Stated they were to busy to help us because they were taking drive thru orders and told us to order via the app. Cell network was unable to download app on two different peoples phones so switched to Wendy's WiFi, which also didn't work. After 10ish minutes downloading the Wendy's app we were finally able to order as we watched the staff help every Spanish speaking customer who walked in! What the heck! Won't ever go back to this location! Also watched half of all people walk in walk right back out due to the inconvenience. Pulled into the drive thru line at 7:20pm and was told they are short staffed so they are closed... The cars in front of me were served so we had to wait 10min stuck in line. They never went and out a sign up to say they are closed so more cars kept pulling in and getting stuck. Horrible management, horrible service, horrible experience. A great late night drive thru that's open until midnight, this is a good place to sate that food craving. The menu items are consistently good, and they very rarely get the order wrong. The staff is friendly, and it always seems like they want to help. The location is a bit awkward, since they're in a shopping center that only has one entrance or exit, and can be difficult to access because of the occasional crowd. When busy, the lines at Wendy's can get long and it may be a bit of a wait to actually be able to order and pick up your food, but it's always worth it. read more

The kids love the mini frostys, and tue burgers and chicken nuggets are so good, and the fries are hot! Wendy's starting closing early due to short staffing. Our daughters were very upset. This location closed early tonight. Unfortunately you don't know it's closing early until you get to the speaker to place your order which is where they have a "we're closing at 8:00" sign taped to the speaker. We had been waiting in line for at least 10 minutes just to get to the speaker to place our order when an employee said through the speaker "It's 8:01: We're closed". There were several cars in line behind us. Those people had no idea what was happening. We were trapped behind the cars who were able to place their orders and the clueless schmucks behind us who hadn't reached the speaker and the sign. The woman in the car behind us went nuts screaming and laying on her horn tryin to get the people in the cars behind her to move out of her way. Her response was extreme, but the closing situation could have been handled better. Perhaps the people who were in line before 8:00 should have been able to place their order. At the very least the sign should have been posted at the drive thru entrance or an employee should have made it clear that the store was closing before the guest was trapped in line. I understand the necessity of having to close early. I don't appreciate the way we were made aware of the revised schedule. I won't be back. read more

This restaurant is a train wreck. Their staffing issues are so bad that they often close early and/or close the dining room for the entire day. Those working are incompetent, having bagged up my most recent app order as a door dash order and not giving it to me at the window. When I called to discuss the issue the person who answered said they didn't have time to deal with me because they were busy. He suggested I cancel the order. I could not since they'd already processed it. This has not been my only problem here. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. read more

This is my after work I'm too tired to even get out of my car but I'm freakin' hungry Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers. I've only been thru the drive-thru at this one but they still rock and you're within close range to a booty bar (Jiggles) or a K-mart, no really this Wendy's shares a parking lot with a fucking K-mart. If you don't believe me that there are still K-mart's out there I think you should go to here and see it for yourself. However, I have not actually been inside of this said K-mart so it may only exist in my fantasy world, but now that I am writing about it I must go inside to find out if it is in fact a for real K-mart now. I am so done going to this location at night last time I was in the drive-through they Couldn't even hear us order because They were playing their music way too loud. So we repeated our order and they didn't even know that we had a drink even though we wanted the four for four and it does come with a drink always. The service was horrible the food wasn't even good and now that I came here by myself tonight it'll be the last time because they still can't get an order right without forgetting something even when I went back and they still forgot to put pickles on my hamburger. When I was 16, my friends and I were really annoying. Using the ruse of a scavenger hunt, we went through the drive-thru at a Wendy's and ordered all of the free stuff. Napkins, straws, water, forks, salt. I have no idea why the drive-thru staff were so nice about it, but they gave us all that free junk and just kept the line moving. Many years later, I have to say, Wendy's still has drive-thru DIALED. This Tualatin incarnation is no exception. It has recently had a face-lift, it's smack in the middle of a big empty K-Mart parking lot, and though it sounds like not everyone has had the quick and accurate service I've experienced, as far as this car goes, I've zipped right through every time. I just polished off one of their salads, and was pretty pleased to find more than one kind (read: iceberg) of lettuce in there w/chunks of apples and blue cheese and a pomegranate vinaigrette. Accompanied that sucker with a bucket of Lipton iced tea, and, of course, a chocolate (they now have vanilla, too) Frosty. So yeah, maybe I loaded up on free goods at age 16... but I can guarantee that in the sixteen years thereafter, they've more than recouped that expense from me, and will continue to do so, one speedy drive-thru after another. read more

I have been here a few times and they have usually been pretty good. However, one time I was served by the manager at the drive thru who claimed their 2 for $4 or 2 for $5 specials stopped and were no longer available. However, the next week, I go through the drive thru and the employee told me their $2 for 4 breakfast specials just stopped yesterday. I was very disappointed because I was lied to by the manager over a simple special. Needless to say, I didn't order anything and left. I like wendys just not this one On 9-20-10 at 5:54pm at I ordered a meal at the drive through. They give me a bag and say have a nice day. I got home and 1 chicken club sandwich was missing. I call the restaurant and they blamed me by saying they tried to chase me down but I was too fast so it's my fault I do not have the sandwich. Normally, Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food stops. But I have an issue with this location. Ran thru the drive thru with my friend while sort of rushed. It took forever. I can appreciate that normally, Wendy's drive thru's are slower as they make them fresh. But this was getting rediculous and the line was only growing longer. I had ordered a new item I'd never seen from Wendy's; a bacon blue cheese burger. When I got it, it was smothered in onions!!! In over 30 years of ordering bacon blue cheese burgers, I have never encountered one that had onions, unless it was included in the lettuce, tomato, onion garnish that some places add. It was like worms having an orgy on my burger! I made a comment and a sour face, making my friend laugh. He said he heard them say something about the reason for the delay was the onions. OMG, had I known they put onions on my blue chees and bacon burger, I certainly would have asked to leave them off and it would have made our experience so much faster. The worst was that because they were grilled, the sauce from the disgusting things made my burger taste oniony. I've not seen any other Wendy's offer this burger. But should I try one again, I'll know...NO ONIONS!!!! read more

Horrible, horrible service this evening. The cashier Heather did not bother to greet us or ask us if we were ready to order. Instead, she simply just stood there looking at me up and down while playing with her name tag. It took her every bit of 4 minutes to finally understand that I was there to place my order and not to have a staring contest. This girl definitely needs to be retrained on customer service or find another place of employment. I don't know if management has changed, but service is just not the same. read more

I'm pretty much an evangelist of Wendy's BUT the NEW Tualatin restaurant is at the BOTTOM of the list. A perfect example of new doesn't always equal good. My biggest complaint is that they made 80% of the parking spaces for compact cars and they are VERY small even for compact cars. Additionally, they allocated allocated almost all the rest to VanPools... WHO takes a VAN POOL to Wendy's. The remaining few spaces for REAL cars are always taken. OK... Food... I swear portions seem smaller... seriously... at least on the salads etc. Just plain Skimpy. Service is nice and the new building is nice but so was the old one. Ingress-egress. Seriously terrible. They FORCE you to go back out to the grocery store, sporting goods store and others and drive in front of them in order to get in line to get out the exit. Takes forever. Captive Audience! There's another Wendy's two exits down, and other fast food options at this exit and the next exit down... I think we're going to try those... this one is just too much trouble... They have amazing customer service. My friend had forgotten to ask for no bacon and the manager (I didn't grab his name but he is blonde) made him a new one and even offered to make it a double stack. Those little things really go a long way. read more
