Waited 5 minutes (with no one in front of me) to place my order, followed by 20-minute wait for the food to be ready. On top of that, my salad was missing an ingredient. Drive-through was clearly the priority over dine-in, but those customers were complaining too. I'm sorry they were short-handed, but I've had similar experiences at other Wendy's, so I'm scratching Wendy's off my list of fast-food choices going forward. read more

This is the worst fast food service I have ever experienced! The service was HORRIBLE! We went through the drive-thru and it took 25 minutes to get a single sandwich and a double sandwich. There was only 1 other order being placed inside at the time and this was 9:00 PM. Do not ever go there! We will never go to this restaurant when we are in Staunton again!! And the server was extremely rude shutting the window in our face and not saying a word - no apology, a thank you, nothing - when she handed us the 2 sandwiches. read more

My daughters and I stop per at Wendy's on our journey from MS to our homes in PA on Monday in VA. The food was delicious. It made me remember the old advertisements where everyone in the place would wipe after every bite. The service was wonderful and the Wendy's hamburger was delicious. The facility was very clean. read more

Rude ignorant people STAY AWAY!!! The person at the window and on the speaker is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. I have been thru here before and she was exactly the same. She has a broken hand and looks at customers in disgust as well as if we are imposing on her. I will not return to this location again. The parking lot has trash all over the ground including directly under the drive up window. DO BETTER!!! read more

Don't go there especially not for breakfast. Tried to stop there this morning and the breakfast menu wasn't up and they refused to take the order from speaker - only at the window. All the young men working there were standing around hands in pockets like they didn't know they served breakfast and maybe they really don't! The lights weren't on in the restaurant (seems like they weren't expecting guests). It took about 20 minutes to get cold food and that made no sense given I was the only one there! I would say I've never seen such lazy employees but unfortunately it seems to be a bigger epidemic than Covid! Go to the Burger King on Greenville Ave for breakfast - the people are nice and the food is good and they seem to be interested in both being open, working and serving you - plus the have ketchup and pepper and put napkins in your bag! I'm very frustrated with service at places like this and the food is no longer inexpensive or good. Go to one of the sit-down places and call ahead to pick up your order if you are in a hurry. The food will be better and about the same price or less without the frustration. read more

This place has a lot of issues. They are very weird about giving out sauces here for some reason. The first time I requested honey mustard at the window and they refused to give it to me, even if I paid extra. They insisted that sauce must be ordered at the speaker. The next time, I asked for ketchup at the window, and they also would not give it to me because I did not order it at the speaker. So if you want sauce make sure to order it right away or you will be denied. Also, the food was bad. read more

04/05/2022 Greenville ave location. Spent 42 min in drive through for a simple order. Was told lack of help. Attempting to get dinner at 4:30pm after picking up wife after medical treatment. Never again. Verona location a lot quicker and more dependable. 2 stars only because the food was good as expected. read more

Brittany is the best worker you have. From making me feel welcomed to ordering my food she was amazing. Keep her forever. Staunton wouldn't be the same without. read more

Ran out of bacon. How does that happen . Rudest manager ever who didn't even know the front guys name. Driest burger I've ever had also. And fries cold . Not sure how this place has customers. read more

We are on a road trip and we're passing by. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Quick and friendly service.

Terrible customer service, cold food and slow service!!!! I used to like Wendy's but this location is terrible and has been for over a year! Last three times I have been there they have either been out of something (like CHEESE! How does a hamburger joint run out of cheese!) gotten my order wrong, or I was given cold food. I did not go for over six months thinking that it was a bad management situation at this store but apparently not. I went Sunday and the same issues! They were out of containers for chili, the fries were cold and the meat on my burger was cold and dried out! Looks like Wendy's doesn't care about customers anymore! Now serving breakfast! They can't get lunch or dinner right and now they add breakfast! No thanks! Just something else they will screw up!! read more

Front staff was awful rude and had an attitude told me there was no baked potatoes which was fine but had an attitude about the most simplest thing a pack of mustard told me there was none with an attitude but they do it's in a cup which you have to ask for just awful staff food was ok but don't recommend this location wish I kne w the name of the staff never going to this Wendy's again good job wish I had the workers name. read more

Okay, so today I wanted some baconator fries from Wendy's. When I opened the container, I noticed two types of cheese, the liquid kind and shredded cheddar. After looking closer, the shredded cheese had mold on it. After my husband took it back in, he was told it was a mix up with blue cheese and they made a new batch of fries after which did NOT contain the shredded cheddar cheese on it only the liquid type. Never again, will I stop here for anything. Ps. I clearly know the what moldy cheese looks like. Won't give them a third try. read more

Worst service. Forgot My cheeseburger and I had to go through the long drive through line again just to get it because the inside is closed and there's no way to get through to read more

Complete shit. Cold burger, no bacon? No drink carriers. How does this even happen. Worst service ever. Will not be wasting my time going there again. read more

Received the wrong order, got all the way back to work, then no one answered the phone, took it back because I was hungry and received a half ass son-of-a-baconator, that was raw. Poorest business in the city of Staunton and the employees play too much instead of taking care of customers. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I created a yelp account just to leave this review. I literally sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes if not more. The people who work here are rude and very unpleasant. They weren't even busy probably three cars total waiting the kid at the window acted as tho there were 50 and tried to rush me after I've waited this long. I didn't even get a chance to ask for sauce before the window closed. I love Wendy's fries but I will never come back to this location... horrible experience. read more

Disappointing. I can usually count on Wendys for an OK meal. Not this location. Workers have an attitude, even when they're not busy. Double burger with cheese tasted like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. Barely any lettuce but overflowing with sauce. What a mess. Baked potato was barely cooked. Couldnt cut into it. Ended up throwing it out. Never going back to this location. read more

I went there today to get dinner for my family. The manager got mad at me because I would not change my order. The order was for a summer salad. The reason was they have to cook the chicken. I was told seeing how I would not chang my order I would have to wait 40 min. After some heated decision. I drove off with out all of my salads. I came back to reingage with the manager. He sent the fry cook out. Who at this point thought this was total his fault. I have no respect for this person who claimed to being a manager, and his side kick girl friend. I have called his Corporate headquarters. I suggested that anyone who treats his employee this bad should be Fired. As for the way the hole staff treated me, well I feel that they all should be fired as well. Hell after all was said I asked for my money back for the food I did not receive and they refused that. So Wendy clean house except for the cook read more

Slowest service I've ever experienced in a Wendy's. Only 5 customers in line. Took them an average of 6 mins per customer(I timed it) to get the orders out. I ordered mine at 340pm and I'm still waiting. Staff seemed overwhelmed or perhaps understaffed. Not sure but difinitely not read more

Absolute trash. The service was slow and a majority of the employees seemed slumped. I bought the "$5 biggie bag" and it was inedible, the bacon on the burger had the consistency of beef jerky, the grease on the lower bun had a greenish hue, and the pickles were completely white, and literally tasted like chemicals. The fries and nuggets were cold, and they forgot the ketchup and sauce that I asked for. Even the coke was watered down and flat, and they forgot the straw as well. read more

I will have to give this place a five star because their hamburgers are FANTASTIC I am very happy and the store is very clean and the service was great! read more
