I am so frustrated with this pharmacy. It's not so much as the people who do the customer service, it seems the steps they have to go through to make sure you get the right order is great-they are thorough. It's the pharmacist. I have to tug with her every time lately to get answers from her. If I question the script she tells me to call the doctor, which makes no sense being the correction of the script has to be communicated between the doctor and pharmacist, NOT the patient and the pharmacist. This last episode did it for me! I am asking for a script and asking questions about the script, and asked her to print the instructions for the medication (please,) and she would not do it nor did I get the medication. This has been going on for years, and enough is enough. If they don't get their act together, they will lose a lot of business, if they haven't already. And the corporate people, do you really read these reviews? The money will run dry if you don't take action based on what you are reading. Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. Without fail, there is always an issue with getting a prescription filled. It's remarkable how downhill it's gotten the last few years. I've moved everything I can from here. !@!@!@!@! AVOID !@!@!@!@ THIS location if you have legit pain prescriptions!!!!!!!! They did everything but fingerprint and put me in a jail cell. They even documented my file so I can't go to any Walgreens. Plus my insurance uses Walgreens... I'm waiting for a cancer diagnosis and have legit prescriptions. These [expletive] pharmacy even reported my Oncologist. Why you might ask? Strike 1: two prescriptions for pain meds (have cancer pain!!!) Strike 2: filling prescription near where I work Strike 3: prescription is too close to prior prescription- just filled a small one to see if they worked and now have a regular prescription. They hassled me, and my oncologist. Thank you for stopping me from feeling better and feeling like a drug addict. read more

Do not use this pharmacy. Many Walgreens are good, this one is definitely not. The pharmacist is terrible! She has no idea what she is doing, she thinks she is your Dr. And will hold up your script with a total disregard for your time. Plus when they claim your script is ready....we'll it's not but if you wait 20 min maybe it will be...totally unprofessional and I hope that someone reads this and can fire her for the way things are run there! read more

The pharmacist, William, was a complete jerk on the phone and hung up while I was asking about my meds. This place is so ghetto. I would give 0 stars if I could. The pharmacy here is a joke. Staff is rude, slow and unprofessional. Esp the pharmacist William. Don't ever drop off a script, and ask to wait for it. I was told to come back in at least 3 hours!? Really? Then I go back, just for them to tell me they don't have it in stock. Why didn't they call me?? Their answer.. "we are extremely busy". Well, that's not my problem, if you are getting this many bad reviews, then maybe you should staff up and get rid of the slackers! I honestly can't even pick one good employee there! I will never go back here again. Seems like the bigger named pharmacies don't care one bit about their customers. I now have my transferred to a smaller family owned pharmacy. Lots of clearance items, store is clean and well stocked. Haven't filled any prescriptions here, but I've had photos printed and they've done a good job. The staff is always nice. Parking lot is always clean. read more

This Walgreens is a joke. Walked in at 950 and a minute with me being in there a guy rudely announced they were closing in 10 minutes. I was looking for tampons and found the tampon isle but found adult diapers instead. Two employees saw me and never asked me if I needed help. If the employees were in such a hurry to get the only customer out of the store they should have offered help. read more

The people who work in the pharmacy are very unprofessional, and rude. I called to get the status of a script, they put me on hold for not even a second. When the lady answered the phone she was having another conversation with one of her coworkers. After saying hello three times she laughed then said " oh now I can help you, what did you want" in a rude voice. I told her I was wondering why my script said delay and was not ready after three days of them supposed to be filled. She proceeded to tell me that they haven't heard from my doctors, again in a rude voice. Already have contacted my doctor prior to the phone call with the pharmacy. My doctor said that never even received a phone call from the pharmacy regarding my medication. This place should be shut down, or be given a hole new staff. Very unprofessional. read more

Long lines staff is mehh about helping you. I once brought in children's medicine that was expired and had mold floating in it so I returned it then 2 weeks later I found the same container and their clearance section I brought it to the managers attention and they didn't seem to be too concerned. read more

Walked into the pharmacy to get my flu shot and the lady told me that they stopped doing them for the rest of the night. I asked why and she said they were "too busy". So I asked her when was a good time for me to come in the morning and she basically told me they were probably going to be busy all day and to not even bother. What a joke. Don't advertise flu vaccines if your "too busy" to do a 5 minute procedure. read more

I switched to Walgreen because of my prescription insurance. This pharmacy is SLOW to fill prescriptions and on more than one occasion were out of my prescription and I either had to go to another Walgreen or it took sometimes 2-4 days to get my prescription in. Even an over the counter vitamin. At the new year I am now going to CVS hoping to have better customer service. read more

If I could go anywhere else, I would. Unfortunately, starting in January, I was forced to use Walgreen's (retiree from Ford) plus my long-time drug store, Sav-On in Woodhaven closed. I have had one problem after another (first my current prescriptions were all lost and I had to call for new ones). The latest was I tried to refill a prescription only to find out that my new prescription coverage required a pre-authorization from my doctor to be refilled. However, NO ONE told me that. First, I was told they would only refill 15 at a time (my prescription was for 30) but, not to worry, just call 2 days before it expired and they would refill it no problem, the insurance would only cover 15 days at a time. So, first I tried to refill on-line via my phone, no luck, no response. Then I called yesterday to refill it by actually talking to someone in Pharmacy. Told them I could wait until today to pick them up. No one mentioned this new clause in my coverage. So, today, still no confirmation of my prescription, so I called again and was told, out of the blue, that my insurance would not cover it because they needed this pre-authorization from my doctor, which would have been nice to know before today. So, I just paid for the total out of pocket. I can assure you that Sav-On would have let me know this and given me a heads up. Every time you go to Walgreen's, there is someone different in the Pharmacy, I'm sure they save money this way, not having permanent staff. I got excellent service and everyone knew me at Sav-On, I was sorry to see them close. The ONLY good thing about Walgreen's is their drive-through pharmacy. So far, I've had one bad experience after another there. I can only hope when I sign up for Medicare, I can go somewhere else. read more
