Picked the prime filet mignon since I wanted something more lean and she gave me the perfect cut. I also picked some lemon peppercorn butter to top my steak with. They also have a sandwich station which I will give a try at another time. I'II be back!

Displayed in a shiny cold case that is expertly manned by a friendly, informative staff, there is every cut of meat...they even have quail if you ask! They also have a deli where you can order huge, hearty, delicious sandwiches (you always want it on ciabatta since white & wheat bread won't be able to handle all the oil & vinegar, pesto, mustard) to go! These are $14 sandwiches but worth it! Our sequence of events: We ordered #4 and #6 Shopped for dinner (ribeyes, filets, asparagus, red bliss potatoes, garlic bread) Picked up our takeout sandwiches Impulsively picked up 2 bags of chips that were near the front Paid for everything at the register Finally got home to enjoy all the delicious foods we got from the Butchery!

A small quaint sized restaurant is serving up favorites like Tri-Tip with coleslaw and a baked potato is what I ordered. A strawberry watermelon limonade was refreshing in this heat and service is fast and hands on deck. I don't think I waited more than ten minutes for the tri tip dinner plate to come out, service here is pretty fast. The ambiance is casual and cool and delivered a good dinner and good time. I'm thinking to try the meatloaf sandwich next time! It's nice to not sit in a hustle and bustle type place and enjoy your dinner.

The new owner doesn't seem to care about quality and it tastes like it. The meat tasted old. There's no better way to describe it. $30 lunch for a few pork ribs and some fatty old tasting brisket ends. Not to mention they totally forgot to bring me the ribs until I reminded them. The meat had a bad taste to it, like it had gone bad or was past the point of passable but they served it anyways, maybe hoping the taste would be buried with enough bbq sauce. Well, that couldn't even cover up the bad flavor. I did ask clearly for no sour cream on my potato, which he acknowledged... and yet it came with sour cream on top. Did I complain? No. I just dealt with it as I realized it was going to be my last time there. I really didn't want to leave this review but in case the owner reads this, here is your advice. Do better. Care about the quality of your product and you will get customers. Perhaps that is why I was served old tasting meat because your turn around is not so good. Either you're going out of business and I'm going to hear about it soon, or you're going out of business and just don't realize it yet.

Always have to visit Mr BBQ in Fullerton when I visit SoCal…read more Amazing service, the waiter was quick to bring our food and refilled our waters and banchan seamlessly. The lunch price is hard to beat, what a value for $30 per person. The quality of the meat is top notch for the price. That's why they emphasize its Premium AYCE. Kimchi stew was nice and spicy, and steamed egg was perfectly cooked. There were a lot of banchan dishes and there were free refills. Salad is on the side to balance out the meat. A lot of people celebrate their birthdays at the restaurant, they put a candle on then complimentary ice cream everyone gets and you can choose a song to play as they bring out the dessert. Very fun vibe. During lunch when it's not that busy, you don't feel pressured to finish eating in 90 min. But wait times can get over 3 hours for dinner time if you arrive later.

Unfortunately, one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever had…read more I'm a big foodie and genuinely love trying new restaurants, so it's very obvious to me when a restaurant is cutting corners at the guests' expense. It was 95°F outside, and the dining room at Mr BBQ was unbearably hot. There was a sign in the waiting area mentioning the AC issue, but the waiting area was significantly cooler than the actual dining room, making it difficult to judge from the entrance just how uncomfortable it would be once seated. We were told the AC was running but that the ventilation from the grills was making the dining room hot. Regardless of the cause, we spent the entire meal sweating and feeling sick from the heat. When we finally walked outside, the 95°F outdoor air actually felt cooler than the dining room. They provided handheld fans, which was a nice gesture in theory, but the fans were visibly filthy and covered in food splatters. The bathrooms were also extremely dirty, with a sign mentioning plumbing issues. Plumbing problems don't excuse poor cleanliness. I understand that equipment issues happen, but this felt like a situation where the restaurant chose to keep operating rather than prioritize the comfort and cleanliness of its guests. For a restaurant charging what it does, that's disappointing. I will not be returning.
