Great old-school store! Hard to find parts, great service, friendly watch dog. If they can't help you, they send you to who can.

My wife and I have had an overall positive experience at this Menards, and now that we've been…read morecoming here for a while, we know when to come here and when to go to their competitors. We have found that the pros mostly outweigh the cons. We've saved some money coming here through the years and have almost always found what we've needed for own home repairs and yard maintenance. The store is clean, well organized, and store employees have always been helpful and friendly. I've used the Menards app to see if the store has what I'm looking for and to help me locate items once I've found them. That's very useful. We get a kick out of finding food and drinks there. Couldn't believe we found giardiniera (spicy relish often used on Chicago-style hot dogs) and other items there in a pinch. It's saved us from going to a much busier grocery store. We've rented their pickup truck to bring furniture to our daughter''s new place. That was a good value and rental was a snap. But there are three things that we have found not so great: 1.) Their garden section is hit-or-miss with plants, and sometimes the plants look a bit unhealthy. 2.) I wish product reviews were available on their website and app to help me decide if products I'm considering are good or not. 3.) I think the rebate system is terrible; unless you are spending a lot, sending in a rebate slip to get back 11% on a five dollar item isn't worth the postage stamp, and you aren't always guaranteed that an item has a rebate attached to it-we recently discovered that. Also the 'rebate' is store credit, so not really cash back in your pocket.

(Manager was being transparent) I love that. just want your employees to think twice never know who's family lost family members to today's current event. God bless America

There's a large parking lot and I was greeted right upon entering. The staff were easy to find and weren't intrusive when asking if I needed any help - ideal for me! Everything seems well organized and clean - made it easy to find just what I needed for the job. My mom likes this Ace Hardware because they have a good selection of windchimes and items for her garden (in particular they carry Woodstock Chimes, which are made local to me and great quality - I've given several as a gift and they are always well received).

To me you would think that they'd be happy to have any kind of customers instead of acting as if you're ruining their day by asking them for help I was getting a flashlight and you can't get them because they're all completely locked up if you're not interested in helping people then unlock the merchandise so that the people can help themselves.

We recently purchased a GE Refrigerator/Freezer from Home Depot (4066 Medina Rd, Fairlawn, OH…read more44333) which came with Free Delivery and Installation. Delivery and Installation was a joke. All that was done was to carry the appliance into the house and plug it in. The refrigerator was brought in as it was shipped by the manufacturer. This means that they did not install handles or shelving which was shoved inside the refrigerator in boxes. They would not install the water line because our shut off valve was not immediately behind the refrigerator. We called a plumber out and he thought this was crazy because we had a setup with a shutoff valve right below the refrigerator in the basement which he indicated was to code. He advised doing nothing and we should simply hook the waterline into the new refrigerator ourselves. The 4 refrigerator doors were totally covered with a blue protective film which was also tucked into the seams so it could not be removed cleanly. When I asked the delivery man about the protective film, his response was "do you expect me to spend my day peeling this off". My wife and I spent hours over 2 days trying to remove the film but are still left with blue film around the edges which we can't get totally out. If you look at the Home Depot website, they have a picture of delivery men carrying in a refrigerator very similar to ours that that has handles installed and no protective film on the appliance - FALSE ADVERTISING! We will never return to Home Depot again.
