I've had very fine hair my whole life and even with regular trims and experimenting with dozens of hair products (that promised results but actually never really ended up making much of a visible difference at all), I could never manage to get it to grow much further than just below my shoulders. My ponytail was always soooooo thin and I just got used to constantly dealing with split ends and limited styling options. In Film and TV, casting makes their choices based off of looks primarily, and as 27-year-old bald man, I felt my choices for casting were very limited and felt like had a huge impact on my career. I never tried to remedy my hair loss other than wearing hats to hide it or just shaving it all off. I did, however, recently try topical solution, and although I noticed some decrease in thinning, the hair I had lost did not come back. The hairpiece looks and feels fantastic! I barely notice I have it on and it behaves like a whole head of hair. It looks so natural that nobody who has seen my thinning hair before could tell that it is a hairpiece. The hardest thing to deal with so far is just getting used to having hair again. I saw this as false advertising as the only reason they charge local people a consultation fee as opposed to other areas where it's free, is cause you are supposed to meet with the actual doctor. I personally felt scammed by how I talked to just another consultant for most of it. If I thought there was any chance of refund then I would have asked for it cause it was very unprofessional. As for the consultation, it felt rushed like they were just trying to make a sale and my questions and concerns weren't really answered and I didn't get the vibe that they care about the patient but just about getting the surgery. Speaking of the surgery, back in 2015 when I first wanted to do a transplant but was not able to due to a year long illness, the price for FUE was 6 dollars per graft for first 2000 and 5 dollars after that. By the time I went for the consultation, it was 8 dollars for 2000 and 6 after that which is a huge increase. I need to also like and trust the doctor and I didn't get that feeling from Dr. Hasson as from the second he walked in, he looked in a bad mood and didn't seem friendly at all. Transplant is a big and expensive decision so at the very least I would have liked to feel comfortable about the whole thing but this wasn't the case here
