I was in the back of the store with two men filling out paperwork and getting the process started. Final check out was at the front of the store. I come up and explain I'm buying the mower and need to sign up for the credit card offering. The young man working the counter asked me if I would like 5% back on the credit card. I said sure why not. not realizing the offerings were either 5% back or promotional period of 48 months interest free. The young man signed me up for 5% back on a 4,000$ purchase that now has an interest rate of 27%. I paid 3 payments and owe more than I did when I initially purchased it!!!! I called once I noticed and got in touch with them and the credit card company. I was told they would honor it and fix the mistake. A month later I get a email stating they cannot approve my request. After paying 600-700$ in interest on my interest free card, I had to pay off the balance of 4,021.99$. I would have never purchased this mower if it wasn't for the interest free promotion they were running. I will never in my life do business again with Family Farm & Garden. It was my first and my last time. I wish I would have gone to Tractor Supply or Royal King. Please save your time and money and do the same thing.

I would always go there because they were a quick convenient option. Over the years I have just been disgusted with the quality & selection they provide for me to offer to my customers. I always wanted to give this place a try but it's kinda far for me to travel. Now I just incorporate the time into my working day or just go in a Saturday morning to pick up material. Since I switched over to Terry, I have actually enjoyed my work much more & my customers have noticed the difference in quality as well. NIGHTMARE- I grew up as Jamie's neighbor, he was friends with my brothers, and we stayed in touch…read moreafter 40 years so naturally I considered him when remodeling my kitchen. What a mistake!!! He left $56,500 worth of cabinetry in the sweltering heat and humidity in Florida 'Beverly Hillbilly' style with over 100 degree heat index and forecasted storms without my prior consent or knowledge that he didn't schedule his installer to arrive for more than a week away! He drove off without even mentioning that detail. EVERY single cabinet was either damaged, mismeasured, built to the wrong specifications, missing shelves, drawers, door fronts, pullouts, or return panels!!! I've been left with no choice other than to bring the details and the facts to the court for a matter of public record and not public opinion. These photos speak for themselves otherwise. Update: 6/27/23 in response to Owner - Refer to all photos on all review sites for what Jamie considers "above and beyond", "complete", and damage resulting from "all necessary precautions to protect your cabinets" and decide for yourself if this is the level of service or craftsmanship you expect when spending $56,000... Also, he IS YOUR employee and installer, you delivered the cabinets in HIS dump trailer covered in a tarp with no packing materials, YOU scheduled him to come down for install and recover his dump trailer, and you REIMBURSED him for his travel expenses.
