Horrible Santa Reservation System - Children Left Disappointed…read more I prepaid and made reservations for a 2:30 PM visit with Santa today at Twelve Oaks Mall for my 8-year-old daughter and her friend. When we arrived there were two lines--one for reservations and one for walk-ups--but absolutely no organization whatsoever. No one was actually checking reservation times, so people with later time slots could have easily been standing ahead of us in line for all we know. We stood in the "reservation" line for 25 minutes with zero movement, and when we finally asked, the manager told us they were still on 1:30 PM appointments and were not actually checking appointment times until you got to the front of the line- not sure what good that does. She even admitted things were not set up correctly and things were not running smoothly, but had no explanation as to why no one was checking times when putting people in line. We unfortunately had to leave because we had already waited with no progress and two disappointed little girls who didn't even get to see Santa. And after all that, they told me no refund was possible even though they clearly weren't honoring the reservation time I paid for. Very poor organization, very disappointing for kids, and extremely unprofessional to take payment up front without providing what was purchased. I really hope management sees this, because this was NOT at all the magical Santa experience we paid for. I would absolutely not recommend booking here based on today's experience.

They have experienced better times, with art fairs, concerts, and more available businesses, and rougher times times where they have had even more empty spaces than now. I have been a customer here since the beginning trying to support this local outdoor mall. I am still on their side and continue to be their customer, even during this semi-tough time. I feel like they aspired to be a Partridge Creek, which is a more aesthetic version of this space with more businesses. I do not think they will ever get there but I currently go to the following businesses, Black Rock, Ford's Garage, the Hub, BATL, Buffalo Wild Wings, Emagine, Bar Louie, Cold Stone, Family of Pets, Kung Fu Tea, and Beer Head. We also go to Chuckies, the bouncing place, and Buddy's in this area. So I am their customer, but they need a more active plan to bring in more customers and do better. We did go to their St. Patrick's Day pub crawl and had a fantastic time. If they could bring in more events, that would be great. This was the second even in recent times I have attended, and honestly, their Emagine is my favorite. So I do want to see this place try to thrive.

The Cons: The many items are not in the correct areas (mens clothing in womens clothing areas, toys and household items in the womens clothing area, etc.), broken and damaged items are found in the sellable merchandise (they should be swept away and unavailable from customers accessing them for purchase), the lines here are SO LONG AND SLOW for checkout, and there are maybe 4-6 employees working the whole store. BUT THE BEST DEAL OF ALL is that you can buy things online (free shipping over $99) and then return to the store if the items don't fit! Or if you just don't like them.
