I went to this location to buy some paint to repair a wall that needed to be repainted after being patched up. I took a chunk of the paint in hopes of getting a match. When I arrived at the paint section, I was told that the paint matching system might not show all of the ingredients since it sometimes doesn't read white paint well. Seeing me hesitate proceeding with the paint match, the paint associate went out of their way to go ahead and run the paint sample, knowing there was a slim chance that it would be able to identify all of its ingredients. I'm so glad that she did this because it was able to identify all of the ingredients from the paint sample. Overall, it was a really positive interaction with associate being patient and helpful! read more

This isn't my favorite Lowe's location--though I can't say I loathe it (no pun intended). Parking alone is a challenge here. The lot is tight and hectic, and I've actually had my car door hit while parked, which immediately set a negative tone for my visits. Inside, experiences with staff have been inconsistent. The front desk employees seem somewhat engaged, but not fully. On one visit, a staff member confidently directed me to an item, only for me to return and ask again--at which point they looked it up and told me it was on the opposite side of the store. Unfortunately, they still didn't have what I needed, and that scenario has happened more than once. Over time, those repeated issues led me to stop shopping at this particular location. I genuinely like the Lowe's brand overall and have had much better experiences at other stores--this one just hasn't met the same standard for me. read more

My love for visiting home improvement stores knows no bounds. As one who loves DIY and decor, and a granddaughter of a man who did carpentry in his free time, I always enjoy taking time to shop and stroll through Lowe's. On my recent visit, I was refurbishing an old wood dresser and figured I'd stop into Lowe's for the items I needed. This location is in Edgewood plaza, away from the busy shopping portion of the plaza. I love this Lowe's location because there's tonssss of parking and it's so easy to maneuver through vs. the other location nearest me. Upon entry, you immediately run into all of the fun holiday decor (they've already got Christmas items out, love it!) and the brightness of the store really just wakes you up lol. I ended up visiting twice for this project, I needed spray paint, sanding paper and drawer handles/knobs. I like to take my time to walk around the store and I'm always happy to not be asked a million times if I need help, but when you do need assistance, they're incredibly quick to help guide you. Finding everything was incredibly easy thanks to the aisle markers and I'm also a member of the MyLowes program which details where to find the items in the store as well. I did have to exchange the initial drawer handles that I purchased since they were an inch too long and the young lady working returns was so sweet, but my girl didn't know how to do an exchange, lol. Which meant I had to go to another cashier for my purchase, but it was a few extra minutes and both of the associates were patient. Heads up that they do not accept tap-to-pay or apple payment! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE Buying online referred me to the store. They had a 4th of July deal for install, warranty and haul away. Price on appliances were not any better than anywhere else, but I have their credit card, so I figured I was still getting a slightly better deal. Waited over an hour for an associate because they were trying to figure out their own system. My order also "glitched". Could not schedule. Waited over a month, even though the item was in stock. None of this would be a huge issue except that NO ONE EVER CALLS TO TELL ME ANYTHING. Multiple phone calls to understand what is going on. When item was finally installed, the installer was 1.5 hours late (after the window they "promised") and it was damaged. We will see if they do anything about it. Getting another appliance might take another month. Go to an appliance showroom in Atlanta, there are many, and they price match. At least you have someone to go to if there are issues. read more

All around terrible experience. Ordered a fridge for our home and everything about the process was horrific. Sales reps didn't understand fridge dimensions, even when I tried to explain what my home needed. Wrong fridge was sent to my home. We didn't get an actual fridge for another month. The original fridge I bought was an LG fridge with clear glass so you could see into the fridge. They told me that wasn't in stock after the purchase and that they didn't have a size to fit my townhome. We were in a new home - so we were about to have no fridge for another month. So I had to buy a mini fridge for our garage until a new one came. For the main fridge in my kitchen, I ended up purchasing a fridge I didn't care for, because they said these were the only options left. What's even crazier is, they did not care until I called multiple times and sent emails. When the new fridge came, they gave a 4 hour time range, but barely let communicated with me the day of. I was the one calling them. The whole process was unprofessional and ratchet. Especially when the customer is paying thousands of dollars. I now see why the ratings were so poor. If I knew the process was going to be look like this, I would've gone somewhere else. I purchased over $4,000 worth of appliances with them. Horrible lowes! Bought my grandmother a refrigerator in December for Christmas. The refrigerator went out 3 times after several attempts to fix it by maintenance didn't work. When I first bought the refrigerator it was placed in someone else name by an accident with lowes. Fast forward to a new refrigerator! They picked up the old one. Took a whole week to get a new one:( my 78 year old grandmother went without a refrigerator for a whole week! Called Lowe's their excuse is that the order kept getting wiped out the system! All I needed was one piece of plywood cut down. I told the guy my measurements, he repeated them back to me. Everything was fine. I paid and loaded the lumber. The next day I go to use the pieces and they aren't the right dimensions. They aren't even square! I'm not sure how they screwed up this bad. This wasn't some cheapo sheet of OSB. This was a $55 sheet of veneer'd plywood. Lumber was the only reason I still went to Lowe's. The appathy of their staff has gotten so bad that I go to Amazon for everything else. As "Lowe" as you can get. Shipping deferred 7 times and when items finally arrives, this is what arrived. No damage to the box or packaging, it appears this is what Lowe's shoved in a box and sent out to me. Update: In their efforts to hit new "Lowes", they have succeeding in a screwing up yet another order. After placing a delivery order including lumber, Lowes decided to leave the largest/heaviest pieces off the delivery order and instead tell me to go pick it up across town. Of course, they still wanted to charge a delivery fee for this "service". This Lowe's stands out only because of how bad it is compared to every other Lowe's location I have been to. The employees actively avoid interacting with customers; preferring to talk among themselves, hold personal telephone conversations and even occasionally reversing direction in an aisle when you attempt to approach one. If you are fortunate enough to corner an employee, there is only a small chance they know where/what you are looking for. They will grunt an aisle number, shrug and try to disengage as quickly as possible. They will NOT actually help you find it as they seem to have better things to do. Staff here rarely brings lumber/construction carts back inside the building, instead letting them pile up in the parking lot for customers to have to retrieve themselves and dodge them while parking. With that other major store not far away, you'd think they'd try just a tiny bit harder. In short, the only reasons to go to this location are 1) You know exactly what you need and where it is in the store (with the exception of lumber, which is so bad, you will have to discard 4 out of 5 pieces you dig through) or 2) You can't spare just a few minutes to drive 3 miles to their competitor. read more

August 5, 2020 We came here to replace a window blind that broke in the kitchen. After pulling on the cord, the plastic buckled and broke! Today's models are cordless as a result of accidents on the corded versions. A further improvement is that models are suspended by three brackets as opposed to only two. While this makes installation a little more tricky it suspends the weight on three points of contact which should help with the life of the product. On aisle 42 a friendly lady measured the old corded blind I brought in and determined I needed the 34" model. Replacing a blind is cheap too at $11. Now for the fun part. Installation! If you have to order something online just save yourself from a headache and buy it from Home Depot... after my order was 3 days past pickup date and I still hadn't received a status update from Lowe's, I decided to come to the store and ask about it. When I did they told me that they didn't see my order in their system nor in the back of the store and that they had essentially lost the box containing my item (this was 4 days after it arrived at the store via shipping). My company needed this tool for some of our upcoming jobs and this has massively delayed that. So after all that I just cancelled my order and bought the exact same thing from Home Depot. Based on past experience, what I've heard from friends and seeing other reviews, it seems like this store consistently has problems fulfilling their online orders. Just go to Home Depot, Harbor Freight or ACE because apparently sending a box thru the mail and brining it to the front of the store is too difficult for Lowe's and their staff... This Lowe's store is terrible. Two years ago, I ordered a washer and dryer that was rescheduled for delivery five times. I finally got it two months after ordering. When the delivery guys showed up, they wanted to argue with me that the w/d combo would not fit where I wanted to place it. I assured them it would. I had pre-measured everything. I had to take the door off and push the washer and dryer in myself to show them it fits. Very lazy- I think they just didn't want to do the work. Fast forward to today, I ordered a refrigerator and it was delivered last week. The delivery guys installed the doors all wrong, and one is now lower than the other. One has a difficult time closing. I call this store to get someone out to repair the fridge. I wait on hold for an hour, then I am transferred from one person to the next for another half hour. After 90 minutes of playing with these jokers I gave up. I guess I'll need to pay them a visit. Maybe an irate customer in person will get the refrigerator repaired. Answer your phones! read more

Absolutely terrible experience with this specific Lowe's #1875 location. They do not have staff in the store to place a $4k floor order, when placed, took weeks longer than expected, then further delays because the store didn't have staff to operate a forklift to get the flooring for the installers. The customer service and store managers don't answer their phone. Highly recommend you go to Home Depot or some other home store instead of dealing with this exhausting company and lack of customer service. You've lost a customer Lowe's. read more

Terrible experience! Cabinet "designer" (employed by Loews) messed up measurements on $17,000 worth of cabinet despite multiple reassurances. After delivery, it took weeks to get in touch with the managers. Turns out the same designer had similar conplaints on file from different clients. Makes me question the type of talent they hire here. After multiple calls and frequent visits to the store, they agreed to pick up the cabinets and refund me. After 3 weeks of "scheduled" pick ups where the driver never showed (had to take off work for them not to show twice), they picked them up, and am still waiting over 3 more weeks for a refund check. Inventory control is a total disaster. Once again I wasted over an hour. This time in electrical. Online shows inventory. Store computer shows inventory. No one knows where it is! My last visit, the same thing happened on plumbing. Today, the tool I wanted was available shown "9 in stock". After 30+ minutes trying to secure help, no one could find it. The in store computer showed stock as well. But, not a location. I did find the same tool as part of a kit. Why not open the kit and sell me the tool? You can replace it later when you find your stock. No! Manager wants, "meet me half way" on the price of the full kit. It's $15 vs $28. WTF! WTF! WTF! You can't even sell me the tool you have because it is not in it's own little bubble pack! This store's manager couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag. I'm adding a review of Lowes corporate. I called to enter my "customer experience" in their automated system. The computer put me on hold! Seriously. What kind of business has a computer that is too busy to interact with a person. I ordered several appliances during the Thanksgiving sale last year. Lowes pushed the delivery multiple times. Finally they were going to deliver on Mar 29, but on the 28th, they called to say they had to change the dishwasher order because it hadn't arrived with the rest of the appliances from the central facility. Since it was 1 day before the delivery, they rescheduled so everything could deliver on the same date. The new delivery was scheduled for April 18th, but only the dishwasher arrived. I called spirit logistics (who delivered for Lowes) to ask if it was still coming and they informed me the rest of the appliances were changed to delivery on Monday 22 April because the shipping paperwork wasn't correct. I was not informed of this change and had to chase them down. My delivery window for 22 Apr was set at 10AM-2PM. At 9:30 AM, I got a text saying they were finishing the stop prior to mine and on their way. These are getting delivered at a new construction home, so I do not live there. I dropped everything and rushed to the house to be available early. But the truck didn't show up - I waited the whole 4 hour window (plus the extra 30 minutes when they texted early) and called to make sure there wasn't an error. Each time I called I was assured the truck was in route. At 2:20PM, spirit called to say they were experiencing a 2 hour delay on delivery. The appliances finally arrived at 4:30PM. The gas appliance install kit was missing. Then I noticed the charge on my credit card was higher than what I had purchased the bundle for online. About $450 higher. Plus I was charged for delivery which was waived on my original order. I tried to call Lowes to correct the situation but got disconnected several times while attempting to deal with these problems. Today I drove to my local Lowes to discuss in person.... only to be informed they can't do anything about the price changes because a DIFFERENT Lowes location fulfilled the order. I ordered online!! It shouldn't matter!! So now I have to waste even more of my time, either on the phone, or driving to the fulfilling location to HOPEFULLY get some help with this situation. I will steer my friends and family away from Lowes for appliance deliveries. This has been terrible. read more

This store can't seem to help itself but stay a cluttered, unorganized mess. It gets worse and worse every visit. It's not just a matter of being mildly untidy while stock gets put away. The stock is overflowing on all of the aisles, simple things like rolls of carpet can't be put away. The lumber section is a tripping hazard, and good luck fitting a cart down any of the aisles. This store could be closed an entire month just to clean it up and I still don't think it would be enough to fix the problem. I hate shipping here because one day I'm going to step on something that's going to require 1) a tetanus shot and 2) legal intervention. If you don't mind ducking and dodging - enjoy your experience. Emptied old fridge. 8pm, 2 hours after delivery window, received an automated call to say that delivery would now be Sunday. Turned old fridge back on and restocked with ice bags to help. Sunday, called to find out status. Waited on hold for 42 minutes. Finally get to speak to an associate who tells me that my appliance is damaged and would not be delivered. I cancelled my order. I've never had a good experience with any of the Lowe's stores. recently, I tried to order a particular dryer online but couldn't. I tried ordering by phone but no one would answer in the appliance department. Finally I drove 30 minutes in traffic and went in person. I waited 20 minutes to get help, and the associate took my order and scheduled installation. When the day arrived, they delivered a washer, not a dryer. The salesperson had entered the wrong item number in the store, which was similar and the same price to the dryer. I spent 3 hours trying to resolve the issue by phone, but no one returned my calls, and based on earlier experiences of not being able to reach anyone, I gave up and reported them to 2 consumer groups. read more

Well let me start off from the first date I was dealing with All the crap Lowe's had put me through, I'm building a house and wanted to purchase things for the house, I purchased 3 toilets they said they would hold them for 100 days. I was like heck yeah.. not even 2 months they put my toilets out on the floor and one got sold. within the that time they quit selling the Mansfield toilets and went with their brand pro source. So im a little OCD and didn't want 3 different brands toile, they offered me a pro source brand and I was like Nope... this is yall fault !!! So after back and fourth for about three weeks, they finally agreed to order one from the manufacturer. And get me the right one that I had ordered in the first place so I could have three toilets in my house that was exactly the same. And then on top of that, they did not send it to my house address. They sent it to my UPS box address after telling them several times that my delivery address would be my house address. And then I go in there to buy some appliances, so I have three different orders of appliances. They decide to deliver two of the orders because they had the delivery address as my house address and the other order was on the truck, but was not my house address it was my UPS box address so they couldn't deliver that one because it was canceled and then they had to deliver the next one the next day after dealing with two weeks of this delivery dates and address. Which I had called the store, went to the store and even called the warehouse center several times and changed the address and for some reason they just could not get it right. I've had to takeoff three times for work. So if I could give them a zero star, that's what it would be. read more

I live just 1.5 miles away from Home Depot. For personal reasons, I intentionally chose not to financially support Home Depot. As a result, I travel approximately 7 miles which includes jumping on the highway for a 20-minute drive to visit the nearest Lowe's. I needed supplies for a home project and visited the website to make sure they had the items in stock, as well as the aisle and bay number BEFORE traveling to Lowe's. I arrived during the opening 6 o'clock hour, with low customer traffic, and was ready to quickly complete my shopping list. Kevin was great and had my paint matched, ready and waiting for me within 10 minutes. The website stated they had 42 items in stock. Melissa patiently browsed the aisles to find the item with no luck. Before leaving, I requesting to speak to the manager. The manager, Renee, was also unsuccessful. I explained my situation and the reason I chose to visit the store to spend my money. Renee apologized for the inconvenience. However, the customer service definitely needs improvement-especially if they want to maintain and gain loyal customers. I spent $100 dollars and left unsatisfied. The store should have assured me that they would identify a solution to prevent customers who are strategic, do research in advance to assure an item is in stock prior to visiting the store, only to eave disappointed because the item that stated a quantity of 42 were in stock could be found. This is a problem that needs to be addressed ASAP. At minimum, a discount (e.g. at least 10%) for my inconvenience and further research to address the issue would have been professional and the right steps take. Maybe I should take my business to Ace Hardware. read more
