If it's a part for a rotating piece of equipment you need, or a real deal this or that, they'll probably have it.

I was in the back of the store with two men filling out paperwork and getting the process started. Final check out was at the front of the store. I come up and explain I'm buying the mower and need to sign up for the credit card offering. The young man working the counter asked me if I would like 5% back on the credit card. I said sure why not. not realizing the offerings were either 5% back or promotional period of 48 months interest free. The young man signed me up for 5% back on a 4,000$ purchase that now has an interest rate of 27%. I paid 3 payments and owe more than I did when I initially purchased it!!!! I called once I noticed and got in touch with them and the credit card company. I was told they would honor it and fix the mistake. A month later I get a email stating they cannot approve my request. After paying 600-700$ in interest on my interest free card, I had to pay off the balance of 4,021.99$. I would have never purchased this mower if it wasn't for the interest free promotion they were running. I will never in my life do business again with Family Farm & Garden. It was my first and my last time. I wish I would have gone to Tractor Supply or Royal King. Please save your time and money and do the same thing.

He was worried that if I waited we might not have everything when we need bec we are on a time crunch of starting June 12 and ending before the 23rd for the new tenant. I live in California now. So we decided I'd order and he'd drive from Lakeside (an hour and a half ONE WAY) to pick it up. Lowes sent me daily text and email telling me to pick items up and I would call them and ask to hold it all and when it is ALL in he'd go get it so it's only one trip. The young lady never gave me her name, but informed me every call that she knew and the manager approved. That service got them a 5 star. Thank you. But I got a call from a different girl on the May 8th telling me everything was there and needed to be picked up, I explained the situation and asked her if she was sure it was all there, she said yes. The contractor sent one of his guys that was in the area to pick it all up on the 9th. The young man that picked it up, TRUSTED LOWES was giving him the whole order. The young man took it to my storage. I flew in and discovered on June 10th that the shower faucet set is missing and 18 pcs of tile. I contacted the contractor bec I thought it would be better the young man to go in and see the lowes employee he dealt with so he could get the missing stuff. As of today, the 16th, I was told they are not taking care of it. I reordered the shower set and now it's not going to be here until the 21st!!!! Putting us waaaaay behind. I'm so disappointed and unhappy with the way this is all going after spending thousands of dollars at Lowe's and doing that on the regular. I've remodeled 4 kitchens with lowes and planning on doing several more, in fact I stopped in to see Elsa to extend my black kitchen cabinets into my dining room on my 2nd day of landing here. So yesterday my contractor pointed out that the shower pan box has already been opened and when we pulled it out, it has damage. It was obviously a return that got put right back on the shelf. My contractor called Lowe's to exchange and they said they had none in stock. On his way home he decided to go ahead and just stop and looked and he found 2!!! Another damaged one and the one he had them pull down from above rafter and it was good so he bought it. Now I have to return a shower pan and I have no car bec this wasn't part of my plans. I am so disappointed this whole purchase was a mess and I am holding Lowes responsible for it. I get it's hard to get people to work now-a-days and care, but we have got to do better people! I've bought a shower set for $210 twice and do not have one in my hands, paid for 18 pcs of tile that we did not get, and have a damaged pan to return. We haven't opened the shower glass doors yet so praying those are good!!!! I will be going into talk to the manager with hopes of this situation being corrected. Please check your cameras at the front desk where he was given the items and see for yourself that he did not get them on May 9th. One of the emails said to drive through delivery but smaller orders could be picked up inside. The smart assed kid working up front could not have been more rude than he was. I asked him about picking up inside and he said "It's in the very back right corner of the store." I said "But that is the same place you go to if you drive through. Why do you bother saying small orders can be picked up inside?" He snapped at me and said "It's in the far right corner of the store sir." Younger me would have grabbed him by the shirt and slapped him silly for being that disrespectful, but as a man now probably 50 years older than him, I let it go. I went to use the drive through, which requires scanning a QR code from your phone. However, following links to get to the QR code took me in a circular loop where I MUST create an account. I will NOT set up an account. Every account you create is one more place a criminal can try to steal your identity, because businesses (like Menards) sell your information to scammers and hackers. I am an older man and a disabled Vietnam veteran. Menards stores are the size of an indoor sports arena. My old, tired legs simply don't have the steps in them to walk from the front door of Menards all the way to the furthest point of the store and then back again. I then thought "Maybe if I just drive to a closer entrance." Well, there are other doors, but they don't open from outside. Apparently they choose to presumptively accuse me and everybody else entering the store of intending to slip in and out of that door without paying for a bag of wing nuts... And it's not like you really save a ton of money shopping there. Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart... there are all within a dollar or so on everything they sell. You don't really "save more money at Menards". So, rude employees, demanding that everybody open an account so they can spam your email, and an extremely uncomfortable store experience for older people with mobility issues will keep me out of there forever. Now let's see how long they delay sending me a refund for the order I just cancelled. So call these people out for how awful the customer experience is.

We have found that the pros mostly outweigh the cons. We've saved some money coming here through the years and have almost always found what we've needed for own home repairs and yard maintenance. The store is clean, well organized, and store employees have always been helpful and friendly. I've used the Menards app to see if the store has what I'm looking for and to help me locate items once I've found them. That's very useful. We get a kick out of finding food and drinks there. Couldn't believe we found giardiniera (spicy relish often used on Chicago-style hot dogs) and other items there in a pinch. It's saved us from going to a much busier grocery store. We've rented their pickup truck to bring furniture to our daughter''s new place. That was a good value and rental was a snap. But there are three things that we have found not so great: 1.) Their garden section is hit-or-miss with plants, and sometimes the plants look a bit unhealthy. 2.) I wish product reviews were available on their website and app to help me decide if products I'm considering are good or not. 3.) I think the rebate system is terrible; unless you are spending a lot, sending in a rebate slip to get back 11% on a five dollar item isn't worth the postage stamp, and you aren't always guaranteed that an item has a rebate attached to it-we recently discovered that. Also the 'rebate' is store credit, so not really cash back in your pocket.
