01/09/2022, 1:10 pm,just purchased a Crispy Chicken sandwich meal and broiled checked sandwich. Crispy chicken was extremely thin, horrible, no more than 1/4 inch thick, small piece of lettuce. When I walked into store to complain about no spoon, the staff looked at me like I was an alien. I was even standing there with my melting sundae. I asked for a tray liner or something that I could eat my sundae over (I was supposed to be driving....), and a spoon. The staff still looked at me like I had 3 heads. Then FINALLY, one of them pointed over to the condiment area. Seriously??? You couldn't hand me one from the drive thru, 2 steps from you? I finished my sundae, and went to open my S'Awesome Fried Chicken sandwich.....only to find.... dun dun dun......I got a S'Awesome BURGER...which I didn't know until well after I pulled away from the drive thru. I decided to stop for some quick lunch at this Wendy's! I came in and was greeted with a woman , I don't know her name but she was the nastiest Wendy's worker that I have ever come in contact with. Off the bat she was very short and rude with me. I've been here more times than I've checked in on Yelp- and maybe because I don't want to sully any sliver of reputation I have left. But the fact for me is that this rates in the lower 10% of all Wendy's I have ever been in. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio (home of Wendy's) and the company was smaller and I guess more picky about franchising back then. But now I seem to be more and more disappointed whenever I go into one. Too bad they don't protect their brand like Chick-Fil-A does. There was a time when you were guaranteed to find good food, well made at a fair price at any Wendy's in the region. No more. The restaurant itself was not easy to spot, nor was it a simple "on and off" the highway. Not busy, 2:30 at the drive thru. Ordered a chicken meal without mayonnaise, simple enough. My sandwich was warm, but smothered in mayo. I could have drowned there was so much of it! Next, if I'm going to be bad and have french fries, I at least want them to be good.
