Poor quality, was good quality and expensive. Now poor quality and expensive. We did it as takeaway, maybe dine in is better.

Fantastic for gluten free Chinese! Great staff and a great environment. Can be a bit expensive.

The waitress said we had picked the best day to go because the seafood was at its freshest and it was the least busy. Only problem is I can't remember which day it was. *Upper North Shore

However when we arrived staff were flustered and took a while to seat customers despite booking a week in advance. Some staff are friendly and others are quite unfriendly. Service is rushed. Dishes come out slowly. First snake beans, then tofu then pork ribs and crispy chicken. Rice and noodles came out last. Best to eat food as it arrives otherwise your first dishes will go cold. Snake beans were delicious with wonderful aroma and flavour. Salt and Pepper Crispy Bean Curd was a favourite -best eaten fresh and hot. Pork ribs had a tasty saucr but pieces were slightly large. Fried pineapple rice was average but interesting flavour combination. Short soup was delicious with 6 wontons per serve. Crispy chicken was succulent and well prepared. Shreaded duck meat noodles were also very tasty with a good balance of ingredients. Overall servings were very generous. We could have fed 6 adults with our order. I recommend booking as it was quite busy on a Wednesday night. I found the air conditioning really cold but other people were fine. It is fairly expensive with each dish being $20 - $30.

Thankfully I'd just gotten my vowels mixed up and Denny's had NOT arrived on our shores, but instead we were headed to a Chinese restaurant nearby. Donny's is an unexpected restaurant located in the loft of The Landmark Hotel, serving an interesting combo of Cantonese shared dishes, bistro faves and Hong Kong style street food. If you can't decide between steak with chips, stir fries and tofu hotpots, or curry fishballs this isn't the place to go, because you'll never decide. The food comes out super fast - I think we got all of our 11 dishes in about as many minutes even with 2 other big tables and a few smaller parties in the place. Everything was fresh and piping hot, just enough flavour to satisfy but not so much that those delicate Cantonese palates would be overwhelmed. Though the dishes were good, nothing was amazing - a restaurant my Hong Long raised parents would be satisfied with enough to not complain about in the car ride home but maybe wouldn't rave to their friends about. Then again, I didn't get to try the curry fish balls. Or the steak and chips.

The portion is a smaller than the one shown on the menu and the food is a bit pricey. The quality however is above average. Ordered Gel Gel Mixed Mushroom, Oxtail Stone Pot. Stirfry Pork with XO Sauce. Love the Mushroom which is full of flavour yet still taste fresh. XO Pork comes second, the snake bean compliments the pork well. Oxtail dish is good but not as I have expected.
