The customer service here was extremely rude and unprofessional. We accidentally missed the drive-through while picking up an order, and instead of offering any reasonable solution, we were simply told to go back around. Mind you, the area has one-way streets, so going back around is not as simple as they made it sound. I genuinely thought customers were supposed to come first, but apparently that's not the case here. The attitude we received was completely unnecessary and made an already inconvenient situation even worse. Wendy's, do better. Customers deserve basic respect and better service. read more

Place is a total mess. Drive through line is ridiculously long. Employees are so rude. Older man in front of me asked to read the items back to him and the worker said aggressively "it's on the screen" then said to the customer "I don't need the attitude" who says that to a customer??? When the customer asked for the employee's name, he proudly gave it to him with an attitude, which means nothing happens to rude employees who talk to customers like that. I went go the drive through tonight for dinner and I'm not impressed. First of all, they forgot the cookies which is fine, not a big deal. The problem really was that the food was cold and felt like it had been sitting out all afternoon and the burger was all lop sided and barely wrapped. They recently renovated the Wendy's on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley. I must say it looks great! The Manager there was very friendly and greater customers, he also was changing the soda machine. A Manager that works hard has staff that works hard, leads by example. Also the bathrooms where super clean. All in all it good for fast food. The building looks great. Showed up at 4:59 to pick up a Door Dash order and the manager rudely said that the dining room is technically closed and that I have to take the drive-through to pick up the door Dash order even though the door Dash order was sitting on the counter. Everything else is generally fine but more then half the time they forget the sour cream when I order a sour cream and baked potato.

If I could give them no stars I would ! I ordered $40. Worth of food and I got no sauce or ketchup for my fries. After the fact they asked me for what kind of sauce I wanted. Soda was only seltzer with a little bit of syrup. My tender chickens looked like a McDonald nuggets. I asked for no sauce on the chicken wrap. Guess what I got sauce on my wrap. They always forget my cheese sauce and when i confront them about it they tell me i have to pay for it and no matter how many times i tell them i already payed and they just forgot to put it in the bag, it never clicks!! They will sit there and argue with me for a good solid 5 mins saying i need to pay rather than take 30 seconds out of their day and look at my mobile order receipt. I use to work for Tom and Dave at riverhead Wendy's and def know that's not the type of customer service they would expect from ANY employee! So not only do you have to wait 20 mins being first online just to order when going inside BUT when asking for dip or dressings you get attitudes. This time coming through drive through I sat at the window for 6 MIN waiting to ask for my second drink that was never given.. and checking through my bags to see my dressings for my full salad, chili to second salad(taco salad) and my sauces that was asked of during ordering is not there? This Wendy's has a night updated layout with a diner kind of feel to it. There's a flat screen on the wall for entertainment and they have one of those new soda machines. It was pretty empty when I went for lunch. Ordering and getting the food did not take long at all but I witnessed them get someone's order wrong while I was there not once but twice. The same person, the same order lol. The food was okay as far as fast food goes and the tables were clean. Parking lot is very small. Not much more to say. read more

Nasty manager claimed my card would not work yet it works fine anywhere else. they got nasty when I asked for the card back and started calling me names. When I asked to speak to the manager he said I am the manager and you have to talk to me outside your not allowed inside. All because he was nasty to me and not competent to use a cash register.
