I've been hearing about this screen since then and today my grandma said that she needed to see if it was finished. I told her I'd go down to see if it was finished and get it for her. Walked in and was asked if we needed any help. Told the man we were there to pick up a screen. Some kid went in the back and said it wasn't finished. We asked when it would be finished because it had been here awhile, and we were told that the guy who does the screens only comes in on weekends (and he might be on vacation right now), and that he usually puts the aluminum screens in front of the wooden ones because wooden ones are such a pain. Okay, so what I'm hearing is that I clearly need to take it someplace else. We said we'd take the screen back and the man said he'd call the screen guy. After his call the man goes, "we'll there must be a lot of grandkids because a grandson was here yesterday and asked for the screen and we told him Saturday or Sunday." (Yesterday was Saturday, and today is Sunday. Also it's not your business how many grandkids my grandparents have?) He said he would give our grandparents a call today when it was finished. I can only pray that that'll actually happen. My point is: my grandparents will probably continue to shop here because they have for 30 years, but I won't be coming back. (The bird bath I was going to buy? Forget it.)

The selection is great, and they're expanding. The customer service is beyond anything you see anywhere else today. I was just stunned at how good they were as soon as I walked through the door! My husband and I bought a new refrigerator at a "big box" store three years ago. The compressor…read morewent out within two years, and we were told by the box store and the refrigerator's maker, "tough luck." We were also told by local repair people that they wouldn't try to repair the refrigerator because it was too hard. The box store told us to call the manufacturer and have them send out a technician. We waited for six months- and no one came. We bought a replacement refrigerator at Home Appliance. In less than a year, the refrigerator started to have issues. Not a fault of Home Appliance,but a fault of faulty manufacturing- or we just have really bad luck with refrigerators. Home Appliance sent a repair person out quickly- they fixed the problem- but it came back. They came out four different times in a two week period. They did everything they could. They could not fix it, so, two days ago, we got a new refrigerator. All of this was done at no charge (it was under warranty). They also gave us a loaner fridge to use while we waited for the new one. Big box stores may be a few dollars cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Home Appliance will be our go to store from here on out. Thank you Home Appliance for maintaining a reputation of caring for your customers.
