My fiancé brought in her Chevy Equinox for warranty work in early October 2019. We expected a quick turn around as this isn't the first time it's been in for warranty work. We received a phone call sometime in November saying the part supplier for them went on strike and offered us the option to come and grab our car that has not been fully repaired. We decided not to risk grabbing a potentially hazardous automobile and left it their until the parts company delivered parts. Fast forward. I call on December 16th asking for the status of the vehicle. I get a call back a few minutes later saying the parts will be in a few days and the car will be ready for pickup. Jan 4th 2020. We pick up our unwashed car, low fuel light on and no wiper fluid. This place didn't even have to decency to offer a loaner car for the 3 1/2 months it sat there let alone put some gas in the tank. The place is very unprofessional! Especially the Manager Kurt. We were treated very poorly by this place by Kurt. I had a diagnostic test done on a car because it was having issues and as I explained everything SINGLE thing wrong with it I took it in 3 weeks later when my appt was first thing I walked in to check in the guy asked me questions and one of them was, "You're having problems shifting right?" and I said yes so becareful. They take it and it takes 1 hr as I come up to pay they said nothing was wrong with the car and 1 wire was off and needed to be on again and that's it. They were trying to charge me more then they should of because I supposedly never said anything about the shifting when that was one of the questions the guy asked me when checking in & the lady Jamie kept arguing being rude because I asked questions about what was being charged & I didn't understand then I asked for the manager & she said the manager isn't here then I told her I explained everything to the women who I made the appt with weeks ago and she said, "Ohhh, I guess it was a miscommunication then I'll take off the charge" which she did but was still rude. I decided to call 2 days later because I felt that I paid for service that didn't do anything which I spoke to Kurt. We agreed on a time & day, came in asked for Kurt & then I heard him arguing over the phone with a customer and I recognized his voice and came over and spoke with us and starting giving us an attitude about us having to drive it with a tech & we were told to just drop it off and he didn't like that we didn't want to do it. As we were leaving he told me, "You know what I don't need you to be arguing with me you can just take it back" I said what are you talking about I'm inside my car leaving like seriously and then he's like, "okay we'll look it and I'll call you when it's ready" and as I drive off I'm speaking to my husband in the truck and he sees me talking upset to my husband he flags us down from the other side of the parking lot saying, "You can just take it I'm done I'll give you you're money back" and I started arguing with him because now I'm pissed and he ending up saying he would keep it again so we left and he told me he was on the phone with someone and made him upset and he apologized but that wasn't enough for me. I told him me & my husband heard him arguing too. But that's no right to treat us the way he did. Turns out there were 2-3k worth of stuff needed to be fixed. Completely horrible. NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHITTY PLACE. read more

We went into to buy a car. We drove it and noticed that it seemed to have an issue with the transmission. They had 3 people look at it, a technician and the service manager drove it and assured us that there was nothing wrong with the transmission. There is very much something wrong with the transmission. We were there for quite a while the day we bought the car and everyone was very nice however we are now stuck with a car we paid cash for that has issues. We usually buy our cars from another dealership however this time we wanted something specific and we will NEVER make this mistake again. read more

First impression of the way the business is ran is very poor. Lack of communication among sales representatives about the vehicles they have available for sale, the web page that lists vehicles for sale isn't correct. The site shows a vehicle is there, and you even reserve it so you can test drive it, and you look again and its gone. Over all have no regard for the customer, when you call to talk to someone, they immediately talk to you as if you already talked to them about financing, when its your first time calling. Review from a customer that DIDN'T go with this dealer, and why I wish I could have. When I contacted the Internet Sales Manager, Jared Nebel, he was prompt, helpful and courteous in his replies. We set a time for me to visit and see some options, and he was quick to confirm and meet me. i had a very specific car and model with features in mind for a certain price, and Jared was patient and methodical in researching their inventory and talking with the manager about options for me that were still in the inspection/detail location. He even researched another car from another dealership that I had my best offer on, pulled the CarFax for me and was forthright in telling me that they had nothing in inventory that they could match the price on. He even urged me to call the other dealership to hold the car for me (because it was THAT great of a deal). He was right. The car at the other dealership left the lot 30 minutes before I called them. Even after, when I contacted West Metro to tell them the other deal fell through, they were still trying to find a car that they knew I would love and they could meet me on the price with. Unfortunately, they just didn't have the specific car in inventory that I fell in love with and another dealer did. I still would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. They treat you like an equal. They are kind, honest, prompt and courteous, and I WISH I could have purchased from them. Even though the deal didn't happen, I wanted to let everyone know how hard they worked for me, and I will go to them again in a heartbeat for my future vehicle purchases. read more

12/14/15: I was introduced to West Metro Buick GMC when I submitted a request for information on a new vehicle. They are a "no hassle, no negotiation" dealership that puts their best price forward, and does not pay their sales people commission on sales. Jared emailed me with the information I requested, and then told me to contact him if I wanted to test drive. He was not pushy and left me alone until I decided to make the 50 minute drive to Monticello because they gave me a super reasonable quote on the vehicle I was interested in. I emailed Jared on a Tuesday morning asking if I could come up that afternoon to look at the vehicle. I found out that this is normally his day off, yet he was waiting for me when I arrived at 2pm. He spent an hour with me, answering all my questions and test driving the vehicle. I left, and Jared went home - except I returned 15 minutes later to purchase. He gladly came beck to work to assist me. I then met with Paul, the finance manager. Paul was no nonsense, asked a few questions, and then came back 10 minutes later with the best option for me. Again, no pressure, no added side sales - he showed me options that made sense for me, answered my questions, and let me decide what I wanted. He explained everything I asked about in the paperwork without being condescending, and treated me like a knowledgable and respected customer. After my purchase, despite his dinner plans, Jared took all the time that was needed to fully explain all the features of my technologically advanced vehicle, and did not make me feel like I was being rushed so he could go home. I was out of the dealership within 3 hours of my first arrival, and was never pressured. The made me a fair deal, including a fair trade-in deal. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, and I could tell they were doing their best to make everyone at the dealership feel comfortable and taken care of. I have never had such a pleasant experience purchasing a car anywhere else. They left me loving their dealership, and totally satisfied. They now have a loyal customer in me. -------------- Update 1/16/16: I took my vehicle in to have accessories installed, and it was a great experience. They had a loaner vehicle waiting for me, which was a brand new, loaded GMC Sierra with only 500 miles on it ready to go with a full tank. They gave me an estimated completion time, and when I arrived at that time the vehicle was finished and the work was done in a quality manner. I did ask them to look at repairing a scratch, and they told me they would have to send it to an external shop for a quote as they do not do body work at the dealership - which is a negative for me, but not a big negative. We bought a used vehicle. However, we did purchase the extended warranty which was a good thing. There was an unbelievable amount of problems with the vehicle. Working with Jamie was very wonderful. Our vehicle was fixed front to back and seems to be running very well since their repairs. We did aquire a couple of deep scratches on our vehicle which is the reason for 3 stars. We did get a quote for a repair and it is over $600. The scratches are new and one has ruined our 3m rock coverage on the front of the vehicle. We were unable to see these scratches until we returned home with the vehicle and saw it in the light of our garage. We do have pictures of the vehicle before and after. Also, it should be noted we did not buy this mess of a vehicle from their dealership. read more

Did some warranty work on our 2008 suburban with 50k miles when the wheel fell off on our way from Iowa to northern Minnesota. The ball joint, wheel bearing, rotor, caliper, cv joint and caliper bracket were ruined... The car was towed in on Sunday night and they did not have the parts until Thursday and the work wasn't completed until Saturday around noon, after I called every day for updates. They failed to mention that the tow to their facility was covered under warranty and when I asked the service manager (Kurt) about being reimbursed he let out an audible sigh and said "yeah, I guess, if you have the receipt". I was put on hold for every call made each day ranging anywhere from 5-12 minutes, after being on hold for 12 minutes I called back and they answered on the first ring in the service dept so they could not have been far from the phone... Claimed she forgot, just seems like a huge game of pass the buck to me, would not go there to buy a car after my service experiences and I definitely wouldn't go there for service. read more

I always have a great experience with service at this dealership, and this was another outstanding experience this month. The service person I worked with was exceptionally friendly and pleasant when I made the appointment, when I got a call about what they had found, and when I picked up the vehicle. One part was a decision point with options related to replacing the battery or not. They did not "sell." They gave me the information on their test results and what it means. When I wanted advice, they told me the mechanics opinion if it were his vehicle, but did it in a way to make clear that it was not the only answer and was up to me, and gave me information about the new battery if I wanted to go that way. I did the replacement and when I picked up the vehicle my receipt included photographs of the test equipment doing the measurements. I trusted them already, but they went beyond just telling me the information -- the DOCUMENTED it and gave me the documentation. Wow. read more

All I can say is, Wow ! When Jeff Sell speaks, PEOPLE LISTEN ! I had an emergency repair needed to the headlight of my 2015 GMC purchased at West Metro, and I was 180 miles from home.
