I have West Pro Installations installed 600 pounds built-in side by side, KitchenAid Refrigerator KBSD602ESS. These people are extremely professional and know their installation procedure very well. I am very happy with their work. They did an excellent job of installation and haul away of my old KitchenAid refrigerator. I have explored around for to haul away of the old fridge and installation of the new fridge, but couldn't find anyone in the East Bay. West Pro Installation, owner gave me an estimate and successfully completed the work within the estimate. In fact, they didn't charge for the Water Pipe Line. They have gone above and beyond in making sure that the complete installation is done as per client's satisfaction. The West Pro Installation folks have also negotiated a delivery date based on my convenience and pulled in delivery date by a few days. Throughout the installation, they were extremely careful that wooden floor is not scratched. I am very well satisfied with their overall work to the extent, I will have them installed my next appliance. I highly recommend West Pro Installations. read more

Beware of this person. Jason West was selling a refurbished cook top that we placed a deposit on. It was advertised to be in excellent condition, clean, and few minor scratches. The Zelle payment was made to Jason West, West Pro Installations, LLC Upon seeing the unit, it was heavily scratched, with grime and had never been cleaned. The person Jason, his "business partner" sent agreed and we asked for the deposit back. The "business partner" stated that only Jason could give us a refund. He refused to give the deposit back, quickly took the unit off of Facebook Marketplace and blocked my husband when my husband tried to reach Jason to discuss this! Buyer beware! Lastly, Jason does not have a Contractor's License which is required for the installation of major appliances. read more

Beware of Jason West and West Pro Installations. He represented a Wolf 36" gas range on marketplace that was "fully refurbished" and in "excellent" condition. His photos showed what appeared to be a range that looked in like new condition. He requested a $300 deposit via Zelle to hold it for me. I gave him the deposit. My wife and I then took the day off to drive 2 hours to meet him and purchase the range. Jason was unable to attend and instead sent his "business partner." When his partner pulled up to the In N Out meeting spot, he proceeded to remove the range from the cab of his truck. The range was laying on its side on top of a pile of tools and parts, completely unprotected. Not the way you treat a range that you are asking $2,800 for. He proceeded to remove it and place it on the lawn for inspection. It was obvious that this was a completely misrepresented item. It had not been refurbished, was completely scratched and marred and was filthy with years worth of grease in the crevices and openings. Immediately upon viewing it, I let his partner know that it does not match the listing and I would not be able to proceed with the purchase and requested my deposit back. He refused and Jason immediately blocked me from contacting him or filing a complaint via marketplace. I am not his first victim. He is also operating under a defunct LLC in California. We have since contacted him and he refuses to refund our deposit that was never classified as being non-refundable. I will be pursuing legal action through the SOC and small claims court. He is also contracting without a contractors license. I recommend you avoid him at all costs. read more

We want to share our experience with Jason West so others can be cautious when purchasing from him. We put a deposit down on a refurbished cooktop that was advertised as being in excellent condition, clean, and with only a few minor scratches. When we actually went to look at it, the condition was completely different than what had been advertised. The cooktop was heavily scratched, covered in grime, and clearly had not been properly cleaned. We spoke with Jason's "business partner," who acknowledged the condition of the unit. Notice that the range I received is completely different...missing drip tray and cover the graphics are worn off and the oven door isn't set properly. I wanted you to know that the installers were unbelievably efficient yesterday installing an oven/microwave combo and a cooktop. This was a huge, intricate job because of the downdraft position and it was touch-and-go for awhile with the cooktop. They also had to cut the marble to make the cooktop fit. I'm usually skeptical when it comes to purchasing high value items found on Craigslist or without some sort of contract, but West Pro made this a reassuring process from start to finish. We purchased a refurbished refrigerator from Jason in Septemeber. As I was picking the unit up, it was discovered there was an issue with the freezer drawer railing. After determining it wasnt fixable with the parts on hand, I took the refrigerator home in good faith that Jason would follow-up to repair the issue. He was quick to get replacement parts ordered and communicated with me weekly as we waited for the parts. When the parts were on-hand, we scheduled a date to get them installed which was hassle free. Twice the price as quoted and sloppy granite cutting for the cooktop installation. True, our cooktop was an eighth-inch too wide for the opening, making the adjustment a requirement. But they charged an additional $450 to cut back the granite, which took about 45 minutes extra time. $10 a minute? Not a bad gig. Dishwasher hose was installed with a propensity to kink, which it did a month later. The dishwasher stopped functioning. After my wife googled the error code I managed to find the kink and straighten it out. I called to gripe and was politely received with gracious apologies, which makes me know that they DO care about reputation. I was guarantee a service window between 3-7pm; in the minutes before that promised window closed at 7pm on a school/work night I was informed that the install was delayed at least another hour. He and his staff were early and were very professional and efficient. They did an excellent job explaining what they were going to do. They did a lot of prep work in terms of laying extra towels on the hard wood floors to make sure nothing got scratched and walked around the house to make sure the new unit as well as the old had enough space to get in/out of. The installation was right on the time line that he said it would be. Perfectly done and he even helped me do a little extra work on my old dishwashing unit. He helped me tighten it up. We had a late evening appointment to get our built-in Oven and over the range Vent hood to be installed which we purchased from Freidman Appliance. I thought this would be an easy install and they would be in and out within the hour. I was wrong, modifications had to be made to our cabinet to get the oven to fit and the existing microwave had to be moved higher. We also found out that our original vent was not hooked up correctly which they fixed. I felt bad that they didn't leave till midnight but the 2 installers that came were extremely nice and knowledgeable and did an incredible job. I cannot recommend West Pro more! We recently needed to have a dishwasher replaced and were hoping to have the one we had in storage installed. Brian can out and spent about 40 min going over the old machine throughly explaining to us what could go wrong if we put this old dishwasher in. Never charged us for his time or his opinion. We ended up having to get a new one and we called West Pro to install it. Brian came back out and put the new one in. We are so happy we have found a reliable company for appliance install. They are VERY focused on customer service from my first interactions on Yelp until Brian was on his way at the end.
