The most amazing is his thoroughness in analysing my individual wellbeing at the moment. It seems no minor aspect excapes him ("devil's in the details"). I already knew I was being squeezed in as a favor. DR Eddy Perez Stable walked in and apologies are said. I said I totally agree visits can't be rushed. He said he is always late so I know what to expect which means I'm not on a timer when it's my turn. The visit went great for my physical, I am so happy to make him my new doctor. But I was seen first by his P.A. or Nurse Practitioner, Annie, who conducted an initial in-depth assessment, thoroughly reviewing my situation and history and asking pertinent questions. Having been aware of Dr. Chizner's training and accomplishments I expected to be a bit intimidated, but despite the white-coat-syndrome-on-steroids with all the pros in their white coats, I was comfortable with him from the start. It was interesting to see the teaching that was going on as he conducted his assessment and it was clear that he has great rapport with his students as he frequently made eye contact with them to highlight a point or observation. The bottom line is that virtually immediately he identified the likely cause of my complaints which have persisted for years. No tests, no labs, no scans. Just simply his inquiry into my symptoms and history. This after the previous usual suspects of echo's, ekgs and so on having been inflicted on me which provided no guidance into explaining my situation. Came in to see Dr. Alvarez for an annual week visit (as required by my Medicare Advantage insurance…read morecompany). I had to fill out several pages of forms prior to seeing the Doctor. These were forms to be completed by hand (not digital, old school) and then had to be entered manually by the receptionist. I was a new patient and it would have been nice to have completed these forms online, prior to my visit. My appointment was set for 10:00. I did not get in the back for my triage until 10:30 and did not see the Doctor until after 11:00. They do not use a digital scales or blood pressure machines. Medical devices could use some updating. They required me to have an EKG, even though I expressed that I did not want one. They told me they would not bill my insurance and that it was for internal use only and was required by the Doctor. The examining room had rules on the wall and advertising for allergy testing, with two notices to turn your phone off as well as a referral policy. No artwork. The lobby was also decorated with policies on all the walls. Although, they did have lots of brochures for services and magazines on the waiting area. Now for my visit with Dr. Alvarez... the Doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. He was warm and friendly. Dr. Alvarez gave me a thorough exam and gave me some good medical advice. He spent a fair amount of time with me, I did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone seeking a solid primary care physician.

I was in physical distress and Aronson was left with 3 voicemails from the nurses asking about his whereabouts. Ended up using a vacuum 10x (his notes say 3, the nurses documented 10) and ignored non-reassuring fetal vital signs for minutes. Minutes. That's a lifetime for a newborn, especially one in distress. I talk to other providers about my experience and they are appalled and shocked about the lapse in judgment and negligence Dr. Aronson demonstrated, especially for a seasoned and experienced physician. I think his ego clouded his perception of reality. The consequences of his actions significantly scarred me physically and emotionally. Needless to say, he will always remember me.
