After ten plus years with Dr P doctors do not return phone calls and the receptionists are now giving medical advice. Receptionists are rude and if you ask for an opinion other then theirs they hang up on you. Since Dr. P is out of the office their is no oversight on office matters. I am not paying for the receptionists medical opinion and that seems to be all you get as of late! After ten wonderful years with Dr P I am considering leaving due to these issues. I am deeply saddened and hope Dr P is well. At this time you cannot speak to Dr. P rather plan on getting medical advice from the rude main receptionist as well as being blocked from having any conversation with an actual psy professional! Again Dr P is absolutely wonderful but you are no longer working with him. In short plan on getting your medical advice from the receptionist not the doctors at this time! I am deeply disappointed over losing my excellent relationship with this most wonderful doctor and I sincerely hope he is well. As of this date, several days after requesting a call from a doctor....I am still waiting! I have only had this bad experience once before from the same receptionist years ago and Dr. P addressed the matter promptly. I have worked as a mediator in the customer service field for 30 plus years and have never experienced this horrific customer service anyplace else in my life! If this review rambles a bit it is due to my being extremely disappointed in a professional service that formerly was a ten of ten and now is a one of ten. The one is Indicating the business is open. Individuals seeking comfort and guidance from a physician are now blocked from the doctors! Poor poor disrespectful service is what you recieve now. How ironic that a mental health professional office is now being handled by a rude receptionist seemingly in dire need of probation level counseling herself! Why did I write this long review over a phone call? Answer: after ten plus years of excellent professional care this office has now become the opposite! I counted on doctor P's excellent input and now I have l lost this. Dr P where are you? Please pay attention to what is happening in your former office. As it is now I believe many of your longtime clients will seek assistance from another professional. This is really sad to know that we have lost an exemplary service. I am not wasting my time calling the office in future. I will address this matter when I next see a doctor on video chat, as a return call from a doctor has not been honored. What in the world has happened? The very best of professional service has now become the very worst. I can't believe doctor P knows what is happening in his office. He would never allow these things! I am posting this in hope that he is made aware of what is happening! We are now blocked from getting word to him. Dr. P I sincerely hope you are well. Please bring your office personnel back to the world of excellence. You are deeply missed

These were forms to be completed by hand (not digital, old school) and then had to be entered manually by the receptionist. I was a new patient and it would have been nice to have completed these forms online, prior to my visit. My appointment was set for 10:00. I did not get in the back for my triage until 10:30 and did not see the Doctor until after 11:00. They do not use a digital scales or blood pressure machines. Medical devices could use some updating. They required me to have an EKG, even though I expressed that I did not want one. They told me they would not bill my insurance and that it was for internal use only and was required by the Doctor. The examining room had rules on the wall and advertising for allergy testing, with two notices to turn your phone off as well as a referral policy. No artwork. The lobby was also decorated with policies on all the walls. Although, they did have lots of brochures for services and magazines on the waiting area. Now for my visit with Dr. Alvarez... the Doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. He was warm and friendly. Dr. Alvarez gave me a thorough exam and gave me some good medical advice. He spent a fair amount of time with me, I did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone seeking a solid primary care physician.

My family have been patients of Dr. Rosen's for over 20 years…read more Coming from a medical family (both my parents were MDs, my best friend was an MD, my brother and son are both paramedics) I am very picky about which doctors we see. Not all doctors are alike- especially these days! Dr. Rosen has specialty training in internal medicine, pediatrics, and geriatrics. He has taken care of our family from the time our youngest was 2 years-old, and of my husband and myself from our 40s into our 60s. We came to him when our youngest was 2 years old. We had previously been using Pediatric Associates. Every visit was with a different doctor. Our daughter was in pre-school and was getting frequent colds and earaches, the doctors we were seeing wanted to put her on penicillin each time. I did not want her on antibiotics for a viral infection. Then I found Dr. Rosen. We used Tylenol and a heating pad to manage discomfort and got her through the next earache without antibiotics - she NEVER had another earache! She has only needed antibiotics twice in the last 20 years. I have Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. I had been prescribed Synthroid by my endocrinologist for years. I was taking the highest dose of anyone in my family, yet I still had symptoms: tired, cold, carpal tunnel, etc. In my late 30's I was prescribed Cytomel by a retired doctor friend of the family and was doing very well on that until he passed away and I couldn't get refills. I then went to the head of Endocrinology at the Cleveland Clinic, Weston. He took me off Cytomel and put me back on Synthroid- I ended up so miserable, exhausted, and freezing cold that I spent my lunch hour sleeping in my car with the A/C off - during the South Florida summer! So, I went to Dr. Rosen, who was already seeing my kids. Dr. Rosen worked with me to find a better alternative. He put me on Armour thyroid. I have been stable on a moderate dose about 10 years. These are just two examples of many I could relate. Bottom line: Dr Rosen takes the time to TALK to his patients. And he LISTENS. That is a rare thing to find in our medical system today. I feel so grateful to have a physician who practices medicine the way it should be practiced: he takes time to listen to his patients, he knows their history, he makes a diagnosis, and he uses his skills and experience to find the best solution to health issues. He is not following some rote protocol established by the FDA or a big medical corporation.
