I figured it would just get sucked through the vent if I started it but it actually sounded like a bomb went off when I attempted to begin a cycle, and I knew I royally f'd up. I reached out to Mike and he was prompt to respond and was actually available to come out same day (just so happened fairly quickly), and provided his time frame. Upon arrival he was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease - being alone in your house with an unknown person can be a little nerve racking for a gal, but Mike was great! He worked quickly and efficiently to asses the situation after I told him what happned ( I was hoping I didn't have to get a new dryer), and was very neat/tidy while disassembling the appliance, and thankfully he found the screw fast. He also helped me do a little TLC on the dryer's insides while it was open, in addition to advising me as to how to best maintain my Golden Girl of a Maytag. He quote me a fair price which I happily handed over rather than having to explain to my other half as to why we may need a new dryer while we have a mini reno going on :/ I would definitely recommend, and am keeping his info for any furture needs!

He didn't have the part on hand, so I paid for the part and the service call. He estimated 7-10 business days, but they got it in just 3, so my oven was back up and running in less than a week. After he installed the igniter, we ran a test on all the functions and discovered the convection wasn't working. He pulled the stove out, ran a diagnostic, and showed me that the control board was burnt out and not getting power. Replacing it would run $600, so I chose to hold off since the oven itself works fine and I rarely use the convection feature but I'll definitely be calling them back when I'm ready, because a new range runs about $4K and that's not a conversation I want to have right now. Total cost for the igniter repair was $300. The tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and got the job done without any drama. I had already had a repairman out from another company and they didn't know what to do. Eduardo was professional and knew what was wrong with my fridge. He told me ice has built up in the pipe and to allow my fridge to defrost for 72 hrs and then plus it back in and I would be good to go. He did try to defrost it manually but to be on the safe side we did the 72 hours. Worked like a charm and has been going strong for the last two months with zero issues. The date was set for Wednesday, May 15, 2024 and GVC gave a window of nine hours to be home 8 AM to 5 PM. They never came nor did the company call or email or return any calls that day when I was calling to find out how much longer they arrived at 5:10 PM walked up to the door, took a picture of himself at the house and doesn't wait or want to talk to the camera(ring) away. The tech doesn't call to say he arrived or leave a note and never got an email to reschedule.
