what AAA originally quoted, and to what I agreed to, despite the square footage and everything else being the identical property characteristics I had provided, all of which were accurate. To make matters worse, Farmers will not offer to renew the policy I cancelled so I'm now responsible for paying and huge amount of money I never agreed to. In the attached letter, you can see that AAA blames this on my AAA insurance representative. My AAA insurance representative blames this on AAA. Regardless of who's at fault, I'm the one that suffers the penalty. I'm checking with the Better Business Bureau to see if it was even legal for AAA to force an increased premium mid-policy that I never agreed to, and to make it retroactive to a date prior to being notified. If you're considering homeowners insurance through AAA, please beware that this can happen. I'd hate for others to experience what I did. It's all about AAA, not about the Customer. I got hit by a uninsured motorist and I have uninsured motorist coverage on my 20-year-old Honda car that's well maintained and well kept and their estimator nickel and dime me too death while telling me that's not covered, that's not going to match and they're not going to pay for that. Triple negative right off the bat so I went to two other reputable body shops who gave me an estimate for twice as much as there's but of course by the time they're adjuster got a hold of my auto body shop somehow the estimate got slashed in half. On Saturday, August 19, 2023 while leaving LAX and entering the tunnel I got a "blow out", and within approximately 15 minutes AAA came to my family and my rescue. The AAA representative was professional and polite. However, I believe he needs to be "pulled off servicing the public" and get the training he has proven he needs. While getting my tire changed, I briefly spoke to your co-worker but I was more focus on speaking to our two daughters in the car (one who is a minor and the other one who is special needs). Before signing off the documents, your coworker stated he "threaded out" TWO of 5 of my "tire nuts" which was purchase less than one year ago at American Tires Fontana, Sierra Lakes Store. At no point in the conversation, your employee stated driving at 65 miles per hour at a distance of 68 miles (from Los Angeles to Fontana) was dangerous based on the tire was only secure by 3 Tire Nuts. At about 5:29pm, one minute before closing I went to American Tires Sierra Lakes, Fontana. I was told I should have NEVER drove my car the distance and at freeway speed because it was dangerous. Based on this level of negligence, I am asking for this person to be terminated because he placed my children, me and the other drivers/passengers on freeway in danger. More importantly, I am asking for this 3rd party servicing company contract to be immediately suspended based on the level of danger my children and I were subjected to under AAA care. After the tire "area" was inspected, it was NOT a tire nut problem. Your coworker BROKE 2 of five of the "tire's bolts off". Sunday was Sunday, so I did not take the car to repair. Monday was Hurricane Hillary Day, and today I am planning on getting this problem taken care of. This incident will delay medical treatment appointments and other important appointments by 2 hours or more. I would like to be immediately reimbursed for this service cost, and be compensated in some way. As you know from my membership status, I have been with AAA over 29 years as a membership. Until this time, the third party AAA have hired has not contacted me. If my car is not repaired immediately, I would like a rental car. However, I never paid membership, hired the 3rd party. My philosophy is very simple, I paid AAA membership. I made a direct call to AAA hotline for services, and a service van labeled AAA came to do service on my car. I will be making the public know about this incident via Yelp and Google because AAA is a multimillion dollar cooperation and better is expected. More importantly, if the neglect of the employees caused harm or injuries to others maybe this post could serve as aide. read more

They had every excuse to not pay Full replacement cost . it cost us $20,000 out of pocket to fix the damage. AAA is no longer a premier company. they are crooks. Stay away from them. Zero "stars"!!! Absolute lack of decency and effort to help. I went in to get the registration tags after paying for car registration for my mother's car and getting the smog check. My mother is in San Jose and has been wheelchair bound since 1987. It is very difficult to bring her places, not to mention Thousand Oaks. They refused to give me the tags because I am not the owner of the vehicle. I explained many times my mother's condition. The "supervisor" did not care and only offered up the solution to bring my mother in so she can see her in person. I explained again, the situation my mother is living with. I immediately went to the DMV office, waited in line, explained the situation to the woman at the desk and her supervisor. She asked if it would be possible to speak to my mother over the phone and possibly look into her license and car registration in the past. The supervisor spoke to my mother, accepted the situation, apologized for the "worker" at AAA and gave me the registration tags without an issue. DO NOT go here for registration. They were NO HELP at all and could not think deep enough to offer an appropriate solution. To the supervisor at AAA; I'm happy you got to flex your muscles today and say "no". You should look for a different job before you go and insult and mess up other people whom you try to "help". You're a joke. read more

Worst customer service I've had in a longgg time. Came in for a simple renewal on my motorcycle. Not only did they have a faulty record of my membership, they told me I was too early on my renewal payment. I had the dmv paperwork with the barcode ready to pay cash. They said no it's too early to pay. My membership card clearly had an expiration date on 10/22. Unbelievable Bureaucratic nonsense. In any event, I went home logged onto the DMV website, and I was able to solidify my renewal in 2 min. Do yourself a favor and just log onto the DMV website for faster service.
