I've had a pretty consistent experience at this location. For those not familiar with this chain, Five Guys offers burgers, shakes, fries, and hot dogs. Their fries have Cajun seasoning and are cooked in peanut oil. All orders are made to order. Toppings are mostly free, so you can load up your burgers however you want. There are boxes of free peanuts for you to scoop and take as well. I had both good dine-in and take-out experiences here. They don't add fries until you arrive so they won't be too soggy when you take your food to-go. Two cheeseburgers and one small order of fries will set you back close to $30. I find that a small order of fries is plenty to share between two people. read more

I don't think I have ever had a bad french fry from Five Guys....well not until my last visit to this Five Guys. The best word I would use to describe this location is inconsistent. I have been a couple of times now and they can never put it all together for an all around great experience. Although I may be in the minority, I personally believe that burgers deserve to be seasoned. The burgers I've had here have never been seasoned, so I'm assuming it is a franchise decision to keep it this way. However, I think without seasoning the burger lacks any sort of identity. When the fries are done right, it can carry the weight of an unseasoned burger. They're salty, crispy, it has the perfect bite to it. Plus, I've always loved the concept of the "paper bag fries", the extra fries in the bag. In fact, this place just takes a scoop of the fries and dumps them in the bag. I love it. During my last visit, the fries were disappointing. They were soft, oily and could've used another minute or two in the fryer. I never thought I'd ever stumble across a poorly executed Five Guys fry, but I guess there's a first for everything! My final question regarding Five Guys: when did they become so expensive? A burger and fries here will cost you close to $17.00 now. Given my recent experiences here, this just does not feel worth it. We decided to stop by Five Guys today to pick up lunch after we went grocery shopping next door at Trader Joe's. I hadn't been to a Five Guys in years, so I was interested in trying it again. The restaurant was pretty empty. It was clean and there was plenty of seating available. The staff member who took our order was helpful, and our order was accurately made. I ordered a small cheese burger and my husband ordered a double cheese burger. We were both happy with our burgers, and we shared an order of regular fries (which was plenty of food for us). We also ordered a milkshake with Oreo crème and Oreo cookies added, and it was SO GOOD. My favorite milkshake is the cookies and crème from Chick-fil-a, and this definitely brings some competition! Five Guys is definitely pricey for fast food (our total was $37), but the quality of our food and shake was great and we will definitely be back. read more

Five Guys is pretty much the same across the country I believe. The first time I had a cheeseburger I was in Seattle Wa. picking up a load of coffee and I haven't eaten a burger from this place until this day. I LOVE the French fries and how they give you extra (as they should for the price in my opinion) and I also feel like the meat should be seasoned. I don't know if it's just this location OR if it's just a Five Guys thing. All in all the food is still good and the service was great, I can't complain. The ambiance is what it should be for a burger joint, the parking at this location is a hit and miss. You may not be able to park right in front of that matters to you. read more

Five Guys is a solid 3 stars. Decent burgers with over sized portion of fries. The burger and fries are good but with no change for $20 with generous tip, it is pricey for fast food. Myself it was OK but a large family would be expensive. The nice thing is most extras on the burgers are free, so load up with the goodies (mine pictured with mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomato.) Ordering is simple at the register inside and you can watch them prepare your food. Staff was friendly and efficient. During COVID the indoor dining is closed, but they have several outdoor spots along the sidewalk of this giant strip mall location. Another COVID downer, no more peanuts! Several other dining options in this strip mall if others in your group want a different type of food. Busy parking area so be careful of the traffic. read more

I've been a big fan of Five Guys for a while now, with their fast, fresh service and throwback interior style. However, I have noticed that in the past couple of years their quality has diminished noticeably. The restaurant area is generally dirty/messy and the food is missing the initial oomph I felt when first trying. This location is convenient, off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs near the Trader Joe's, and for that reason I assume they are consistently busy, but I do hope they fix a few of their current problems and I would definitely be a lifetime customer. read more

For me this 5 star review all comes down to the burger and fries. Im.a big fan of thin burger pattys topped with american cheese which Five Guys nails. It used to be a great value but prices have edged higher and higher over the years and now fall in line with the norm. I think the burger quality is great and prefer it over any other fast casual options. That said this burger obviously isnt in the same league as H&F or Bocado burger so set expectations appropriately. Fries: handcut, great color and crunch. It looked like something I would have gotten from mcdonalds for $2, not a $9 burger. The bun had been completely flattened can pickles were clearly just thrown on folded in half. A step up from fast food chains. I don't eat beef a lot so I only find myself at 5 guys when I go along with other people. The burgers here are made to order and pretty good. The "Little Burger" is a normal size burger. If you're super hungry you can size-up. There are plenty of toppings to choose from to make it your own. They do not sell Turkey or Chicken burgers. I don't normally write reviews on fast food places, but hey there's always a first. I don't live OTP, but had to stop by this area to meet someone. I decided to pick up burgers for lunch since hubster's been craving them. I stopped by around 1230 and it as hopping. The parking kind of really sucks because it's so crowded. Five Guys shares a parking lot with what feels like 20 other establishments and one of those is a Trader Joe's. I had to drive around for a bit and parked at the end of a row. The inside of the restaurant is like any Five Guys, but it looks like it's actually decently clean. Loads of people waiting around for their food. I placed an order for a cheeseburger, little burger, and a regular fries. Ordering the food took no time at all. I waited maybe 10 minutes before my food was ready. Definitely not "fast" food, but at least I know it was made within the last few minutes vs. sitting under the heater for hours. The fries were still piping hot and I burned my tongue on them. The burgers were still warm by the time I made it home 30 minutes later. The burgers were alright and hit the spot. Sometimes you just want a greasy burger that gets the job done. read more

I'm from CA and I practically drool whenever IN-N-Out is mentioned. When I moved here, I asked what is around for the same type of burger meal. Five Guys kept coming up so I finally tried it after a hard gym sesh. LITTLE CHEESEBURGER Little?! Who said this is little? It's the size of a normal burger at a restaurant! The meat was ok, not too flavorful. The cheese and ketchup were fine...but nothing worth noting like the spread in the In-n-Out burger. It was very mediocre to me. Bun was also soggy so I should have ordered a protein burger to make it worthwhile. FRIES They are supposedly fresh and hand cut. For me, they were soggy and even though I didn't think they were bad...the 2nd day fries retoasted with my jalapeno ketchup dip at home was better. Overall...$12 for this?! In-n-out costs $6 for the same thing. Not the same guys. Not the same. PEANUTS Were the saving grace. They were very very good and salty. Ah, Five Guys, my standard for what a solid burger should be. If any high end or boutique places claim to have a "good" burger, they need to be better than this; otherwise I'm just gonna go to FG any day. This location is on Uber Eats, and ChasePay (occasionally does deals for a few bucks off), so you can order in advance or not even have the leave the house. But with a burger, I'd rather eat it freshly made. I will say that parking is frustrating at this shopping center, with narrow dual lanes and lots of blind spots. Just be careful backing out. I love the customizability of their menu. You can put any combo of things you want, including bunless or lettuce wrapped options. I don't love their bacon; the cheeseburger is enough on its own. Don't get the "little" versions if you're hungry. I think Five Guy's strength is the simple patty, cheese, and grease. Their bun is just OK, and which is why I think Shake Shack is a bit above them. You do get PLENTY of fries though, so don't order two unless you just want to be excessive. They're incredibly greasy too, often soaking through the brown paper bag. The staff is friendly and attentive. Inside is clean, and I rarely it see it packed to where seating is an issue. There's some seating outside too when the weather is nice. read more

They have peanuts in the shell to keep you munching while you wait - make sure to grab some. The burgers. Greasy, but not too much. The cheese is all melty and delicious and fills the crevices of the burger just so. You can get just about anything on the burger you like too - mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, even grilled onions and mushrooms. Bacon is always an option for extra. The hot dogs - yes, hot dogs. Delicious. But somehow I am always swayed when I walk in the door and change my mind when I smell the burgers and order them instead. The fries - they make killer fries. You can tell they are fresh (not frozen) as there are bags and bags of potatoes stacked around the restaurant as proof. They don't peel them (awesome) and the salt level is just perfect. Everything is cooked to order, nothing sits and waits. The staff is super friendly, attentive and they always get my order right. I love this joint. Now, as with INO, there is a "secret" menu. It is different (no Animal-style here). Here is what you can get, that you probably aren't aware of: 1) Cheese fries - they will cover those fries in melty cheese - yum 2) Veggie Hot Dogs, Veggie Burgers - Most Five Guys restaurants offer veggie burgers and veggie hot dogs - just ask your server what's available when you order. However, a Veggie burger is usually just all the fixings without the patty. 3) Grilled Cheese - another meatless option! They will let you add all the toppings on it - grilled mushrooms and onions are perfect. 4) Double-Double? Triple-Triple? They'll do it. 5) Well-done fries - triple fried. I've heard it ordered. I ordered a delivery of two sandwiches and a large fries. An hour and a half later a delivery person showed up with cold french fries. She informed me that she was tasked with delivering three different orders. I filled out a feedback form and received a call from a gentleman who identified himself as Peter, the General Manager over this restaurant. I told him that I had extensive training in Microbiology and that sending out an order with food open to anyone reaching in and touching it was an easy way to contaminate the food with salmonella, or any type of virus such as Covid 19 and be responsible for getting any number of people seriously ill. He was insistent that they had always packed food surrounded with french fries to keep it warm! NOTE: be careful making a complaint about anything. I have tried to place food delivery orders over the past few days and was stopped short with a notice that I was now prohibited from placing an order - no way to find how to get this removed! read more

I've been here a few times and I really enjoy 5 guys. I usually don't like burgers with double patties because it's too meaty but this is one place where I can do that without feeling overwhelmed. The fries are always so good! If you order a large fry, it's usually bug enough to feed multiple people. I'm greedy and I still can't make it through a large fry by myself. The fries are always flavorful and delicious. They always post where the potatoes for that day came from which is pretty cool you see. If you go in the store, they have peanuts for you to partake in but don't fill up on peanuts. There's plenty of burger and fries to work through. I don't come here that often but when ever I do, I'm not disappointed. The only thing I don't like about this location is the parking. Is it a total cop-out if I say that Five Guys serves some of the best burgers, in my opinion? Is that sacrilege? If so, I am sorry. But that is how I feel. I can't help it. Fries are good too, and I don't normally care for thicker-cut fries. You can just tell that their fries are fresh. They're not too salty. Their potatoes are good quality. And yes, the portions are huge. Keep in mind that the regular size portion of fries is a mid-size cup (maybe 16 oz.?) filled with fries, plus some extra fries dumped into the paper bag. The little portion of fries is probably in an 8 or 12 oz. cup, same deal with the extra fries dumped into the paper bag. I don't even want to know what a large portion looks like. Also, I read Lindy F.'s tip that you can order the fries well done! Definitely trying that. There is also a Coke Freestyle machine so you can wash down that burger and fries with a vanilla Barq's root beer, like I did :) Not every location has the Freestyle machine, however. The decor is pretty stark white with red checkered tile along the front of the counter. It's cute and kitschy, very reminiscent of a diner. My go-to: Little Cheeseburger, all the way. It's a tasty burger and it's messy, but it's always consistent no matter which location. This location on Roswell Rd has the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Duly-noted the next time I want a burger and some raspberry ginger ale. There's not much else to say except that they're always generous with the french fries and it's a good burger in a pinch. It won't make you feel healthier than let's say McDonald's or Burger King, but at least the meat wasn't frozen. Forget the fact that you're paying a little more. Life is short. read more
