I literally called at 1:15p about a prescription my daughter needs that was supposed to be filled on the 13th this week when her Dr called it in, and they cancelled it, so when I resubmitted it Wednesday, the only option was Friday pick up. At 1:15, she said it's ready now and you'll be able to pick it up when we open after break at 2pm. So I took my lunch break from work in Taylor and drove all the way to Trenton to ensure my child gets her needed medication and I go in since the drive up line was 5 cars deep to see two pharmacy techs playing on phones with the pharmacy closed. The pharmacist had to leave and they didn't know how long it would be until they were open again, but possibly 20-30min and they only said anything to me after I asked. Then there was no apology for my inconvenience. If I had any other option near my house in Trenton, I would be moving everything to a new pharmacy and I may even do just that anyway and have to drive to a different city because I am so tired of dealing with the issues every single month. My personal prescriptions took almost a week to refill last week as well, because of the "technical issues" and back up they had from that, although everytime I called they said it would be ready that day and it never was. They don't carry the two prescriptions that I need so when I was telling the owner, why are you so concerned about my other medication's? He's like because I can ask questions and also why are you getting from two pharmacies? I personally number one nobody carries these two medicines that I need except you guys and the second thing is no disrespect. It's none of nobody's where I get my medicine from. All I need is my medicine so I can feel better so he told me to hold my horses and told with the medication that you have at these other pharmacy why don't you get it from there? I told they don't carry them and they don't order them. You guys are the only ones been coming there for three years and now you're giving me trouble about medicine that I really need. And he was like you're too much medicine. I told him that's none of your business and he told me listen. I am the owner and I fill your prescriptions for you. I said you are talking about my medication's other medication's in front different people that I don't know who's in the store and that's against my and he told me no it's not. I will more than gladly to go do that because it took me 10 different pharmacies until I found Apollo pharmacy in Wyandotte and they had no problems filling my prescriptions for three years and they did not ask are you taking these other and why are you getting them from another pharmacy? He's just being greedy because I didn't give all my medicine to him so he can make the money. It seems like he's hurting for money or he needs more money or he's racially profiling me because of who I am and I think that's the reason why and if you go look on people are giving him bad reviews as well too because they don't fill prescriptions or ask them about what other medicines they have and why they medicines and it's none of their these are none opioid prescriptions and also I don't take any opioids as well for him to name all my medicines in front of the crowd of his workers and customers was a violation of my HPAA law he said my name he said my date of birth he said my address and you know what I feel violated and disrespectful by this gentleman he should not own this place. Per one of the employee she stated, "the pharmacist had to pick and choose who he was going to continuing filling prescriptions for and there are several customers he will not be filling for anymore." I come the same time every month. So maybe call and double check on yours or switch to a place that has care for their patients medical needs. They are patient when looking things up, and patient when explaining information about the prescriptions. Whenever I start a new prescription, I get a follow up phone call asking me how I am doing on the new med. Considering that they are so busy, I think they handle their work and clients very professionally in the store, at the drive-through, or on the phone. I suggest complaining customers exercise patience when waiting during the busier times of the day. Accuracy takes time and concentration. All healthcare professionals these days are dealing with complex job demands, frequent industry changes, plus corporate pressures. I respect and am grateful for their contributions to my healthcare.

If I question the script she tells me to call the doctor, which makes no sense being the correction of the script has to be communicated between the doctor and pharmacist, NOT the patient and the pharmacist. This last episode did it for me! I am asking for a script and asking questions about the script, and asked her to print the instructions for the medication (please,) and she would not do it nor did I get the medication. This has been going on for years, and enough is enough. If they don't get their act together, they will lose a lot of business, if they haven't already. And the corporate people, do you really read these reviews? The money will run dry if you don't take action based on what you are reading. It is not always about money; it is about client satisfaction.

Also the pharmacy staff has never tried to be my doctor or said they won't fill a script. I enjoy this place and I do think it's a lot better than the extremely over priced Rite Aid.

They are always available and happy to help with any questions or concerns. 2.) Many of the pharmacists and the techs know my husband and me by name, and always greet us and ask us how things are going. 3.) They are helpful when it comes to insurance. Our insurance was giving us the run-around about our inhalers...in addition to the fact their site went down and made it look like we were trying to get double of the same thing. Long story short, one pharmacist went out of his way to call us AFTER he had called the ins. company and straightened everything out. I noticed it was about 10 min. before the pharmacy closed; he went above and beyond, and could have easily put it off until the next day. 4.) They warn you if the medication will be expensive ahead of time. 5.) If insurance won't cover something, they do everything possible to help you financially with the medication (manufacturers coupons/ programs/suggestions for your doctor/etc.).
