We needed a repair on our driveway concrete apron, and he handled the entire project flawlessly from start to finish. Here is why we highly recommend him: Punctual & Hardworking: Mr. Jingles arrived right on time and worked tirelessly all day. Meticulous Craftsmanship: He was incredibly careful about doing things right the first time rather than rushing. The quality of the finished concrete speaks for itself. Mr. Jingles even got the color of the new concrete apron to be similar to our driveway. Value: The price he quoted to repair the driveway apron was much more attractive than the quotes we got to replace it. How long the repair will last will be the real judge, but we feel good about how things turned out. Neighbor-Friendly: He was super courteous and friendly to neighbors walking by during the job. Lightning Fast: The entire project took less than two days from start of work to finish, which even included getting final sign-off from the SF DPW Inspector without a hitch! Great Personality: Beyond his fantastic work ethic, Mr. Jingles is just a delightful person to chat with and be around. I didn't expect our discussion on art history and the use of light and shadow. :-) Thank you, Mr. Jingles!

He provided a very reasonable quote, did the work quickly, is always responsive and always followed up with inspector to make sure it passes inspection before letting us know the job is complete. Mark, Robert and crew did a new 24' x 31' garage slab for me last fall. It was complicated: lot…read moresloped south, garage floor needed to slope north, new plumbing needed to be covered but not too high, level room in back, and bathroom completely separate level with floor drain. Robert knows slopes and levels inside and out; I'm knowlegeable about construction, but I had a hard time following; I asked lots of questions, and then checked out all the lines and grades for myself. Even on the day of the pour, Robert was willing to accommodate adjustments. They told me to trust them, but concrete is one case where any mistakes are literally set in stone. And, I don't trust yelp reviews completely because most people don't know enough about construction to know if things are done right even after the fact. (I'm not the easiest person to work for.) I've done many, many concrete jobs before (foundations, retaining walls, slabs, underpinning...) but I've never had any concrete contractor as experienced, knowledgeable and particular about quality. Seeing this team work together during the pour was a thing of beauty. With concrete you have to work fast and they were like a well oiled machine. Everyone knew their part and did it. Their price was competitive and their work was above the competition by a long shot.

I hired McNulty Construction for a large construction project at my home in San Francisco. The work…read moreconsisted turning the first level crawl space into habitable space. This involved shoring the house, pouring all new foundation and retaining walls, and expanding the walls and framing. Overall, Mick (owner) and his team's work was thorough and detailed, and I would recommend him to other home owners, and consider him for my next project. 1) Mick (the owner) was the most thorough in bidding compared to other contractors. He came to the house multiple times, brought subcontractors to look at the job, and ultimately gave an estimate that was competitive and had my confidence. 2) Mick was one of the safest and most punctual contractors I have met. The work would start at the exact time every day, the work site would be thoroughly cleaned each day, and there would be high emphasis on safety (hard hats, signage, etc) 3) Mick had to communicate with an architect, three engineers, and a variety of subcontractors and he handled that very well. He was always a step ahead in seeing upcoming problems to resolve. 4) Mick was at the job site and worked with others himself each day! This raised the quality and made sure the work stayed on track. 5) the work finished on time, as previously estimated, despite the fact that the work was done during the rainy winter. 6) Most importantly, the end result was great, all inspections passed on the first try, and other contractors and subcontractors that visited the site were impressed. Thanks Mick.

I had been trying to find a drainage expert for years to help figure out some issues at my house…read morewhich is on a hill. Edelmar was the first person to really understand the problems and be able to quickly devise and implement effective solutions. I've now hired Edelmar to do a variety of work: water drainage management, retaining wall replacement, wood post replacement, and landscaping. I was actually a little bit worried when I first hired him for the first job, to replace a retaining wall, because his bid was so low. But his crew did good work. There was an insane amount of manual labor involved since the previous wall had basically been overwhelmed with dirt and buried. Several truckloads of dirt had to be disposed of... You can see one of them in the photo. He also installed foundation drainage using the Miradrain product and some base rock. When they dug out the old retaining wall, it also exposed significant amount of damaged siding and waterproofing on our adjacent house. This meant that we had to replace the waterproofing and siding on an emergency basis since it would be nearly impossible to do so once they installed the rest of the new retaining wall. One of Edelmar's brothers, experienced in this area, helped us do this work right on the spot for a fee that I considered completely reasonable. This helped establish trust. I've since hired Edelmar and team for additional work.

I appreciated that I was able to convey what I wanted and needed and that was it. I didn't have to specify brands or go through a bunch of different samples. Edelmar was able to provide everything for the job. Again, can't recommend him enough!! One other thing to note. They cleaned everything up each night they left. They washed down the walkways and sidewalk and made sure to leave everything perfectly clean.

If you Google it, you should water your cement a few times during the day so the cement dries slower and sets stronger. Juan was a great guy and so were his people.
