Yes ... I know you are doing a double take because this chain restaurant is getting a star above my fast food chain star maximum. The reason .... SERVICE!! Top notch over the top care for the customer from each smiling team member. I am sitting here watching the interactions with senior citizens and families with a desire to stand up and applaud!!! While in line one staff member mispronounced a customer's name and quickly apologized with the two women laughing together (Imagine that, a fast food worker and a customer laughing together ... it just too quality customer comes first service!). This Wendy's also supports community organizations by sharing the wealth!! It says something special about a management team when they stand up to say WE ARE OUR COMMUNITY especially for a fast food joint more attuned to just passing out the food. As for the food ... chili was served steamy hot, which was just right. The BBQ chicken salad was fresh & tasty. It was obvious food was being assembled here because customers were allowed to sit and staff members delivered food with a smile, So, yea there is no Chef Wendy back in the kitchen using her unique to West Deptford recipes for her customers. And, the chili here tastes like the chili in LA. It is a factory creation but I have noticed the signage that is pushing fresh quality so perhaps Wendy's is positioning themselves to be the new number one. I just cannot rate a chain fast food restaurant higher than this ... Wendy's food and their customer service have gotten worse by the month. I stop by this particular Wendy's maybe once a month and there is always something that affects my order. Either they are out of something, the soda dispenser doesn't work, the receipt printer is broken, or the paper cup holder collapsed as it was being pushed through my window spilling 3 cups of soda all over me and the car (thankfully it was sugar-free). Their workers that seem annoyed at any request, cold hashbrowns fries, nasty breakfast sandwiches... This Wendy's is not worth the wait either. Sorry Wendy's - this time its good bye. This Wendy's is absolutely the worst Wendy's I have ever experienced in my life. I like the Wendy's food in general it's good food,however about 10 out of the 10 times I've been to this one specific Wendy's in the past two years the drive threw easily takes 15-20 mins or more given the line isn't wrapped around the whole building which it does since they are so slow. Every one of my friends in the area who are familiar with this exact Wendy's, agree it's the worst Wendy's ever for customer service. Today I ordered 6$ worth of food waited forever as usual and was charged over 15$ now that I later checked my credit card records. They told us we needed to go to the side and wait for the food and it was fine. There was 2 cars on either side of us waiting for food as well. I've seen videos and her stories by have never once experience the bed drive through experience until tonight. I went to the Wendy's in West Deptford next to Wawa and right off the bat. I knew there was gonna be a problem because the woman that was working had a nasty attitude at the drive-through speaker and I got a chicken sandwich and when I got home, the chicken was so burnt that it was black, so I took the food back to the drive-through because it was one of the expensive sandwiches, and when I tell the lady at the speaker I was here because my food was burnt, she had a nasty attitude and told me to come to the window after I did that she then proceeds to ask for my food and took the sandwich and examined it in front of me. She then tells me it was made correctly to which I say no it was not, and then she looks at me and goes well, You ate half of it I did not I in fact only took one bite of it and realised it was like eating cardboard and then wait five long minutes in the drive-through window, waiting for them to bring me a new sandwich and when my sandwich was brought to me it was brought by a young guy and he literally threw the bag at me and told me to have a good night. I have never wanted to jump through a drive-through window and strangle the life out of somebody so bad in my life. I am so mad that these drive-through employees can be so ignorant like I get there tired and all, but when you look at the pay that they're getting I really don't care that Wendy's will be lucky if I ever go back there again!!!!!!! read more

"Food making was disorganized and slow!" - I can immediately assure you that in the time this review has come out from the previous ones, that it does not seem that way anymore. They have a whole new wave of workers now. "They forgot my [insert small and insignificant item]!" - bruh. I got mad because they forget my straw every time, then I realized that when you're in there, the straws are RIGHT behind you next to ALL the other condiments and small things. They expect you to at least grab one on your way out. My ONLY gripe is that they put too much ice in the drinks. It's water by the time I come back to it 10 minutes later.
