No email after a week, so I emailed to ask the status and was told the main extra (shock absorber post) was being shipped there and would arrive within a week, and asked me to pick it up and bring it back in when the part arrived. I wrote back that I don't drive unless I have to (medical), have never ridden an e-bike so would be transporting it home to learn to ride it, and so asked him to store it until the part was in and it was a full build. Scott accommodated, and I got a fully built PERFECT bike for me yesterday. Scott helped me load it into my SUV (a tight fit, so grateful for his help) and I shook his hand. I purchased a Striker and a Yazma from EBikePLUG in March 2026 through a salesperson named Vanessa…read more Before making the purchase, I specifically asked whether these bikes could be registered as off-road vehicles, since depending on the city and county, these bikes may be considered illegal for street use. Vanessa stated that they could be registered as off-road vehicles, and based on that information, I proceeded with the purchase. Later, my son was involved in an incident where his bike was impounded. In order to recover the bike, we were required to provide a Certificate of Origin. After contacting Vanessa multiple times, I was given the runaround with no clear answers or assistance. I eventually contacted the manufacturer directly, and the manufacturer informed me that these bikes do not qualify for a Certificate of Origin and cannot be registered as off-road vehicles. This means we were provided false or misleading information at the time of purchase. In my opinion, EBikePLUG only cares about making a profit and does not provide accurate information to customers. To this day, my calls and text messages to Vanessa have gone unanswered. There were also additional issues with this business. My son experienced a problem with the battery not charging correctly. When we brought this issue up, the technician accused him of damaging the charging connection. However, after speaking with the manufacturer, we were informed that the battery has a built-in safety feature that prevents charging while the battery is still hot after riding. The battery simply needed time to cool down before charging. This showed a serious lack of product knowledge and training from their staff. I also had issues with a bike tire repair. The inner tube was replaced once, but shortly after, the tire went flat again. I returned to have it repaired a second time, and once again the inner tube failed. I eventually took the bike to another repair shop, where the issue was properly fixed. My honest recommendation to anyone considering this business is to take your money elsewhere. Based on my experience, the company has been dishonest, unprofessional, and unreliable.

I recently took the speed machine for upgrades. Got great advice and guidance from Mark. Went from Shimano 105 to the Ultegra groupset with a Kogel Flywheel and Bottom Bracket. My first ride after the upgrades felt great! Was happy with my purchase. I went back to get Time Trial Fitted to help me maximize performance on my upcoming IronMan 70.3 event. Thank you Steve for the help! I will continue to go back for more. Can't wait to upgrade my Giant to a Canyon SpeedMax. One Day!
