I had WCD team make me 3 different kinds of shirts. Light duty Tees, heavy-duty Tees, and mechanic style button up shirts. They have lasted a long time and am still wearing them to this day, two years later, and the colors havn't faded at all. read more

Quality of work - Top notch but depends on who actually prints the shirt. Design placement/location can be VERY inconsistent. Unacceptably poor quality check. The SJ Sharks - use only 2 screeners in the bay, this place is the marginally better one Product & service choice/availability - excellent, very best graphic designs (subjective), have the technology to do discharge, index color, etc; carry nearly all brands/cloths lines (but not in stock) Non-screening services are outsourced. Customer service - impressively knowledgeable. helpful a little bit when you ask. POOR communication, say one thing do another. NEVER ever available. Missed deadlines. Value/price- for basic t-shirts (ex 2 screens on gildan) overpriced. higher end product - little above market $, better/below market $ when you buy more Return Customer? For complete "branding" program (1 stop shop) Maybe Printing - If you have graphics & know what you want hell NO burn $ like Trump just for graphic design YES Recommendations/comments: Unfortunately, you are not getting perfection. It is just apparel though. I did not make a big deal about the inconsistent quality. The trouble of dealing with them was not worth my time. Their attempt to correct an error made the items aesthetically worse, & I have to go elsewhere to fix the problem at my own expense. I wanted to get a single t-shirt printed. These guys sent me to their store down the block West Coast Signz to get it heat transfered. I had the design I wanted and brought a flash drive with the image. Handed it over to them and then came back a few hours later and picked up a SWEET t-shirt. It obviously doesn't feel like it's screened, which stinks, but is still awesome if you're only getting one t-shirt made it's pretty much the only option. I'm giving 5 stars pretty much just for the service. I'm not sure who I worked with, but he really set up everything perfectly. read more

Update: I'm so glad they did me dirty. After 10 years, I've now found a better, faster printer (Scalable Press). Much better! I did send WCD a 2nd email attempting to reconcile. I was still ignored, even as a 10 year customer who orders several times a year. Don't give them your business. There are better printers with excellent customer service. I used to LOVE Westcoast Designz! I've printed with them for over 10 years and the ink doesn't peel or fade! Unfortunately I had quality and scheduling issues throughout 2016 (I've ordered several times this year, almost every other month). I know I could resolve it in conversation with Manny, but I couldn't get a hold of him. His current designer, Joe, made excuses for his own poor scheduling. One order, he forgot to change the ink and printed all orders in the same color. Next, he charged me 4-times the usual rate for a "small order," which was small because he misprinted the first order (and he did not cover the cost to replace the blank shirts). The final straw was when I arrived for an order pick up and he didn't start my order until after 5pm, rushed the order, and messed up the gold foil. I had to use the excuse of it having a "rustic look" so that the customer would accept the faulty order :/ Joe could've informed me the day before that he couldn't get it done on time and I wouldn't have driven to San Jose to wait 4 hours for him to screw up a third order. I'm really disappointed because now I'm stuck finding a new printer :/ At any rate, good equipment, the owner, Manny, is great! But...as another customer noted this year, you might have issues. Don't expect a fast turnaround anymore. Might need 10-15 business days. I don't know if I trust Joe's word now when he promises to put a order on the schedule. I used to get orders done great in just 5 business days from them. read more

i was at Ihop with my baby enjoying my blue berry pancakes, when my husband called me. He was thrilled to share with me that he found "the guys' to print his company jackets. He immediately requested I meet him at the West Coast Company, I was so excited there was air conditioning in the office. Ahhhh with a little baby and the heat out side, need I say more. Very dissapointed with the service. I actually think it might have been a political thing. It is unfortunate, cause I get asked constantly who does our work and I do not hesitate to tell my experiences. If you didn't want to do my work, or couldn't do my work for whatever reason, you should have just said so in the beginning instead of screwing with us. The proceeds were going to a good cause. I actually ended up with a better printer who has more capabilities for large printing and doesn't charge all the extra little charges. So this was a good thing for us. I have decided I had to take my business elsewhere after several attempts. I guess these people evidently gotten to big for there pants, first was, were closed and everyone is out to lunch the second time was, were to busy, and the front door was locked, the third time was, the same as the second, front door was locked and they were too busy but I told them this was my third attempt and I'll go else where if they don't want my business, so they opened up the front door, Joseph was the person I was working with. I gave them my order for my business shirts and sweaters, but they lost logo in there system he said, so I was told to email and text the logo at which I did. I waited for a response and even tried reaching out to them for a response. I got nowhere, so I then proceeded to let them know that I will be going elsewhere for business. You may pick and choose who to do business with, but have the decency to let the customer know that your overwhelmed with work and don't want to take on anymore, don't waist my time and be rude, there's other business's out there willing to take my money and most likely at a lower rate ! read more

I have taken my sons hockey team jerseys to this shop for several years and have never been disappointed. However, this year they really earned my loyalty. I took 15 jerseys in on Monday and asked if there was any way I could have these back by Friday (I know pushing my luck). They said they could! I had to bring in another jersey, so I took it in on Wednesday. Manny told me he's been trying to get a hold of me and had called several times. He said he couldn't guarantee them being done by Friday because I had not returned his call so the job had not been started (Totally my bad, I didn't check my messages). He said he would try though. We recently went to West Coast Designz to have some shirts made for an extra special Disneyland trip. Drew and his crew were absolutely awesome! We found a logo online that had very small resolution and I did not think we would be able to use it. But the team at West Coast Designz were able to work on it to make it look great! This company just earned my business for the next few years as team mom and I will recommend them to all coaches at the next boosters meeting. This was my first time in charge of ordering sweatshirts, t-shirts and shorts. I brought in my picture and wording and within minutes Andrew had a mock up for me to approve and pricing that was much more reasonable than the first place I checked out. He quoted me a time frame that seemed reasonable. I came back the next day with a request for a rush if possible to make the order in time for girls CCS. Andrew turned it around so quickly and they looked great. But... I was not the one to please with the design...the boys and girls LOVED them. My son said his sweatshirt was the soft and warm. My boyfriend and I were getting my oil changed right next to west coast. So my boyfriend decided to go over to west coast to get prices on shirts. He came across Kevin. I was watching how kevins customer service was and I hate to say this because I like to keep things on a positive note. But Kevin was very rude and really didn't want to help my boyfriend and he even would look at my bf in a disrespectful way. He even walked away from my bf to go smoke a cigarette by his car while he was just looking at my boyfriend standing there. I was lost for word at this point. What's sad is I needed a company sticker made for my car. Company shirts man for my employees. Also shirts made for my Airsoft team along with shirts made for my big sisters women's group. And shirts for my bfs tattoo company. But after watching his behavior and how rude he is I would never want to give any business to this company just because of his disrespectful ways. But thank god for James. I'm pretty sure he seen what have happen so he came to fix the problem. He was beyond helpful and gave us info on how everything works. And even spoke of the manager and owner very highly. And recommended for us to stop by and see the manager so we can really work out a good deal on the shirts we wanted to have made. He even showed us shirts that were being made and folded at that very moment. And I looked up the bran name deff case and found some cool stuff. James also took the time to walk over to my car to look at my company logo and told me he can have another one made for me. Most ppl say bring your car to them but he was pretty awesome to say let's go look at it. Really down to earth guy and he for sure is someone you want in your business. He will make sure he keeps your business running and money also keeps coming to your business. Being rude will only push ppl away. Being very kind helpful respectful will make you want to stay with the comapany then and for the future and you will also recommend others as well. Manny and his team are simply the best! My daughter Jordan passed away at the age of 16 due to a automobile accident. I was brought to West Coast Designz by one of my daughters friends to have some stickers made in memory of my daughter. After talking with Manny not only did I have stickers made but also shirts. I was very distraught and couldn't think too clearly and so I was only able to tell Manny and his team the things that my daughter liked and enjoyed. After I left i didn't know what to expect but I had high hopes of something special because this was the last thing I would be able to do for my daughter. When Ruben sent me the proofs of the stickers and shirts I broke down in tears and couldn't believe how incredible they were!! Not only did West Coast Designz to the shirts and stickers they also made me posters for the funeral and the hand outs on cards people could keep forever (also their Idea) rather than a pamphlet that easily can be tossed aside. They also created a huge banner that was used for my daughters memorial. I cannot thank Manny and everyone at both West Coast locations. My daughter had dreams of being famous and West Coast Designz helped make that possible. I still talk to Manny this day and I consider him one of my friends. I went to alot of shops to get pricing to do vinyl sign on my work van. the first shop gave me run arounds and ended up wanting to charge me $250 more than what they quote me for three extra peices of vinyl. The second shop was giving me stories about how great they were and wanted to charge me alot. finally I went to West Coast signz. Frenchy came up and looked at my design. then he gave me a solid #. he was very reasonable, but I was just little worried if they are going to do a shady job since they are cheaper than the others. There was some miscommunication between me and west coast but we finally got the truck into their shop to do the job. I was nervous if they are going to do a good job or not. At the end of the day when I went to pickup my van I was stunt.They honestly did a perfect job. every thing was aligned better than what I thought. So disappointing!! Put together a t-shirt with design and detail and was promised that it could be accomplished but unfortunatly it wasn't. I understand leaving room for error but then lets fix the errors instead of ignoring them and stating that your company is happy with the product. We, the customers, need to be pleased with the product not the distributers. Really disappointed in the communication, and lack of professionalism, especially for the price!
