There was a line of cars in the drive through and a line inside. They had 5-6 people working but seemed to not have a consistent flow to handle their customers. Lol...That's right Wendy's I know, I know Wendy's. However I am writing my review based upon ONE PARTICULAR ITEM which is the only thing I order there, and that Item is there Chili. Yes and some descent chili it actually is. Loaded with fiber, with only 200 cal and 6 grams of fat per small cup for only a buck and some change, you can't go wrong. It's tasty, filling, convient and economy friendly. As for everything else I cant say much, though there chili is worth trying. read more

My son wanted Fries. He has to also eat a cheeseburger with his fries at lunch. He cant just have an all carb lunch. The window person was so absolutely sweet. I think he was the manager. This is a very nice Wendy's with a handsome patio, nice inside atrium seating, and staff that actually looks happy to be here. It's Wendy's food of course, but I've always appreciated having the salads and baked potato options. As for the calorie counts? I live with a French Fry addict. Seriously, we get fries 2 or 3 times a week. Wendy's is his current go-to, so we've gotten pretty familiar with this joint over our summer in CA. Here are my thoughts: The plus side is that the fries are consistently hot and crisp! Whomever is in charge of the kitchen knows their stuff. Due to a mistake by a cashier, we were overcharged by a lot. Instead of $4.50, we were charged $45.00. The transaction was canceled, but it took a few days to show up on the card as canceled (-1.) But, whatever people make mistakes. We went two days ago, and the young man over the drive through asked for our order. I started to talk, and I was cut off by him talking to another customer (once again, understandable.) I had a couple more false starts before finally getting through. I won't lie, by my 4th time, I was kind of annoyed and it probably was clear from my tone. When I pulled up to the window? I was met by a sullen, angry-eyed kid. He didn't say a word to me, just shoved my bag at me and glared. Super rude (-1.) Tl;dr- The fries are always hot, but the service is cold. read more

HELLA flies. Friendly, efficient service. Good fast food. Stopped by here for a quick snack before an appointment. There was a pretty long line, but the staff here was ON it. I spent less than ten minutes in a huge line. I noticed as I was ordering that there was a big bottle of "Flying Insect Spray" behind the counter. That's never good to see in a place where you're eating. The food came out quickly, and we brought it to a table. It had been a while since I had been to a Wendy's, and they have definitely upgraded their jr bacon cheeseburgers and caesar side salads. The bacon is applewood smoked now, and the caesar comes with shaved parmesan and lemon caesar dressing. No more powdered stuff! They were both pretty good. The chili, which I know is made up of leftover stuff, was just as good as it always is-- still better than some restaurants. What ruined things for me was the crazy number of flies in the restaurant. There was a TON. Landing on people, table, food, etc. Pretty disgusting. I'd stop by again if I needed a snack, but I might take the food to go. read more

I'm a Wendy's fanatic since trying their new fries and spicy chicken nuggets! This location ranks high on my list now, too, because when 8 of us showed up very late one night and ordered a king's feast of Wendy's food, they had it ready for us within 10 or so minutes. Ordering at the drive thru took longer than that. Seriously. Sure, they probably screwed up our order by giving us more or less of something (I think we got more fries, actually, but I'm not complaining!), but the service was quick and the food was fresh!! read more

I love Wendy's salads--fresh, tasty, healthy and cheap--so I've been here a few times. This location has always been fast, friendly and efficient in my experience. I've never been inside until last week. The interior is nice, for a fast food restaurant, and clean. They also have quite a few tables outside, away from the traffic of Main Street. My only complaints are 1. It can be a pain to get in there if you are turning against the traffic on Main, 2. They shortchanged me last week by $2 (on a $7 purchase). I pointed it out and it was immediately corrected--but I will definitely be checking my change from them in future. read more

I usually don't write reviews for fast food chains. But, I wanted to give props to Wendy' great salad. I ordered a Mexican Fiesta Salad and it was probably the freshest salad I had at chain in a long time. The lettuce was green and fresh, not wilted. The cheese and tomatoes were actually tasty. If you are not familiar with the salad, it comes with L,T, Cheese and a side of sour cream, along with seasoned tortilla strips. It is also accompanied with a spicy dressing and side of chili. I also got a Toffee coffee shake which is a variation of a Frosty with Heath bar bits, yummy. The salad was about $5 which wound up to a total of $7 because of the coffee shake. It was enough to satisfy my appetite. All in all, it was a great dinner at great value.. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD..... EVER! If I could give no stars I would. I went to the Walnut Creek Wendy's on Tuesday April 7, 2020 and purchased 3 meals for myself, my niece, and my pregnant sister. The burgers had obviously been SPOILED, because my ENTIRE family got sick with food poisoning. But that's not even the worst part. After an excruciating 3 days of vomitting violently, I finally gained the strength to go back to the store on Saturday, April 11th. I spoke to the manager there who badgered me about which day I came and purchased the meal. I did not have the receipt, so based off of my bank statement I told her Wednesday. I made the report thinking that would be it. I then received a call from the DM named Lupita, who called me on EASTER SUNDAY to ask me the exact same questions I had given to the manager and to offer me coupons, instead of a refund. Being a restaurant manager myself, I take cases of food poisoning extremely seriously. As you can probably imagine, I will NEVER eat here again. Also, some serious training is needed across all managerial levels. Both the store manager, and the district manager screamed over me as I tried to express my disappointment. I am truly shocked by the lack of empathy this company has shown. A simple issue that could have been resolved by refunding me $36.16, has become a case of finger pointing, and blaming. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they have accused me lying and trying to 'coerce' them out of money. They have lost a customer for life. read more

I'm reviewing this as compared to other Wendy's. The food is the same everywhere, but man, this Wendy's sucks. This place is 0 for 10 in getting my orders right. Not once have they ever gotten it right. I always order the same exact meal, so I have a baseline for comparison. I have been given the wrong sandwich (a bacon double instead of a chicken -- what the heck?), often get my pops with heavy ice even though I specify NO ice, and when I order chicken nuggets for my dogs, I'm always given the wrong sauce. The dogs don't get the sauce, I save it for another time. -- Update -- This Wendy's redid their interior finishes and added some nifty outdoor landscaping. By nifty I mean uninspired and pretty in that safe, suburban strip mall way. I was hoping that this cosmetic change might also harbinge a service change. NOT AT ALL. They still routinely screw up part of my order and the fries here are loaded with salt like rock candy is loaded with sugar. Literally, I eat one fry and my whole body shrivels like a shrinky-dink. That's not literal. Also, I went here for dinner a few evenings ago and arrived at 10:02. They did not let me in to get dinner. Were it me, or were this Wendy's interested in customer service, they would have thought "we have six people in line and two cashiers. One more person won't be an issue. Better to make the sale than lose the customer." But no, they decided to let a customer walk away instead. Good show, worst Wendy's ever. In short, new face, still ugly. read more

Staff always professional and pleasant, the food is generally fresh and delicious. A cut above your average fast food place.

For a fast food restaurant this place has never messed up my order once. Opposed to the several times I've been to McDonald's, for either friends or family and nearly every time McDonald's gets the items ordered messed up. Wendy's has better salads than some restaurants I've dined at. If I had to choose one french fry from any fast food establishment to eat for the rest of my life Wendy's french fries would be it. The french fries here are delicious. Although sometimes you may find a softer soggy fry the majority of them are very tasty. Always perfectly salted and sometimes you get those little crispy ends that are delicious treats at the bottom of the box. I don't have anything negative to say about Wendy's or the people that work at Wendy's. Mc Donald's needs to hire people the way Wendy's does. Whatever you're doing Wendy's, you're doing it right! I love their spicy chicken nuggets! I'm kicking my self for not writing this review earlier because I cant remember the name of the young kid who took my order. He could tell you everything off the menu with out saying um, idk, not sure. He made sure to tell the people cooking that I liked a whiter part of lettuce for my sandwich. When I got my order the mixed up my spicy chicken nuggets with regular ones I told him and gave me the spicy ones and a couple pieces more. Never had such great fast food service. They got my order right (1/4 pounder with large fries) in the to go line BUT there is NO WAY the patty was a 1/4 pound. The bun was super thick. The toppings were extremely sparse... barely any tomato or onion.... I was like, "This isn't a cheeseburger!" but it was.... The Burger King slightly down the road from it has MUCH better burgers. Seems like everyone here starts their review with "why am I reviewing a Wendy's?!?" When on Yelp, do as the Yelpers do. Why am I reviewing a Wendy's you ask? Because tonight I found a finger in my chili. Wait, nevermind. Actually my trusty companion and I were craving some chicken nuggs so we stopped here to grab a little snack. He worked up quite the appetite at the dog park sniffing asses and sprinting like a midget chasing a few extra vertical inches. I don't usually eat fast-food because I value my life and I could hardly remain in such amazing shape if I ate that crap regularly. Honestly. I have two pack abs. Two packs of M&M's a day. That said, my expectations were already low, but dammit if you don't crave some nuggs every now and then. When I was a kid I used to get me some nuggs after a doctor visit because apparently that was the only thing that would make me forget that I had just been impaled with a vaccination that would NOT give me autism. This place is great. Used to come here with my grandparents all the time when I was a kid. The have renovated the place a bit and it looks great with all the new seating. Before it was table, chairs, and old carpet. Now it's diner like seating and new carpet. They have also upgrade their menu a bit. Some new stuff on there and like othere places they have the number of calories next to the food items. So if you are calorie conscious... Food is alright . I manly go there for their chocolate Frosty. A classic item on their menu. Their Frosty is delicious. It's in between ice cream and a milkshake. Not thick like icecream but not thin enough to suck through a straw. You have to eat it with a spoon. Lots of memories with this place. read more

Ordered a junior frosty and a 4pc nuggets. When I pay at the first window I inform the cashier that I have a free frosty keychain that I purchased from I heart adoptions. The lady sitting on a chair just stared at me and replied with "what do you want me to do with that?" Confused with her snarky tone, I asked if it was okay to use it? She said if I wanted two frosty and I said no I just ordered the one. She told me next time that I needed to let the person know about the free frosty before paying...I thanked her for the information but I was pretty upset with how rude she came off as if I inconvenienced her. With just a few taps on the screen she was able to process the free frosty. I usually don't enjoy writing poor reviews and I have frequented this Wendy's in the past. Usually everyone is very friendly and helpful. Was she having a bad day? Nonetheless, she should learn basic customer service before allowing her in front of anybody. read more

I like this location because of how late they're open (I believe 1 AM). I could just roll up, order my food, and be out on my way in less than 3 minutes. I like the Right Price menu which is comparable to the dollar menu at McDonalds. The service is pretty fast and the quality of the food is good (based on other fast food places). Overall I'd say that this is in my top 5 fast food places to go. read more
