I forgot to take a picture of the sweaters but I the gift ended up being a hit! I recommend them! Note: this was for one embroidery on two sweaters. For multiple embroidery pieces and more bulk items please plan accordingly.

Our arrival was met with multiple groups of people already waiting to be helped. Don't let this discourage you, the staff works pretty quickly. Depending on how intricate the order is, the wait may be longer but I appreciate the staff not rushing customers. My advice is coming in with some screenshots of what you are in need of. The employees will give their own recommendations and adjustments that would ensure a beautifully made product. Cost is pricey but fair! Project can typically done within a day or so. These guys work quickly!! 5/5 stars. Our tees came out great and our whole group coordinated well for our Universal trip. The star details on the design were left out but the finished product was still very pretty. RANDOM TIP: I find handwashing our tees adds longevity to the print.

The design on the shirt did not come out like the mock up online and there were obvious mistakes on the shirt. I pointed them out and he took no accountability or offered any accommodations. The mock up online was fine, the transparent design he received via e-mail was fine, but it did not reflect on the shirt. It was very obviously a printing issue (which he is in charge of), but there was nothing he was willing to do or offer to make this right. He told me to just submit another order online like I would waste my time and money on that again.

The quality of their work is excellent, and some of the shirts they made for me years ago are still in great condition today. I've tried a few other companies in the past, and in my opinion, they don't even come close to the quality and service I get from Graphic Effect. Edgar, the owner, is always very responsive, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He gets everything done in a timely manner, and he always makes sure the finished product comes out looking right. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the quality of work they provide. They're conveniently located in the North Valley area of San Jose, near Independence High School. If you're looking for custom T-shirts, company uniforms, hoodies, hats, sports apparel, event shirts, or anything custom printed for your business or personal use, I highly recommend giving Graphic Effect a call. I've trusted them with my company apparel for years, and they've never disappointed me. Great quality, great service, and great people. Definitely a five-star business in my book!

When searching online not many places do embrodiery on driver caps or they were overpriced. I inquired online and got in contact with the owner Edgar. I came to the shop with the driver cap that I had purchased on Amazon and the owner Edgar said they would be able to do it for which I was excited about and for a good price. I'm so glad I was found Graphic Affect to help me out. Edgar provided his recommendations on the font, color, and design to make the names show up nicely. I have been wanting to check this place out for years because I have a large project I need for my…read morebusiness but with the mixed reviews I decided to try a small project first to test the waters. Unfortunately the customer service was not great. I felt like a huge inconvenience and received zero direction or suggestions for the small piece I brought in and the stitching ended up being put in a not ideal place which I would have loved someone to walk through with me for better placement. I asked about my larger project and also received less than zero help with that and felt like I was so annoying for even asking about it. I'm sad because it's a small town shop -potentially family owned but the vibe was really really off and just not friendly. I will not be going back for my large order and will have to find another option. Not sure what's going on in this place but I hope they read the reviews and understand that people want a good experience with staff and that we want to have fun and get more help when doing personal projects. There's also a LOT of small businesses in town who could actually use a service like this but may not go due to the lack of customer service and reviews - so I do hope they can turn things around in the future.

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2015…read more My mom's cousin, whom I call uncle passed away one month ago today. On my list of things to do during the funeral preparation was to find someone to embroider his chef jacket. His family decided on keeping his executive chef jacket, hence my needing to find a place that could do the embroidery as soon as possible on one of his other chef jackets. I turned to Yelp. I called so many places and many said it would take at least two weeks. I told each place I didn't have two weeks because my uncle was being buried within a couple of days. Almaden Alterations who my family has been going to for over 25 years highly recommended Imagination Embroidery. Imagination Embroidery was literally a God send. They were professional, compassionate, polite and thorough from start to finish. After they listened to my situation via phone they said, 'bring it over and we will have it done by 4 p.m.' They are not far from the Bee Hive Natural Foods store that my family used to shop at when I was a kid. I raced over there, explained I needed embroidery and a patch (the patch to cover a logo). Grabbed lunch, picked up family from the airport and back to the embroidered chef jacket. The embroidery was excellent quality, so was the patch work. It cost about $50 which seemed reasonable for a rush job. In my nearly eight years of writing Yelp review its great to know that good mom and pop small businesses are operating within our community. Great workmanship and sincere customer service make this a winner in my Yelp Notebook. Noelle's Notes Great workmanship Outstanding customer service
