What a new hidden gem wine bar. WeRise Wine Bar is a new women owned bar. Came here with a group of 6 and were seated immediately. It wasn't too busy so we got right in. A few women in our group weren't drinking so they ordered non-alcoholic wine which was pretty good. I ordered a dry rose which was amazing. We also ordered the tomato mozzarella (delicious), the wings (they were okay) and the meatballs and polenta (delicious). For a wine bar the food selection is very good and good portions. Definitely a place I would come visit. Staff is truly amazing. They also offer book club and trivia nights.

Wow! I just happened by and decided to stop in this new wine bar. It's about a block or two away from the Pike Place market. I sat at the bar and had a difficult time picking out the right wine for me. The staff was super helpful asking me about what I like and landed on a great Cab, Abeja was my first glass and it was perfect. I had skipped lunch and they've got a great selection of food. I went for one of the Happy Hour specials, the Mac and Cheese and it was pretty good. The place is nice with a great ambiance close to the center of downtown. Highly recommend!

Such a great spot. Lots of cozy spots to sit and enjoy wine flights or glasses. Lots of wines to peruse. Very friendly and informative service. All the wines are produced by women and/or members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. And the wines I tried were all delicious. I had the red wine flight consisting of a Merlot, blend, cab, and Syrah, as well as a glass of the WeRise cab. The music is mostly 90's and early 00's R&B from Aaliyah to Toni Braxton to DruHill to Keyshia Cole. All in all, it's a comfortable wine lounge that also offers small bites and beer, cider, vermouth, and non-alcoholic wines. And the location is very choice.

The ambiance was amazing and cozy. Good music and lovely lighting with plush seating. The service was fabulous and the servers were all really knowledgeable and asked about allergies. The wine was fantastic and I love that they support women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ winemakers. They were out of some of the snacks so we didn't try the food unfortunately but highly recommend and will be back.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
