The only difference, we received a prescription for a cream not covered by insurance that cost $900 dollars and we were told it could be expensive. Waist of time! We decided to go back to our Pediatrician for an oral prescription for an antibiotic or birth control. If you are looking for a first time diagnose and treatment this place may be ok but they offered no help and because we didn't see one of the doctors we were given no solution. We went there because the creams and wash weren't working in the first place. If you decide to try this practice don't waste your time with a nurse practitioner. Go to one of the doctors who can diagnose and may actually try to improve the patients skin problems

Dr. Young really is excellent. I found out that I had skin cancer a few years ago (at 28), so I see him quite often. I have never felt so comfortable with any doctor, which is important considering you are practically naked when you get skin checks. The staff in the dermatology department are all very nice and helpful. When my biopsy came back positive, he got me in the next morning to have surgery to have the tumor removed. Dr. Young scolds me because I should be getting skin checks more often than my once a year, but its not condescending like it would be with most other doctors. It seems like it is because he really wants you to be healthy and make sure you are OK. He has also helped me with less serious issues and I have always had great results with him. I actually had some strange thing where my capillaries leak which he hasn't seen before. But he did some research on it to try to figure out what/if we needed to do anything. I would suggest him to anyone who needs to see a dermatologist. As I said previously, Dr. Young is excellent! I will continue to see him even when I moved out of Quincy.

I expect a doctor (actually nurse practitioner) to be willing to have a conversation with a patient, answer reasonable questions, and explain their recommendations--not simply dismiss a patient for trying to be informed about their own healthcare. Unfortunately, this office felt more like a patient-processing factory than a professional medical practice focused on individual care.
