It is a type of medication that is dangerous to go on and off of (and if you choose to stop taking it you need to ween off slowly) but they still refused refill it even though I've run out and its only been 3 months since I started it. We went there because the creams and wash weren't working in the first place. If you decide to try this practice don't waste your time with a nurse practitioner. Dr. Young really is excellent. I found out that I had skin cancer a few years ago (at 28), so I see him quite often. I have never felt so comfortable with any doctor, which is important considering you are practically naked when you get skin checks. The staff in the dermatology department are all very nice and helpful. When my biopsy came back positive, he got me in the next morning to have surgery to have the tumor removed. Dr. Young scolds me because I should be getting skin checks more often than my once a year, but its not condescending like it would be with most other doctors. It seems like it is because he really wants you to be healthy and make sure you are OK. He has also helped me with less serious issues and I have always had great results with him. I actually had some strange thing where my capillaries leak which he hasn't seen before. But he did some research on it to try to figure out what/if we needed to do anything. I would suggest him to anyone who needs to see a dermatologist. As I said previously, Dr. Young is excellent! I will continue to see him even when I moved out of Quincy.

I'll give you this the people in the front office are attractive but that has little to do with being professional as so many reviewers point out(they probably just want to get laid.) This time around they didn't want to wait till next appt to do injections and injected the day of with a clear liquid in a syringe unlike the one used before. This ones were more like diabetes syringe. So since i had to get it day of combined with how the syringe looked, who knows what was injected in me?? If he wants people to trust him, he should be more transparent with prices and not take advantage of those that are trusting good hearted positive people. Now maybe that might seem pessimistic or maybe everyone in New england is like this! But I refuse to be corrupted by such malfeasance. Don't trust this doctor and I will make a complaint with someone i know who deals with this if i don't get money back or a better injection. Disgusted!

I've been to both the medical and cosmetic side of SSSC. Medical: great. Cosmetic: poor customer…read moreservice and overall a poor experience for no results. I would not recommend doing business on that side. Medical: Dr. Saad and the team I saw for acne (for 10 years?) are great, great service and results, no complaints, deserving 4-5 stars. Dr. Saad recommended I look into laser resurfacing for acne scarring, so naturally I walked next door - to a markedly different experience deserving 1 star. Cosmetic: I spent $1800 in 2017 (a major espense at the time) on a series of three Fraxel laser treatments. Dr. Butler was friendly, I am not sure I saw results from the treatment but I knew that was a risk. However, I only wound up receiving 2 of the 3 services, I was late for service 2 and it was rescheduled, then the Dr.'s medical event meant I had to reschedule service 3 to after the summer, due to the nature of this treatment. I was fine with the medical event requiring a reschedule but I never completed the 3rd treatment (that I paid for) and I gave up trying to get their attention. The front desk staff were never great, and I emailed twice and left multiple voicemails but have not received a follow-up on these concerns. I moved to NH that fall and am no longer in the area during business hours to stop by in-person and it is to strange that I have never heard communication about this.
