They removed front and rear recovery hooks from my truck between the test drive and purchasing the vehicle (which was same day). I was also supposed to get a front license plate mount weeks ago since the truck came from Florida, but they never followed up with that either. Good overall customer service. Staff was very friendly. I was able to take a loaner car. Loaner car was a nice 2019 Equinox. Surprisingly they didn't vacuum the floors or seats tho and there was a bunch of dirt. Also didn't go over loaner car rules with me and instead gave me the sheet of paper. I had code 0300. Was glad the problem was fixed a lot faster than I was expecting. They explained my car problem in great detail on phone. Originally on phone they told me it would take about an hour, but they never called me to tell me it was finished which was odd. We stopped by for a look to see what was available and to get an idea of the price range. No intention of talking to anyone. Right now we are looking for 3 vehicles. A sales guy approached my car and proceeded to lean against my car. He then asked my teen how much they were thinking of spending and was told around 7K. He said "you won't find any cars anywhere for less that 20k. You can come back when you have more money saved" then proceeded to hand us his card. He never said a word to me. I was surprised how rude and dismissive he was and especially that he didn't talk to the adult in the car ... a bit creepy in my opinion. read more

Went to dealership, paying more for better service and workmanship. First they charged to just look at truck when i already knew what was wrong and claimed it was a basic inspection they do. Next they ordered the wrong parts. That can happen....Brought it home till part came in....They forgot to latch down the hood. Part came in...Then after leaving truck for the second time, they called and said it needed another part, so i left it longer. Thats fine. Then they called and said truck was done. I picked up and when i got home parking brake didnt work. Took it back and they didnt say even say sorry that i had to come back. They couldnt get it in till monday now and i had to leave it again. Upon calling manager, it turned out another ''connector'' part was needed but left hand didnt tell right hand this. Monday they finally got it fixed. I asked about any compensation for all the time and trips to get it in, not just me but my ride i needed home each time. Shop manger just ignored me and said ''its an old truck''. I said other places gave a free wash or oil change or cash off.... He said NO. Imagine my surprise when on mirror was a ticket for DOLLARS off my next visit on brackets of dollar spent. NO THANKS! Purchased a 2017 Chevy Malibu on 5/29 after trading in my Fusion. The sales person and finance person were both nice guys. While the vehicle had plastic wheel covers to give it a "sporty" look I decided I didn't want them on the vehicle. Fast forward to 5/31 and I took my car to another Cornerstone Dealership to have them removed off the vehicle. When I arrived home, I noticed a "lot" of scuff marks on the market rims. I had a feeling that the dealership was trying to hide the scuff marks behind faux rims. I am now left with repairing these damaged rims. read more

Wish I could give it negative stars- Omg this is terrible!! Mine wasn't supposed to go over 14,500 I sat with sales man for 5 hours so we went over several time payments, interest, totals, I mean EVERYTHING well when my husband got out of work to sign some paper work we got directed to the finance office for the first time. Well the financing was already completely done (never experienced this as usually I've sat in office while they'd go over everything in front of me as they did it) so it was 10 min til closing when my husband arrived and he even left work and hour early and put rental car had to be retuned in 40 minutes. NOTHING was explained and we just assumed everything matched what we told the sales man over and over.. finance guy said something in the lines of this won't be very long and "sign here- initial here- sign- initial- date- sign- sign" you get the pic I'm sure. So we leave with car and I'm not sure I had ever been so disappointed. As soon as I started easing the number and fine print it was a total scam and rip off. I called first thing the next morning and told them I want to return the car they wouldn't let me and after expressing my disgust to several people they finally apologIze and said they will make a new contract and take all the bullshit charges out and it will match the number the sales man told me- meet up a couple days later they had the new contract that they signed and we signed and we were happy and on our way- fast forward 34 days I got to make first payment and was asked "so your just making a partial payment today and I said No this is full she told Me not according the contract the bank provided them with. Coincidentally I get a call from dealership that night saying sorry the second loan we gave you couldn't get approved. I said how did I leave with the "simple finance loan contract" without it being approved. Well it went down hill from there. I couldn't find a single competent employee to explain it. Brought it to my lawyer, send it to attorney general, my credit union and a few others and they all said that this was way wrong and I had a case. Cornerstone fought with us. They lied like a Persian rug. OVER And OVER. They thought i was dumb and would just pay 21,000 for. Car that my bank values at $13175 it's been 6 months. It's still not resolved and I have A lot of people involved. I'm not settling or backing down. Fix it right or I'll see you in court! I don't want to hear their bull shit of "we will pay $2500 to your principle" NO NO NO you will correct eVerything you will apologize and you will admit you were wrong so wish me luck because I'm going to need it. Their billboard acts like they are all religious.. I don't think ripping people off of their hard earned money is something that would be approved of. Can't believe they over charged you and never corrected it!?? Did they at least apologize eventually or admit they were wrong? That facility should be shut down. It's easy to get to and they charged $311. 1 year later it broke again which is ok it could be a design issue but got it fixed at Bosch Auto in Big Lake for $170 and they showed me the broken cover so I could do it myself if it happens again. Don't go here. Overpriced. Cheaper options with better quality nearby. read more

Terrible service. Called ahead to see if cars I was looking for were still available, got kind of a brush off answer of "yeah, yeah sure, we've got them". Decided to go check it out anyway. Could not get a salesman to acknowledge us, let alone help us in any way. Got back in our car and drove around the lot but could only locate 1 of the three cars I was looking for. They will try to say there going to fix all the things that are wrong with the car as soon as soon you buy it,but when you buy it they don't fix anything and they will even threaten you for questioning them. My 2011 Equinox was due for a 120,000 check. Kati was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule. Jim checked me in and we chatted about the tires and Christmas plans. He helped me decide which coupon was my best option of the many coupons I had with me. Kati swung by to say hi and then came to the lounge when my SUV was ready. The oil change and tire rotation was completed in a timely manner. Kati reviewed the report with me and wished me a merry Christas. The sales rep (joe) and finance lady were great to work with and I would love to give 5 stars and a 10 but we had some issues with the price. The initial price was $33,000 and I ended up having to cover the pricing mistake which is in my opinion bait and switch. So I ended up walking out paying $34,500 because of a pricing mistake. I went with a relative who was searching for a car. Had a very nice experience with Tim Furman. He was very nice & knowledgeable about the car even though it was not a Chevy (it was a used car). He had a very nice demeanor, helpful with questions and even followed up with a phone call a couple days later to see if there was any help he could provide. The car was supplied with special floor mats from their dealership (for wattery/snowy weather), in addition to the car supplied floor mats - a nice touch. We were very close to buying this car. It was in great condition and a good deal. She only didn't close the deal since she got a better trade in value elsewhere. I recommend this dealership and salesman. Ended up finding out our tires had exposed CORDS on the inside, we were never told, or possibly they never checked. Terrible response to our situation. Dear Cornerstone Chevrolet, I dropped my car off for warranty service this morning and received a loaner. The tank was full (actually it was above full), and I was told that the tank needed to be full when I returned it. I drove the car to my house (1.7 miles) and back to Cornerstone (1.7 miles) when my car was ready. When I pulled in, one of the service guys at the desk asked me if I topped of the tank. I told him I drove to my house and back and that it was still full (in fact, above full still). He gave me a look and then told me in a snotty way, "Everyone tops it off" - letting me know that I should fill it up. I couldn't believe I had to go fill the tank when the gas gauge didn't even move!! I put in .3 gallons, and I was worried that the tank would overflow because it was already above the full line. I was thinking about trying you guys out for an oil change after talking to one of the service guys when I dropped off my car, but the treatment I received when I picked up my car made me rethink my decision. We buy our cars from Main Motors in Anoka and usually have them serviced there or from Dennis's in Monticello. Main Motors would never tell me to fill the gas tank if it was still above full. Being at Cornerstone today made me remember why we don't bring our cars to you. read more
