The owner was there, welcomed me and gave me stellar service! The menu was easy to read and even had a middle board that highlight favorite go tos I ordered the bacon cheeseburger basket which came with fries and a drink and the 3 birrira tacos for myself. Everything was cooked fresh to order. The ambience was pretty swell. I can see this place getting lively in the evenings and weekends. My only complaint was that I didn't find out about it sooner! Will come back if in the area.

Every time I've been I actually haven't been up to the bar area but you can see the steps so you know they're there. It's free parking because it's in Sandy springs so don't have to worry about trying to pay so that's good! I tried a couple of things but my most recent trip I went for the burger. You order at the counter and you can order anything there out of the all the restaurants they have. So you can order from any of five different spots and one register but I came specifically for Burger time. Birria burger - Now this burger was pretty good. It wasn't amazing but it was good. It needed an extra something. Typically. If you have this type of Taco you'll have something that you can dip the taco in, but the burger just came a little bit more dry and I feel like they could have had something extra to help it along. Queso fries - the fries were good. I feel like they kind of skimped a little bit on the queso, but other than that though they came out very crispy and the queso that was there was pretty flavorful. Onion rings - At this point I was just being a glutton LOL. Bunion rings were good and they had come back sauce and another sauce with them. I feel like they were kind of fried a little too hard though. But anybody could have an off day, not a big deal. You just don't want to cut your gums up like Captain crunch while you're trying to chew an onion ring LOL! Eventually I'll try the other couple of things. Like I haven't had the taco spot there yet, but it's on my list of things to do. It's a good duck off if you're in the area because there's a shopping area right across the street, so if you're in that Hood, I would definitely suggest giving it a checkout.

Definitely one of those hidden gems worth stopping for!

And the standards for this type of business concept are normally belooow the basement. But I figured we'd stop in while running errands in the area and grab something to munch on. I saw that they fry with tallow and I'm always on the hunt for some beef fat fried goodness. Now it's a rarity to spend less than $10 on a good burger these days in ATL, and even more of a rarity to feel that said burger was worth your coins. I side-eyed their $6 single but figured I'd give it a shot. Man, NFA proves that a burger doesn't have to be "gourmet" to still be damn good. The sauces, mustard, juices from the beef, slight sweetness from the potato roll, the crunch of the pickle... it all combines into something simplistic in nature yet magical. I usually expect this level of good (and inexpensive) in South GA but they brought that small town flair to the suburbs of Dunwoody. I hate crinkle fries normally but the decision to fry them in tallow makes me a believer. Simple, classic menu. No frills. Hot and fast. Great customer service, too. Just wait in your car and an amicable young adult (of which they seem to largely employ) will bring your order out to your car or to their picnic tables in the back. $17 for two to eat... in this day and age?!?! This place puts fast food burger chains to SHAME.

I almost passed on this spot because the menu uses AI generated food photos, which I personally do not care for. However, when I walked up, I was greeted and offered a sample. I declined and decided to give them a try anyway. I ordered the Shroominator, or something close to that, along with fries. My total came to around $22. The burger took a little while to prepare, but it was a decent size and the patty itself was well seasoned. It was definitely a messy burger, so I eventually grabbed a fork, removed some of the bread and extra toppings, and enjoyed it that way. The burger itself was a solid 8 out of 10. Now, the fries are an experience. They come in a tall cup with a very dramatic presentation and a generous portion. I chose the Cajun X seasoning, which ended up being a little too heavily seasoned for me. I probably ate about 15 fries before calling it quits, and there were easily several servings left. I also did not fully register that the fries were $8 when ordering, so keep that in mind. Overall, the burger was good, filling, and well seasoned. I would order it again, but next time I would probably skip the oversized fries or choose a lighter seasoning.
