We had Skyline install eight Okna 500 series double paned windows on our sun room. They were punctual for the estimate, measuring, and installation. Plus, they correspond electronically which I love - sorry, I just don't like to talk to people :) We signed the contract in October with a 14-16 week installation schedule due to COVID. They contacted us within that time frame and we were scheduled for install within a week or so of the promised schedule. They were no pressure when giving the estimate. Almost so laid back that I initially thought they didn't need the business since it was a relatively small job! However, it is just their approach which was good. The installers showed up EXACTLY on time. Very polite, clean cut group of men who worked quickly and efficiently. Installed in 3.5 hours! They left the house cleaner than when they came. After doing a ton of research and interviewing 3 companies, I chose Skyline to do the windows for 2 of my rental houses. I actually talked to 10 people in my area who used Skyline. All were happy. Skyline gave me a list of many people who had their windows and agreed to be references! They stood out because their interview was low key, low pressure and full of useful information. We haven't even gotten the windows replaced yet (will update) but I had to take a minute to give these guys a great review. We met with a few companies but it was clear that Skyline wasn't going to be pushy, and that they were the best company to work with. They came out, taught us what we needed to know, invited us to come by their showroom, and left it at that. They didn't push us toward the most expensive windows or options, even when they easily could have. We contracted with them and when they came to measure, the owner, Randy, took a look at a leak we were having due to one of our VERY old windows. Since we're not scheduled to have our new ones in for a few weeks, he went out to his car to get his toolbox and spent some of his afternoon just taking care of our issue for us. We used Skyline to replace all 19 of our original 1980s windows with big gaps, rotted wood, and no insulation to speak of. I did a ton of research, got several quotes, and Skyline just trounced everyone else in terms of the quality of product they use (we got Okna windows), the service they offer (no subcontractors!), and the price. From the initial consult to the measuring visit to the install, Skyline's people always arrived on time. They were very concerned with cleanliness (removed shoes, etc). They also made sure to ask if any pets were safely secured when it came time to install the windows. At the end of BOTH days of installation, they left my yards spotless and debris-free. Even while they worked, they had a nicely ordered system for what type of debris went where (neatly stacked the old windows, old trim went in one pile, old wood went in another pile, etc). My neighbors were really thrilled that they weren't looking at some chaotic construction zone for two days even though this was some major work on our house. I would recommend Skyline to absolutely anyone looking to replace windows in Richmond, and I'm going to be calling them about a front door soon. read more

We had six windows replaced last year and chose Skyline on the recommendation of several people in our neighborhood. The sales pitch was mercifully brief and non-pushy. We went with six, the minimum order. The installers were fun to watch... very efficient and organized and professional. Quick too. The job was completed in one day. I had a small problem with one of the windows (cosmetic manufacturing defect) which was dealt with quickly and cheerfully. We have had a great experience with Skyline Windows. They replaced all our windows and our back porch door. The original meeting was very informative and very helpful. Our windows came in in a timely manner. We made an appointment and when the day came they were on time, polite and professional. The men removed their shoes on the way into the house since it was a rainy day. There was plenty of crew and the entire house was buzzing with everyone taking care of their business. Our cat was in the house, since there wasn't any place for him to go and they kept an eye out for him. That was above and beyond but it shows how nice they all were.
