Joseph jewelry was one out of only three places in the area that I could find that offered cutting services. You can book appointments online with them within a day. At first I talked with Tony from the Seattle location and he helped inform me Bellevue is where Danny, the one in charge of the cutting usually works. I came in without an appointment and Christine offered to help me right away. The ambience in the store is very clean, comfortable, and has good lighting. Christine took a look at my stone in great detail, helped walk me through the process of what the cutting would look like. She also got me set up with an account that they will message me on with updates. I will say with the online booking and different actions allowed through their site/my account was so refreshing. A lot of jewelry places that I contacted or reviewed initially through my research were pretty dated. They would have you submit a filled out contact form, have to leave an email hoping for a response (and a few never did respond), or call them and hope they answer. This place is definitely the opposite. Having everything so accessible and allowing customers to self-serve via their portal and website is so nice and allowed me as the customer to feel like I can take some charge of the process and what I need. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to visit for any jewelry needs! The customer service is very personable and great, they're one of the few places that I could find to cut my gemstone, and the online accessibility is so convenient. I will update once my project is actually complete, but just wanted to leave this review for now.

I cannot rave about this place enough…read more My first experience was to have a a new head & prongs on one of my rings. It was a quick turn around, 2 weeks and I felt the cost was fair. When I needed my wedding ring to have a new head & prongs i promptly went back to Joseph as I trusted their work. My original diamond was inherited and over 100 years old, I had splintered the diamond and they gave me a few options. They told me they could rehead it but it may cause the diamond to crack or break, I could replace it, or just wait to think about it. I appreciated the honesty and them taking the time to let me make a hard decision after wearing a sentimental stone for 27 years. I decided to remove my old stone and purchase a new diamond. Christine was phenomenal in assisting us, going through quality and cost and not rushing us. You have a portal you can log into to see how your item is progressing and you can message the store. I messaged them about the sizing and they responded within an hour and was able to make an adjustment. I also had a family member pass away and asked if it would be done a few days early. Christine at no charge put a rush on it and it was ready for me to pick up before I left town. I won't go anywhere else, they have my business from here on out.

Donna greeted me with a genuine warmth that told me she loves what she does. She's incredibly patient, taking the time to explain the nuances of history in the antique pieces, the metals, stones, and settings in a way that makes sense. She encouraged curiosity, inviting me to try on anything that sparked joy, no pressure--just possibilities. Brandon and Sean kept the energy high with their easy smiles and readiness to help whenever needed. The whole team made it feel less like a purchase and more like a thoughtful journey toward something meaningful. When we decided to upgrade our wedding rings, the experience only got better. I found a beautiful Art Deco piece that just fits what I was looking for perfectly. We both found pieces we love, the price was fair, and the service was flawless from start to finish. If you want a jewelry shopping experience that's educational, stress-free, and truly welcoming--where you're treated like family--this is the place to go. Five stars from us.

Brandon was the first to help us and apologized saying he didn't realize we were waiting. Again, no big deal he got right into figuring out what we had come in for. We said we wanted to look at engagement rights together and wanna see what we like and don't like cause how can you know unless you go try some on. We were then sat down with another associate, Sean. Idk if he was just looking to make only money that day but customer experience was horrible. He was asking what I was looking for I said I'm leaning towards a Dutch marquise but know they're hard to come by so I wanted to see marquise in person on my finger to get an idea if I'd like it in real life. Brandon had already laid out some marquise for me beforehand so Sean showed be them again and then talked AT me and explained what I wanted was an elongated hex... thank you, thats great to know although both are correct. He explained what cut and clarity were. Not something I was confused about but again, thanks. He pulled up some from his source and told us how much they were and it felt as if he was trying to make us leave or scare us away by mentioning the prices. Then he asked for timeline and my boyfriend didn't wanna say exactly what the timeline was in front of me and it's like a switch went off and he just wanted us out of his store. He was like okay well here's my card and lmk when you guys are ready. And then we just sat there in an awkward silence for a moment cause he dismissed us so fast we couldn't even process we were being kicked out lol. Anyway... I would not recommend coming here unless you can be perceived as being loaded, if you get what I'm saying. Horrible customer service from Sean. Brandon however, was great. Really wanted to support a jeweler local to us but I could never spend money at a place that treats their potential customers like this.

I dropped it off and less than 2 weeks later was contacted to pick it up. My experience was very good, both dropping it off and picking up the necklace. The repair was professional and well done. She made me feel very comfortable and was patient in helping me decide what size to size down to. I was debating between 4 and 3 7/8 for a long time and she advised doing a size 4 because I will eventually wear it with a wedding band, and having 2 rings apparently makes it feel tighter. So I tried on some sample wedding bands while I was there to get a feel of it, and she was right! Something I never would have known myself. Also incredibly fast service - 2 day turnaround time. When I went to pick up my ring, Lisa also let me know that I could stop by whenever to get my ring cleaned on the house. She truly cares about her clients and is happy to lend a helping hand and I so appreciate that about her! Cost was $110 pre tax, about $121 post tax.
