The incompetence here is... astounding. They don't know how to use their system. They don't know how to use the coupons. They scan your coupons and then the price doesn't change... They don't understand what you're saying at the order box. We repeated our order three times, and ironically it was still wrong at the window. Your district or regional managers need to visit this store and re-educate these employees on the bare minimum needed to get orders correct. It sucks that the dining room does not open until 9am. Tried to place an order through drive-through and nobody would help me. Yeah I know you're not supposed to walk through drive-through but we walked all the way to Wendy's so we didn't have a car. Stood there for like 5 mins. Stupid that its the same food. Between 10:40-10:45pm, I visited their Drive Thru and simply asked if they had Chocolate Frosties (given, this was also one of the hottest days in Torrance this year). The employee quickly responded back in a rude tone, saying No. I then looked towards another Dessert on their Menu and asked if they had Frosti-ccinno's.. she then responded back with an even more upset tone and said No again. Didn't give any reason/explanation to why they weren't available. Just quickly said No and stayed quiet after that. I frequently visit this location and never have I gotten such a rude experience, not sure if she just was being lazy and didn't wanna work the machine or if she just was looking forward to be off. Gloria = RUDE!!! We love Wendy's! I was at the drive-through with the large order waiting for my food. She must've been training someone at the window because she seemed a little flustered. But because of that, she was being rude to the customer. She did not address me one time. It was like I wasn't even there. She was talking to the girl that was new, telling her what to put in what bag as she just threw the bag in my face. After giving me three bags of food, without saying anything she just walks off. I'm still sitting there because they never gave me my drink. Finally, the new girl sees that I'm still sitting there so she tells her and Gloria comes to the window, so I tell her I'm still waiting for my lemonade. She doesn't say oh I'm sorry I thought we gave you everything or here you go as she handed me the drink. She puts the lemonade 6 inches out from the window and doesn't say a single word. She was barely out the window that I wasn't even sure she was ready to hand it to me. And finally she asked me it's your lemonade right? Like why am I not taking it? But I couldn't barely reach it. This is a typical Wendy's but service is definitely slow. I have gone through the drive thru many times at off peak times like 10 PM. As others mentioned the staff are clueless about coupons or other discounts. It's nice inside and the dining area is kept very clean usually. They have improved but still need more training in improving speed of service. read more

Slowest speed Lowest order accuracy Worst service I've been coming to this Wendy's at least twice a month since it opened and it's always been the worst Wendy's I've been to, but never as bad as today. There were only 2 cars in front of me but it took 8 minutes to take those 2 orders. When I pulled up to the speaker the employee greeted me as a sir then corrected himself after to ma'am as I am very clearly a woman. I was annoyed but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him take my order. There were a lot of long pauses and cutting in and out of the mic while he was talking and his taking my order took way longer than needed. When I got to the window he didn't apologize or mention anything about misgendering me and on top of that he wasn't friendly or welcoming at all and he didn't ask if I needed ketchup or other sauces. When I got home and started eating, the first bite I took I bit into a pickle so I checked my receipt and although he accurately rang up no pickles, whoever put together my burger loaded it with pickles. The fries were barely warm. I've never had such a disappointing meal from Wendy's before today. For the record I'm a CIS woman, not transgender or nonbinary, but there are many people who are and misgendering is the most disrespectful thing you can do. Brand new location. 1st time I entered, it was filled with a smokey haze from the grille and is about 15 degrees too warm. Went back today. Again, hazy & uncomfortably warm. Had to take my meal OUTSIDE & eat in my vehicle because it is so miserably warm. Also, they use glass wall to cut down on construction costs, so whereever you sit, the sun will be in your face and it adds to the uncomfortable warmth. I will only be going to the drive through. It has SEVERE VENTILATION problem and the employees should look into OSHA violations. A week later, I only use the drivee through. It's miserably uncomfortable inside. read more

Truly a pathetic attempt at fast food service. I pulled up to the cashier window. After a couple minutes a guy came up and told me the price of my basic burger and fries was $8.63. I paid him with a $20 and 63 cents. After two minutes of obvious confusion he gave me back $11.00 and a couple of quarters. I pointed out that I had given him a $20 bill, a quarter, three dimes, a nickel and three pennies. I walked him through the math "problem" and he eventually admitted that I had given him $20.63 and gave me correct change. Come on, man, this is basic second grade subtraction. It's not that difficult. Pulled up to the next window where, after a couple minutes spent stocking the straw container, another employee said "here's your two lemonades." I actually had to argue to convince him that I ordered a hamburger and fries, not two lemonades. He went back to stocking the straw container. After a couple more minutes another employee came up with my actual order. Perhaps the ultimate is that Wendy's posts a website on their window that one can contact to report the quality of the service. But it's set up so that you can't report unless you enter the store number listed on the receipt. I wasn't given a receipt so how in the hell would I have that information? It's not listed on their website either. So the only way to let them know is through Yelp, presuming they actually read it. The entire crew seemed to be sleepwalking. I worked at McDonald's many years ago and would have been embarrassed (and possibly fired) for such lousy service. read more

I just love this location from the day they opened up every time I come it's a pleasant experience fresh food especially fresh coffee that's hard to find these days I remember one time getting a loop one coffee and the girl asked me just to wait a minute and brought me a fresh hot one just made. I never come to Wendy's but saw an ad for the peppermint frosty and thought it would be a fun treat. I will never come back to this location if I ever decide to get Wendy's again. I only dealt with one woman (there was a gentleman who handed me my food but he was very kind) and her attitude was simply awful. I said thank you multiple times and she never responded to me once. They got my order wrong (gave me a chocolate frosty instead of peppermint and forgot utensils). I work in retail which is different than food service but it's still customer service based and I would never ever treat customers like this. I understand things can be frustrating but you should never take it out on a customer (especially one that's not even giving you a hard time). The entire experience was just awful. I should have read the reviews prior to coming here and I hope their corporate office listens to the complaints and hires new people who are much kinder at heart. I could see through the lid it was very light in color so I asked, "Is this chocolate? Because I ordered chocolate" They assured me it was. When I tasted it, it had no noticeable flavor whatsoever.
