This store is small but has most products from paint, garden tools, keys to lock boxes for rental properties. There is plenty of parking in the rear and a loading area. I usually get a good deal on lawn bags- $14 for 25 and tools for my vegetable garden. Sometimes you can get seedlings already started. I love the local conveniences of shopping small and local. Grandrising I went into the store where I was greeted by a young man who works their name kolten Diaz. When they say expect the unexpected I didn't expect for such great treatment. This is a fairly small Ace Hardware but man it is very community friendly and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. It is a very very well organized and clean store with plenty of parking. They make you feel at home! The security guard and another employee made me feel at home discussing our wonderful football team! This will definitely be my go to store for any tools and hardware I will need in the future! read more

I was on hold with another hardware store for 10 minutes waiting for them to find someone who could answer my question about mounting tvs, called ace hardware instead, and they could answer all my questions immediately and helped me get what I needed. This store opens earlier than every other Ave Hardware in Atlanta so it's where I went one morning when I needed to get some parts for my Stihl chainsaw. One there I had 2 guys helping me out, pulling it apart to identify the parts and running to retrieve them. They had me up and running in a few minutes. I wish I had more time to check out the store but I had to get back to sawing logs, ha! I'll be back! read more

I don't know what it is about Ace Hardware...do they just happen to attract friendly and knowledgeable employees? Are they trained more efficiently? I won't lie and say that I don't ever buy from those big box hardware stores, but I always feel like I'm in better hands at Ace. This Ace is in my 'hood, but for some reason, it's taken me a while to find myself here. I'm glad that I finally did. Lots of specialty drill bits and other doo-dads here that are really hard to find in the bigger retailers (odd, right?). The service is really good. I came to get a key made, and the key guy let me go about my other browsing and shopping, and delivered my key to me when the job was complete. It was a small gesture that made a big impact on me. Now I have a new place to daydream about upcoming projects and putter around in. read more

This is the greatest Ace Hardware on earth. As a general rule, I am not a fan of any chain, but Atlanta no longer boasts much of a selection. This place does not feel like a chain at all, however. Every single person that works here is immensely knowledgable about every question I have ever asked, and will additionally work hard to ensure you get the best deal. They will seriously try to talk you out of buying something if they think another product at half the price will suffice. As far as the store itself goes, it is abundantly stocked for its size, squeaky clean, and very convenient to most westside neighborhoods. It's a gem! Give them your business. There is no need to drive across town to the monstrous shopping centers on Ponce or Moreland to find a Home Depot or Lowe's. read more

Finding good customer service in Alanta,Ga. is a crap shot at best, however, this place made me feel like they actually wanted my business. Mario, greeted me at the door and asked me if I needed help with finding anything. He took me to the aisle I needed, gathered the stuff I needed and bagged it. I then asked for an afterthought item but couldn't remember the name of, Mario knew what I was looking for immediately and quoted a price before we even got to the item....nice. The associates in this store are amazing. One guy helped me figure out what size bolts I needed to put a heirloom table back together. What equated to a $2 or less purchase was treated like I was buying a lawnmower or something that yielded a much higher profit. And that was just today- every time I go there they are equally as helpful and sincere. read more

While I like the convenience and staff is helpful, i am giving two stars because the store closes early. On Wednesday, June 15, 2016, i arrived at the store at 6:48, 12 minutes before closing and an employee was rolling down the security door. I told him i needed one item and he said the register is already closed and shut and locked the door. Not the type of customer service you would expect from a neighborhood store. This is the second time that this has happened to me and I will make drive to Lowes for better selection and prices. Too bad, because I had been paying higher prices for convenience - not anymore. read more

OK SO I JUST LOVE IT IN HERE! The staff doesn't seem real because they are so nice!!!! The minute you walk through those little pushy gate things, they are soooo welcoming. They also SPECIFICALLY ask what I need and I actually appreciate and want their help unlike most store where I just want to be left alone. Everything is always so organized. There's so much space for parking. It's in a great area and they always have the little knick knacks you need even though this ACE is much smaller than others I have visited. I also love the energy the staff brings to the west end in general. They seem to really appreciate having their business there and treat every single person respectfully. The prices can be kind of high but I guess I just expect that from hardware stores anyways. It's located next to a local print shop which is also an awesome and well run establishment in the area. I cannot sing enough praises about all of my experiences at ACE though. I hope they remain there because they are so convenient and friendly. read more

I've been shopping there since they have open. And the FIRST time i had to return a can of spray anhensive the employee refused to return my money. Saying I spray it. Thats how i know the glue wasn't strong enough. Now if you buy a can of paint and it the color don't match, you can return that. same thing i only seen if it would hold on less then a 2 inch area.. I love our neighborhood Ace Hardware store they are very customer friendly, helpful and funny. Its like day and night from the big chains, you don't have to find someone the help you at Ace, they are helping you as soon as you swing through the entrance. Well stocked neat and clean with many hard to find products and get this they still Cut Glass to replace windows and they are always showing you how to save money in the process. This is hands down my favorite hardware store in the city. Though it's a chain, it still has the feel of a local community mom-and-pop, only they also have a great selection. I love living walking distance from such a great store with such knowledgeable people. They've really saved my bacon more than once by having the right part and knowing exactly where it is so that when I come in with greasy and busted knuckles, I don't spend an hour tracking down a guy in an apron to suggest where a part might be.
