Dr Holt is efficient, thorough and well educated making it worth the trip to West Point for an annual eye exam. His staff is sweet and friendly and happy to give any input when browsing frames. I'd highly recommend to anyone in search of an eye doctor! read more

*Buyer beware! Went in for an eye glasses exam and while filling out the paperwork I must have checked that I was interested in a contact lens exam. Because I checked I was "interested" in a contact lens exam they went ahead and did the exam without my consent. When originally I was in for only an eye glass exam and then charged for a service I did not ask for. Tried disputing that charge with a staff member with no success. The wife of the Doctor called me after a few days to dispute and refund the charge. read more

I tried West Point Eye Center because they were SO close to my house. I love my previous eye care center it is just out in Salt Lake City. I should've made the drive. I have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was 13. I have never had a doctor struggle to find out what my prescription is. Not the case here after 3 visits Dr. Holt still couldn't figure out my prescription. He did give me one each time but I couldn't see and I was getting headaches. On the third visit he wasn't nice and I felt very uncomfortable. I just said okay these will work. I am currently only using the left eye contacts. They seem to work okay for both eyes. The other box is a complete waste of money! I will never go back here. Luckily I have been able to warn family members who were planning on trying West Point Eye Center out. Hopefully this helps others. read more

Not impressed! They were only looking to tag my insurance and sell me some glasses. I listened to them and less then an hour later wised up and asked to cancel my order and they said they couldn't as the lenses were already being cut. They don't cut them there they send them out mind you! Wound NOT recommend!!! Called and requested to speak with the Dr. to resolve my issue and never for a call back, avoid them! read more

I will start off by stating that the staff members were friendly. Unfortunately, that is where the positive aspects end. The overall experience and the end product were disappointing to say the least. Because even though the staff was friendly they were not at all helpful. After spending more than ever before, I was told I needed new glasses. It took over a month after my appointment to receive my glasses. I was informed by the point of contact that this was entirely the fault of my insurance. After a few calls I discovered the order was not submitted for nearly two weeks after the date of service, which means the insurance was not to blame. I should also point out that that glasses did not work or meet expectations. What do I mean by glasses that do not work? First of all, I cannot read with them, drive with them, use the computer with them, or watch TV with them. The only thing they seem to be good at are creating massively painful migraines. I guess I could also sit in a chair and sleep with them on. But other than that I seem to have little use for them. Even though some may think this is simple a problem only for me, it is worth noting that my wife is also experiencing similar issues with her glasses. Finally, after dealing with these issues I have been given the unique opportunity to pay even more money. However, when I try to question the bill I was told that at that time there was no individual present that could provide information. I am forced to wonder if I can expect further incidents where they decide that I should make additional payments. This could set a precedence of unforeseen bills being sent on a whim. Summary of issues 1. Glasses took incredibly long time to arrive. 2. Blame for the delay was place solely on insurance/lab even though the order was not sent in a timely fashion. 3. The visit was expensive and additional bills are being sent with no explanation. 4. Glasses are not functioning properly. There are only two reasons I have not marked down this review further by giving it one star. One is that the staff members were always friendly. Secondly I am hoping that this was series of unfortunate events. At least I got two 5 ounce bottles of cleaning solution, which will only end up costing me nearly 500.00 dollars. At this price I am hopeful that the cleaning solution is of a divine nature. If you go here cross your fingers you don't have to endure the same ordeal that I did. P.S. Even after another eye doctor provided me and my wife a different prescription that works, Dr Holt did not budge. I was told that I would have to shell out more money if I wanted them to give me the correct glasses. The only thing you will see with this doctor is your money flying away. If I could give 0 stars I would. Over charged, really bad communication, ridiculous customer service, they completely blew me off and would not respond to calls or emails. Then did not honor a promotion they advertised as valid to SEPT 28th 2019. This has been a year of giving the benefit of doubt. First appointment was new patient exam almost a year ago paid everything in cash. They gave me sample contacts to try, Dr. said if I did not like them I could return to try a different type at NO Charge. I did the follow-up appointment because the sample ones were not working for me (making me dizzy), I double checked that there would be NO charge, front desk and doctor confirmed. Exactly 10 months later I get a bill from their billing company that looks like fraud. When I contact them to inquire about it and ask why I'm being charged the receptionist stated "She could not help me, She did not have access to the info. The bill is not a fraud that it is there billing company and I need to contact them". So I did but the billing company stated they couldn't help me so I needed to contact the patient relations. I left a message with Patient Relations, still no return call. After a week of no return call, I called the billing company again and they contacted patient relations for me. She sent me another bill in the mail stating the same amount is due. DID NOT EVEN CONTACT ME. Finally went in to talk to the patients relations and of course she wasn't there. I asked to speak with the doctor and I was never contacted. The office manager couldn't assist me cuz she doesn't deal or handle the billing or any part of the patient relations portion. I was getting the RUN AROUND!! When I contacted the office through the website to confirm my contact prescription they never got back with me. I called them and they refused to tell me what my prescription is so I can order them online. Then they stated that I need to come in again because it's only a temporary prescription. You got to be kidding! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE! On top of all of this I had a son scheduled for kindergarten screening at the discount they are advertising in the office and online (see Screen shot). I verified 3 times to insure I would be getting the discounted price. I showed up to the appointment today on time and the door was locked. Appointment confirmation states to arrive early to complete paperwork. Scheduled at 9 am, doors open at 9 am. DONT Tell me to show up early if you are not going to have the door open then. We start discussing the appointment and the receptionist informs me they are NO LONGER OFFERING THE PROMOTION! NOT OKAY. I asked if they would honor the promotion, since I scheduled while it was being offered. SHE REFUSED stating that she was informed last night. OKAY then contact me before the appointment. I checked the website when I got home and found that the discount goes to Sept 28th. This is not okay, hook and bate. SAVE YOURSELF and never go here. read more

On the advice of a friend I tried them out. Simply the most professional office I've ever been to. (And I've been wearing glasses and contacts for a really long time.) Dr Holt was great, and told me about a few things in my eyes apparently other Drs missed. Staff was fantastic. And glasses are the best I've ever had. Thank you Dr Holt and staff.
