I was visiting Beaver Creek and I fortunately found Lyssa at West One Salon after reading great reviews on Yelp for this salon. Lyssa gave me a perfect color and the best haircut I have ever had. She is truly a natural artist as not only did she cut my hair so well but I watched her cut a young man's hair from long to a fantastic short cut with no guidance from him. He walked away so happy as did I. I only wish I lived closer because I would be moving to her for good. Lyssa is talented and really listens to what you want. She has great ideas and suggestions for what will look good and I am so glad I found her. read more

Whew! Moved from Missouri to Colorado and had to go through the beauty anxiety of finding a new solid hair dresser. Luckily I came across this salon and scheduled a cut and color with Becca. I was not disappointed! Becca patiently let me explain everything I wanted and did a great job with my highlights and lowlights, and somehow managed to make my hair feel even longer after a trim when I explained I wanted to keep the length but shape my layers. Just moved to the valley and needed a place to go for waxing. Linda was great! So quick, knowledgeable and did a excellent job.

I did not have a good experience with this salon. The stylist kept trying to get me to do thing I didn't want to do with my hair and also snuck in a hair treatment that I didn't ask for and charged me an extra $25 for it which I was not expecting to spend. Hold your ground with this salon ladies (if you decide to go here). Disrespectful treatment of clients. read more

I was recently in Beaver Creek for my sons wedding. My family of all ages, and I booked the morning for hair and makeup with Linda and Anna. A little snack and drink for the wedding party too! After having some disappointing experiences with barbers and hair salons in the Vail Valley, I finally discovered West One Salon. I'm so glad I did! The environment was very relaxing. Becca Ciaffone was my stylist and she was incredible! She is very sweet, charming, and she gave me the best haircut I've had in years! Many friends of mine have given me complements on my hair. I've recommended her to quite a few people and I'll continue to do so. Oh yeah, the complimentary alcoholic beverage and the head massage was also a huge plus. After moving to Vail from Maine about a month ago, I was in desperate need to find the perfect place to get my eye brows waxed and my hair done! I am unbelievably picky when it comes to both subjects. I was referred to Becca Ciaffone by my employer for waxing. After setting an appt, I decided to go through with making a hair appointment as well. My eyebrows came out perfect! Exactly how I like them. When it came time to get a "trim & color" Becca thoroughly walked me through a consultation. I felt like my hair was in 100% trust worthy hands. I told her to do her thing, with a few suggestions in mind. I got about 6" cut and and all around color with some splashes of blonde. I absolutely LOVE everything about it. Not to mention I decided to do a protein treatment to my hair and was followed up by a HEAVENLY head massage. Becca made me feel completely comfortable the entire time, from 2 days prior at the waxing till I walked out the doors after my appt. This is the first time I've ever made a follow up appointment. This place saved me! I had my fair share of mishaps with hair salons in the valley and I was beginning to lose hope. I decided to give one more place a try and found West1 Salon in Eagle Vail. Anna was very reassuring and knowledgable on the phone with everything I wanted to do and made me feel comfortable knowing I wouldn't leave without getting what I wanted. For starters, any place that offers wine at 11am is already earning 2 stars. Anna saw my hair and new exactly what had gone wrong at the previous salon. She walked me through what the process should have been from the beginning and how she can fix it now. Every step was explained in detail and it really put my mind at ease knowing she is a professional colorist with a plethora of experience. When it came time for my cut she noticed the previous stylist had made my hair completely uneven!! At that point (hair color perfectly done to my specifications) I knew i could trust Anna to fix this cut and I let her have free reign to do so. During my appointment everyone at the salon was personable and I felt like they all cared about my situation and wanted to make it better. By far the best experience I have had at a Vail salon.
