I figured it would just get sucked through the vent if I started it but it actually sounded like a bomb went off when I attempted to begin a cycle, and I knew I royally f'd up. I reached out to Mike and he was prompt to respond and was actually available to come out same day (just so happened fairly quickly), and provided his time frame. Upon arrival he was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease - being alone in your house with an unknown person can be a little nerve racking for a gal, but Mike was great! He worked quickly and efficiently to asses the situation after I told him what happned ( I was hoping I didn't have to get a new dryer), and was very neat/tidy while disassembling the appliance, and thankfully he found the screw fast. He also helped me do a little TLC on the dryer's insides while it was open, in addition to advising me as to how to best maintain my Golden Girl of a Maytag. My electric range was tripping the breaker. I figured it must have been a short in the electric range. The guy came out and said there's a problem with my breaker. Paid this guy $75 and paid electrician $150 to tell me it wasn't my breaker. In fact, you can hear something click inside the range when it gets power and its infact the range. Lazy people did not want to troubleshoot properly. Bought a new range and everything works now!! Go back to school!

True to his word, Gus turned up a little after 8.30am and got right to work. I had already had a repairman out from another company and they didn't know what to do. Eduardo was professional and knew what was wrong with my fridge. He told me ice has built up in the pipe and to allow my fridge to defrost for 72 hrs and then plus it back in and I would be good to go. He did try to defrost it manually but to be on the safe side we did the 72 hours. Worked like a charm and has been going strong for the last two months with zero issues. Atom Appliance Service & Parts has been around for a long time and I've been using them for 20+ years. They've fixed my refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers and stoves. I just recently had them out to fix my stove's warming drawer when a baking tray got stuck inside on an inward-facing lip (which we discovered after finally getting it open). We were all scratching our heads on how to get it out--no screws on the outside, this was a completely sealed unit. We had just about given up when the repairman said to let him try once again and he was finally able to get it open. It seemed like such a trivial thing, but we use our warming drawer often and store muffin tins in there. We now know not to to place anything tippy on top of the muffin tins. Who knew? So, I've always found them to be prompt, courteous, at a fair price, and helpful.
