I just want to start that I love Wendy's and before today I never really had a problem. That being said tonight was just awful. We ordered at the drive thru just to drive up to the window to reorder our food. After reordering our food we still got the wrong food. On top of that the chili was too hot and I mean dangerously too hot. I waited 20 mins and still it was way too hot. I am happy to get hot chili but my mouth is horrible burned and I couldn't enjoy it till an hour later when it finally cooled off enough to eat. I wish I was joking. The picture above shows chili at Wendy's at the 303 and Bell road at one inch below the top. When confronting the manager about shorting me so much Chili the manager stated that it was their company policy to fill the chili one inch below the top. I purchased the chili twice and twice it was one inch below which I consider ridiculous. Why make the cup the size it is if your going to fill it half way. For three dollars I think Wendy's should fill the cup almost to the top of the size of the cup. If this were the policy then why doesn't this policy apply to a hamburger. Give three quarters of a hamburger and fill the soda cup half way as well. Do everything this way and see how long your in business. So Goofy! Just recently stopped off on my way home from work, called mama if she wanted anything for lunch? So she thought be a good idea to get Wendy's. I ordered Three cheeseburgers, order of chicken nuggets, and two large fries. I had the nuggets, it was ok. Not great? I would rather have them at chick fl'a instead. Girls had no problem mowing down the burgers, including the wife. Fries were actually good, forgot to tell them no salt. But it wasn't that much salt anyways. Don't Go to this location on Bell in Sun City, AZ. Customer Service and quality of food is down right terrible, no respect for customers at all. My experience was horrible. I arrive at 10pm, to place an order through the drive through and I waited over 10 minutes with no one communicating with me at all, so I drove up to the window to ask if they where still open. The rep. looked at me and pointed at the sign rudely pointed at the sign stating that they was close but granite I stayed at the drive-through to order for over 10 minutes with no one communicating stating they was close. My fiance and I got two combo meals and while my fiance was half way through his burger he noticed that the cheese still had the PAPER attached to it. He wasn't gonna complain or argue, just wanted a new burger but as he explains to the girls working, they ALL started laughing at him. I will never go to this Wendy's again. They literally got every single part of my order wrong except for the drink. I drove through about 15 minutes before close. Not unreasonably last minute. But everything looked shut down. I ordered a burger with no bun because I have a wheat intolerance. Right away the person taking my order seemed baffled. "No fries?" "No, no bun." Ok. I tried to order a broccoli cheese potato because I know some Wendy's have this or use to have it, but they said they only had sour cream and chive or chili cheese. No problem, I'll take chili cheese. Then a Jr. chocolate frosty. The first thing he handed me was the frosty. It was vanilla. I had to wait until the order was finished about 5 minutes later before I was able to speak to him again and request a chocolate instead. Then I glanced in my bag of food and the burger clearly had a bun. Okay I can't just remove the bun, because just the contact with the burger is enough for a reaction. But honestly I was too afraid to ask them to remake it because by this time they were about 5 minutes till close and I was afraid they'd spit in it or something. I'll just give it to my husband and the potato will be my dinner. Then I got back to my hotel, got out the potato (with no fork or utensil) and it was a CHIVE potato. No chili or cheese. Absolutely no stars for this location. My family and I go to this location about once a week. Our family had just gotten off a 6 hour flight from our honeymoon and we just wanted something quick to eat before we called it an evening as it was already 10pm by the time we hit the drive thru. There were about 5 kids working that evening none over the age of maybe 20 and as we placed our order they said it would be a 6 minute wait on the spicy chicken sandwich I ordered. Even though it was beyond frustrating we said ok because again at this point we're starving and to top things off I'm 5 months pregnant so I was willing to wait. We pull up to the window and hand the kid cash to which he responds he doesn't have proper change so could I scrounge your the exact amount. Fine whatever, we do that. He then says pull around to the front and they will bring us our order. 15 minutes later they come out and bring our food. I checked my sandwich because they always seem to forget to add cheese even though they charge you for it. And what do you know, no cheese. So my husband proceeds to go in and get the cheese which is rudely given to him by whatever kid was managing the night shift. So we get home only to find out that the 4 for 4 orders we placed for my husband and our daughter didn't even have the chicken nuggets. At this point it is what it is because we were so frustrated with the service to begin with that we had no energy to drive back and complain. As we ate what food we got I noticed halfway through that my chicken sandwich was really chewy and even soggy in some areas so I ditched it and went to bed. My husband called shortly after because we wanted a refund to which the kid who answered the phone said he would be happy to do so tomorrow. Fast forward to the next morning, no sooner am I up trying to unpack and get organized to go back to work that I'm hit with a wave of diarrhea. My first thought was maybe just stress from the plane but as the day progressed and my symptoms got worse and I continued to be in agony over the toilet unable to even get out of bed unless to get to the bathroom, I realized these are symptoms of food poisoning or some sort of food born illness. I called my OBGYN to which she confirmed it sounded like food poisoning. My husband then went down in person to this establishment and talked to another manager on duty about the situation and was told he could just get his refund and be on his way. This manager on duty literally told him that food poisoning takes 3-5 days to show up!!!! Are you kidding me. You're a manager in the food industry. Not to mention the fact your insinuating my husband was lying over this is simply ridiculous. At this point forget the $20 we spent, it's your lack of concern for the food your serving to the general public that's alarming. This location primarily serves the elderly so you think they would be more aware that elderly and pregnant women are highly susceptible to food born illness. My husband then asked for the district manager's number so she wrote it on a piece of paper and gave it to him. This was now a Sunday evening at about 5pm that my husband called the number. At 830pm the number called back. The person on the other line simply just said hey this is Steve, so my husband asked if he listened to his messages and Steve replied, no. So at this point we are both so beyond frustrated with everything. My husband tells "Steve" about our experience and that the only resolution was to remake our order or a gift card. Which we could care less about. Steve then says, well yea that's all I can do and then starts mumbling as if he's high or drunk so my husband and I look at each other like we just got punk'd. It's very hard to believe that this person on the other line was a district manager calling us back so late on a Sunday evening and would be so unprofessional. So now at this point this whole establishment has mad a mockery of our experience. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Your customer service is bull. The fact you could care less about the fact you put me and my unborn child is danger should be grounds for termination. I don't care about the $20. I care about the fact you think it's a joke and went through the motions of giving a fake number of your district manager. Do you have any idea the liability you could face if my child is affected by your lack of universal precautions? Or if my child dies because they find a food born illness that affects the fetus. I hope you all face the consequences of your actions. As this doesn't stop here. I will report you to the better business bureau and file a formal complaint with the health department. You will not get away with your actions and disregard for the health of myself, my unborn child and my family. read more

I had a baked potato around noon with a small bacon cheeseburger. The potato was perfect as they always are. The burger was cooked right but not much flavor. I, like many of your customers I'm sure, reside across the street in Sun City West. I patronize the restaurant 2 to 4 times a week and appreciate the courteous 10% discount to seniors. It is not so much a financial issue as the courtesy. I almost always order the same thing so normally the price is the same. One exception is an employee named Christopher. I noticed several times that he did not extend the courtesy and when I queried him about it, his cavalier response was "oh, I always forget that". Because I never know when this disrespectful employee is going to be there, I have decided just not to go anytime. read more
