In some cases this is great if you're sick, but can adversely affect the current appointments for that day For me, it's more important to find a doctor who will prescribe needed orders and medications than wait times. So I've just managed expectations on that front. I understand some others may feel different.

She caught something I had very early on and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have had a chance get into a program which had a very short time Window to help me.. It wasn't obviously apparent what was wrong she gave me every test she could to find out how to help me. Her entire office is so efficient so kind so empathetic and so helpful. She repeatedly did not listen when my mother tried to explain her symptoms or concerns. During today's visit, my mother was abruptly told to stop speaking, which I found incredibly disrespectful and upsetting. When I expressed serious concerns about my mother falling frequently, the response I received was dismissive--simply saying that my mother "needs to be more careful." No compassion, no curiosity, and no effort to understand what might be causing these falls. What was most disturbing was hearing my mother told, in front of her, that everything happening to her is "because she's old" and that I "need to face it." This was said without empathy, without medical explanation, and without regard for how harmful and demeaning those words can be to an elderly patient. A doctor should make patients feel heard, respected, and cared for--especially vulnerable elderly patients. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Because of this experience, I will not allow my mother to continue seeing this doctor. I hope this review helps other families make informed decisions and encourages this provider to reflect on how words, tone, and basic human compassion matter just as much as medical knowledge.
