Loc & cream chase bagel
Jasmine D.

I was in the area one morning and really wanted a breakfast bagel sandwich. Opted for the lox one, which included choice of bagel and inside had cream cheese, red onion and capers. I also ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese for my sister. Food was ok, but what really put me off was how expensive it was! Spent close to $20 for these two items and was not aware of the surcharge for using a card. No bueno. Would not likely return.

Meh. First time and probably my last. It's your basic bagel shop and extremely overpriced. I opted for the jalapeño cheddar bagel, toasted with plain cream cheese. The bagel should have been called a "sad cheese bagel" because the jalapeños were nonexistent. For the price, you can buy a whole bag of bagels at the grocery store and "Zhuzh it up" yourself. If you're in a hurry, service is great. The man working the register and making your order will rush you like he's got somewhere to be. Ha!

I've lived in the area almost my entire life and had never tried this place. It's been here at least 25 years and probably longer. Decided to stop by for a bagel and coffee today. They have a variety of bagel and a few different cream cheese options. I was also surprised to see they have breakfast and lunch sandwiches also. I went with a jalapeño cheese bagel and plain cream cheese. Bagel cost more than others, I guess because of the cheese? I also got a coffee. In total it was $7 and change (5% discount for cash). Had I used card there would've been a 4% surcharge. Seemed steep to me but bagels must be good right? Coffee is self serve and decaf was out so I asked them to make more. Decided to sit and eat while waiting for coffee. Plenty of seating for a small shop. Upon digging into the bagel I found that the jalapeños were tiny scarce pieces - I actually only saw one piece. I couldn't even taste them at all. They did put plenty of cream cheese on at least. Taste was OK. But overall, just not worth it. I'd rather go to Albertsons and get five jalapeño cheese bagels that are loaded with cheese and toppings and taste great for a price less than one here.

Bagel selection always fresh.

Hands down the best bagels. Anytime we are in town for baseball it's a must stop. I like my bagels with only butter and toasted. They serve theirs with perfect melty butter not like other places with cold butter that doesn't even melt. Nice staff and a wide variety of fresh delicious bagels.

A great spot for bagels and coffee. The dining room was large and clean with five tables inside and two outside. Being October, the inside was decorated appropriately with Halloween decorations, very cool. I was waited on by a friendly young lady who brought my order to our table when it was ready. WCB is a popular place for locals as the two girls in the back seemed to know everyone who came in. The breakfast sandwich we ordered was excellent! Quite substantial with plenty of egg,,delicious. All in all a tasty visit at West Coast Bagel.

Plenty to choose from, I really like the everything bagel. Came with plenty of cream cheese and imo, perfectly toasted. They do have sandwiches and smoothies but I will definitely be back to try. Didn't have to wait long at all, staff was friendly, very chill and quiet.

West Coast Bagels is a bagel shop near the shoppes at Chino Hills. It's located near red wings and has plenty of free parking in the lot in the complex. They also have a lot of outdoor seating as well. The people working in the restaurant are really nice. The ambiance felt a little run down and dreary, but the bagels tasted good. They make everything in front of you and cook the eggs in the microwave. The bagels were a little expensive for the quality. However, the variety and portion was nice. It's good for grabbing and going if you're craving a breakfast bagel.

Super friendly ladies and lots of bagel options! Everything seemed really fresh, though the flavor wasn't super strong. The smoothies were delicious, made with real fruit, not powder, and service was quick. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating too.

Advertised as openimg at 6:00 am, but it was closed. Updates should be made so fans know. We were visiting from out of state and have loved this bagel shop, but could not enjoy today.

Sausage, egg and provolone cheese bagel

Stopped in 30 minutes before closing last Saturday and was happy we didn't get turned away as some places sometimes do. The service was pleasant and the total for 2 bagel sandwiches and an iced coffee came to $25. My wife loved the salmon bagel and I was OK with my egg, cheese and sausage bagel. It was filling but the egg had a slight grey color to it which I feel happens when the eggs aren't as fresh. I still ate the sandwich but it def needed salt, pepper and some chili. All in all, I would definitely go back.

Busy counter and bagel display.

Over priced and bagel had no flavor. I ordered the lox and cream cheese bagel and it was the most bland bagel I have ever had.

And despite being a "small" space, there always seems to be plenty of seating, which is such a plus. This time I tried the Tiramisu Matcha. The tiramisu definitely added sweetness to the matcha. When I walked away, the barista also made a comment about the decaf drink that came across irritated. My friend had ordered a decaf beverage as well around the same time. While I was trying to focus on some work, one of the employees from the counter sat with a friend near the cashier area and they were speaking very loudly. Their conversation included comments about someone being Asian and arguing about whether someone was Black. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional to overhear that kind of conversation while sitting in the shop. I hope the staff receive some basic customer service and professionalism training, as the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the space.

It's different from your typical bagel shop, with a subtle Korean twist that makes everything feel unique. Even their plain bagel is incredible, with the perfect crisp on top. I always order the lox, and their cream cheese is hands down some of the best I've had. For sweet options, the blueberry wine and cinnamon walnut bagels are so good. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. Sometimes they even give out free pastries if you come at the right time, and they are always happy to help. Their coffee is also really solid, especially the brown sugar coffee. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. It has easily become my go to local bagel spot.

I will say I liked it more when they paired it with a side salad they had this yummy vinaigrette sauce along with it, now they just give a scoop of potato salad which wouldn't be my first choice lol so I usually leave that behind. I have tried the pastrami which is also good! Go early cause they don't have a lot of bagel options or baked goods after 11am! Italian sodas a must! Especially since I'm not a coffee drinker! The weekend brunch menu and drinks are to drool over and spectacular to have as a treat-yourself…read morekind of meal. I met up with a friend at Wara Cafe and we had the best time sipping on our Shrek Lattes and eating their Croffles. We ordered the Shrek Latte (Hot) and Shrek Latte (Cold) as our drinks, and both got the Croffle w/ Mixed Berries, Fresh Whipped Cream, Hazelnut Drizzle, and because it was the weekend and my stomach begs for brunch food, I also got their Classic Breakfast which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, side of toast, and salad. Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. If you are wondering what it is, it's like a dessert fusion breakfast item in between a croissant and a waffle pressed in a waffle iron. This makes an airy, buttery, crunchy, waffle bite, and it's got me drooling as I am typing this hungry. They pair it here with mixed berries, and their house-made fresh whipped cream. The whipped cream is another story I need to say, because I originally thought it was too much since its a size of an ice cream scoop, but I finished the whole thing and enjoyed every bite of it since it is also one of the best fresh whipped creams I have had. Just get the croffle, OK? 100% gauranteed you will love it and thank me later, please. Also, if I may convince you of another thing. If you love matcha and cinnamon, it is no doubt you will love their Shrek Latte. I read "Matcha, brown sugar, and cinnamon, as their description, and I was immediately sold. Sign me up for another Shrek Latte please, and I'll change my name to Fiona. I absolutely loved it and would order again. The staff here are also beyond friendly, and genuinely sweet. They checked on my friend and I every now and then and made sure we were taken care of. They are all so beautiful, and have such great smiles. I can see why the wait line was so long! I would come back every weekend if I were closer to Wara Cafe, but it just gives me more reason to bring another friend along and make the trip out here. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. My friend and I left with full tummies and a big smile. Thank you!
