The initial consultation and final measurement with Eric, was very professional and Eric went over everything that had to be done. Eric is not a salesman, he has been in this profession for years, and is the owner. It was refreshing to have someone who actually knows what the job entails and not just a salesman was refreshing. The price of the materials and installation was very competitive. The doors and windows came in earlier than expected and installation was scheduled. Chris, Mike, Aaron, Dave and Walt were here for about 5 1/2 hours. They all were experienced, professional and completed a some what difficult project. My house was built in the late 50's so everything is not standard-sizing, etc., they did have to work through several issues. Everything passed inspection. There are some scratches, marks in the glass of the kitchen window and glass panel on the back door. Oscar came and noted everything and the glass panels are in the works to be replaced. This is nothing that the company damaged, just defaults in the glass. The consultation to final measurement to installation to setting up the inspection were all stress free. I could not say one bad thing about this company. I would highly recommend this company to friends, family and neighbors.

My 4 panel sliding glass doors had a challenging impingement issue from the sagging concrete flooring above my lanai. They had addressed the same issue in another building in my complex; that customer of theirs is where I received the recommend. My job was a difficult and challenging, but they did a FANTASTIC job, and they did a lot of work to bring it back in full functionality, in a way that would LAST. Double aluminum headers were placed, structural aluminum throughout. The windows refurbished with new glass. Then stuccoing, cleanup, and more. The crew was wonderful, worked hard, and I was very happy with their work. (This means something, because I am very picky about what is good work and not so good). I would highly recommend them to others, especially if you have an impingement problem. I am sure the work THEY do, is far above their most of their competitors. They did what they said they would do, did a great job, AND where VERY considerate of keeping costs down. Well, something did go wrong. Something broke the outer pane of a window on the front of our house. I contacted Window World, provided the documentation and pictures, then waited about 3 weeks. Guess what happened then (today in fact)? Ryan with Window World showed up with a brand new window pane and replaced the broken window. Done. THAT is how you treat your customers if you want to get referrals and good references. I was interested in the Dam Easy Flood Barrier, but was talked into the Garrison aluminum flood plank system instead, with a clear promise that the mounts and brackets would be fully removable. Getting to the actual install took months. They had to redo measurements before I even received a quote, which then came to the wrong email and arrived a second time without any attachments. After signing, they came out again for another round of measurements, didn't have the right parts, and rescheduled the installation the morning it was scheduled. When the installation was completed, the anchors were protruding from the wall and loosely secured. When I went to test mount the brackets a few weeks later, several anchors spun in place and couldn't be tightened, and one had a seized nut from residual concrete dust that couldn't be removed at all. I reached out to the manufacturer, who confirmed the anchors were not recommended for removeable applications. They made a few attempts to fix it between September and October 2025. The first visit left broken chunks in my walls, requiring them to return just to patch the damage they caused. On the final visit the crew drilled two holes, said they needed a different drill bit, and never came back. When I inspected the new anchors, they weren't drilled deep enough and didn't align with the brackets, clearly a craftsmanship issue. I received a text stating they would not return because they were alleging I used an impact drill on the system and that is why it did not work properly. I had never used any power tools on the installation. To date, I do not have a working system, am left with undrilled and unusable mounts, and have been quoted nearly the full cost of the initial work to repair their damage to the original state. Their response to an attorney's demand letter was to demand the final payment with interest, without making the install correct.

STAY AWAY FROM JMI AT ALL COSTS…read more One could not ask for a more horrific service experience. Ordered new French doors for the home repairs after Hurricane Helene. First Install Attempt: Installers broke both doors on install and had to order new ones. Resulting in broken doors installed with gaps and holes around - causing our A/C bill to skyrocket in the summer months. Second Install Attempt: New ordered doors were wrong size so they said they would need the doors re-made again. Temporary doors re-installed with gaps around. Third Install Attempt: Doors were not re-made they were simply cut to fit the space so now the lock holes do not line up. Installers left without verifying the door even closes or locks and had to come back to put an old temp door back on so the house locks. Fourth Install Attempt: Doors finally arrived and were installed appropriately 8 months after first appointment and 7 months after measuring appointment. JMI had the audacity to demand we pay full price after months of delays, taking days off work to be home for installations that failed, all the energy costs of having holes and gaps around the doors, and needing to delay the rest of our home improvement projects post-hurricane. Jane on the phone even LAUGHED when we asked for a meager discount of 25% and countered with a 5% discount stating "well, we had to pay installers to come out 4 times" - CORRECT. This is not customer service. This is a SCAM. A Ripoff. An ideal case of careless business practices, fundamentally flawed operations, and kicking a family while they're down after spending thousands to put a house back together after a hurricane. Save yourselves the anger, frustration, and money...find anyone else but JMI.

The county inspector said they love when they get jobs from Karoly, because they do a fantastic job there normally are no issues with the quality of their work.
