My daughters and I stop per at Wendy's on our journey from MS to our homes in PA on Monday in VA. The food was delicious. Rude ignorant people STAY AWAY!!! The person at the window and on the speaker is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. I have been thru here before and she was exactly the same. She has a broken hand and looks at customers in disgust as well as if we are imposing on her. I will not return to this location again. Don't go there especially not for breakfast. Tried to stop there this morning and the breakfast menu wasn't up and they refused to take the order from speaker - only at the window. All the young men working there were standing around hands in pockets like they didn't know they served breakfast and maybe they really don't! The lights weren't on in the restaurant (seems like they weren't expecting guests). It took about 20 minutes to get cold food and that made no sense given I was the only one there! I would say I've never seen such lazy employees but unfortunately it seems to be a bigger epidemic than Covid! Go to the Burger King on Greenville Ave for breakfast - the people are nice and the food is good and they seem to be interested in both being open, working and serving you - plus the have ketchup and pepper and put napkins in your bag! I'm very frustrated with service at places like this and the food is no longer inexpensive or good. Go to one of the sit-down places and call ahead to pick up your order if you are in a hurry. This place has a lot of issues. They are very weird about giving out sauces here for some reason. The first time I requested honey mustard at the window and they refused to give it to me, even if I paid extra. They insisted that sauce must be ordered at the speaker. The next time, I asked for ketchup at the window, and they also would not give it to me because I did not order it at the speaker. So if you want sauce make sure to order it right away or you will be denied. Also, the food was bad. read more

04/05/2022 Greenville ave location. Spent 42 min in drive through for a simple order. Was told lack of help. Attempting to get dinner at 4:30pm after picking up wife after medical treatment. Terrible customer service, cold food and slow service!!!! I used to like Wendy's but this location is terrible and has been for over a year! Last three times I have been there they have either been out of something (like CHEESE! How does a hamburger joint run out of cheese!) gotten my order wrong, or I was given cold food. I did not go for over six months thinking that it was a bad management situation at this store but apparently not. I went Sunday and the same issues! They were out of containers for chili, the fries were cold and the meat on my burger was cold and dried out! Looks like Wendy's doesn't care about customers anymore! Now serving breakfast! Okay, so today I wanted some baconator fries from Wendy's. When I opened the container, I noticed two types of cheese, the liquid kind and shredded cheddar. After looking closer, the shredded cheese had mold on it. After my husband took it back in, he was told it was a mix up with blue cheese and they made a new batch of fries after which did NOT contain the shredded cheddar cheese on it only the liquid type. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I created a yelp account just to leave this review. I literally sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes if not more. The people who work here are rude and very unpleasant. They weren't even busy probably three cars total waiting the kid at the window acted as tho there were 50 and tried to rush me after I've waited this long. Disappointing. I can usually count on Wendys for an OK meal. Not this location. Workers have an attitude, even when they're not busy. I went there today to get dinner for my family. The manager got mad at me because I would not change my order. The order was for a summer salad. The reason was they have to cook the chicken. I was told seeing how I would not chang my order I would have to wait 40 min. After some heated decision. I drove off with out all of my salads. I came back to reingage with the manager. He sent the fry cook out. Who at this point thought this was total his fault. I have no respect for this person who claimed to being a manager, and his side kick girl friend. I have called his Corporate headquarters. I suggested that anyone who treats his employee this bad should be Fired. Absolute trash. The service was slow and a majority of the employees seemed slumped. I bought the "$5 biggie bag" and it was inedible, the bacon on the burger had the consistency of beef jerky, the grease on the lower bun had a greenish hue, and the pickles were completely white, and literally tasted like chemicals. The fries and nuggets were cold, and they forgot the ketchup and sauce that I asked for. Even the coke was watered down and flat, and they forgot the straw as well. read more
