Tried Super Chic because I heard it was supposed to be better than Chick-fil-A... and it did NOT disappoint. The Nashville hot sandwich was the star. It actually tasted like real Nashville hot -- not the watered-down, fake spicy version a lot of places do. The flavor had that perfect heat and seasoning balance. I was also obsessed with the sauce bar. They had around ten different sauces and every single one I tried was delicious. Such a fun touch and definitely sets them apart. The cheese fries were insanely good -- super cheesy and perfectly seasoned. And to top it all off, I ended with the Oreo custard which was amazing and tasted so fresh. In the Publix complex, what a wonder surprise to try this restaurant. Amazing varieties of sandwiches & salads. Loved the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, crispy avocado sandwich and southwest salad. Fries were super good !!!! Very nice and not-so-crowded place with a great service. There was a good variety of ice creams & shakes and were very tempting but we were nicely stuffed with our meals. First time here & it was pretty darn good! I got the fried avocado sandwich with fries but I think next time I will get the avocado salad! The flavor of everything was very delicious! They also have a wide variety of sauces that you can get on your own which was nice. The fries were super good too! A HUGE portion for the price! Okay so I'm actually getting used to these not sour B&B pickles that are here in Atlanta. I don't think they really serve a purpose when they're not really sweet or not really sour. The bun is actually potato bread which I loved. So the cafe was pretty much empty and quiet. I like trying new restaurants after the rush hour. So the young man behind the counter was named Dominic. So friendly, so helpful. I could barely get in the door before he was saying, "Hello how are you today?" I'm one of those weird people that will literally holla back, " I'm fine. Thank you so much."He broke down the menu to me and even gave me specific details about the different sauces. I was very happy that he did that because it gave me an informed choice of what I did not want. So my options were to go to the condiment bar and get little samples of different sauces which I did. So, I'm not the kind of person that eats dessert with my meal but he did give me a taste of the strawberry custard. It was yummy. I don't think I've ever eaten custard before. The only thing that weirded me out is that the packaging.The little freezer next to the cashier counter didn't have ingredient labeling on the individual Frozen Custard containers. Which would be helpful for those people who have allergies to certain things. I ordered the Rosemary fries and the deluxe chicken sandwich. It came to about $13 I believe. In a town full of chicken places, this is a good one. It was our first time in and we were impressed with the quality of food, ease of ordering, and the friendliness of the staff. We order a six piece and a side of fries with salt (the choices are salt, sweet, Cajun, or rosemary). The fries were abundant, not, and fresh. The chicken fingers were seasoned well and large in size. I have included a couple of post first bite photos- oops! The menu is all chicken with the exception of some avocado choices. I really appreciated the seasoning and the fact that there was a kick to it as well. It paired well with some of the sauces from the sauce bar. The fries were also well seasoned but did cool down quickly since it took us both a while to finish our sandwiches. We also split a vanilla frozen custard which was quite delicious as well. All of them were really good, but the Korean BBQ was hands-down my favorite and I highly recommend that you try it next time you're there! The custard was good as well. Super Chix is a new chicken sandwich spot, if you've never heard of it. I didn't until I saw it on Yelp. There are things I admire about Super Chix and some things I'm meh about. First off, the big question is: is the sandwich good? Like compared to a CFA as that seems like the standard. Answer: Not really? Super Chix stands out as far as their sauces. They have sauces for days. Not only that they have all types of sauces crazy amount of flavors. I think that's what they're banking on to stand apart from chicken sandwich spots. To me, I personally can't really justify what is served and what is paid. While Super Chix was good, it wasn't the best thing I've ever had. I would say it's a higher class CFA, with less of a flavored chicken sandwich. Their fries weren't bad though. They had a good amount of toppings and of course cheese sauce, but not like the cheese sauce you remember from school. It was a white cheese sauce, so take that as you will. It reminded me of like school cheese, but "elevated" because you know, it's white and not the yellow that looks like it was dyed and combined with a ton of chemicals. There's outdoor seating right next to the sort of park. Parking is a bit rough as it shares a parking lot with the Publix along with all the other shops. Indoor seating is also available. In pollen season, the outdoor seating is straight yellow so keep that in mind. Overall, would I come back? Probably not because there are sooo many other fried chicken sandwich spots to try. The fries here aren't bad, but I wouldn't miss it. If you want to try a new experience with fried chicken sandwich and CFA is boring, for sure put this place on your list to try. We also ordered the Loaded Fries to share: Seasoned Fries Topped With Queso Blanco, Bacon, and Green Onions. Two sodas rounded out our order. We waited maybe 5 minutes before our order was served at our table. I loved the Cordon Bleu sandwich! Thinly sliced melt-in-your-mouth ham was piled on top of the chicken, and there was also a generous amount of melted Swiss cheese on the chicken. The chicken filet was moist and larger than the bun. Because honey mustard sauce was already on the ham, I didn't add any other sauces. This sandwich was so delicious from the first bite to the last! R said that he definitely would order the Bavocado chicken sandwich again, maybe with grilled chicken in the future. I thought the loaded fries were good, but, to me, the Queso Blanco didn't provide much flavor, but seemed like it helped hold fries together when eating them with a fork. Employees came through periodically to ask if we were enjoying the food, and later took away our food trays and trash when they saw we were done eating. People in the south love their chicken and this is a contender. They were super packed when we got here on Saturday afternoon and I swear the line got longer as we dined in. It's counter service and I opted for the kids meal with grilled chicken sliders, mandarin oranges, peanut butter custard and comes with a drink. I end up getting a fried tender but was too hungry to care. I wasn't super hungry so the amount of food I got was perfect. The tender lacked flavor for me but it was juicy and crispy. They have tons of sauces to choose from as well (my fave being the signature sauce - tastes like CFA sauce). My sister got a slider, tenders and Cajun fries. Once ordered, they give you a number to drop off food at your table. We did wait for 15 mins before we got our food due to the busy lunch rush. They have a sizable outdoor seating area where we opted to sit since it was a beautiful day. One thing I should note about this place is their customer service. They also have non-chicken options like their Crispy Avocado which is breaded avocado as the "meat" on a bun. Their ingredients are good. Their bun are Potato Rolls, and their fries are hand cut. And if you order fries, they give you a ton. 2 people can share 1 order of fries. I like how they don't skimp out. They also do custard, which I haven't tasted. Their ambiance is your typical, trendy, modern, soul-less, shiny box restaurant that all new restaurants are doing these days. You wait in line, then order, then they give you your number to bring it out to you. The service is very friendly, almost Chick Fil A like (they don't say "my pleasure" when you thank them though). They seem to bring the similar formula to make it seem familiar to people. They also have outdoor seating at this location. Like I wrote, it's a 3.5 star place. It's not bad. This is the first time I have ever seen this restaurant chain. I drove here for a different restaurant and they were closed today (Sunday) so this was a last minute change of plans. The restaurant was busy, family oriented, and bright and clean. Food came out quickly and was nice and hot. One thing I should point out is that they do not have combos. Everything is ala carte. This meant that I only got a sandwich and a drink. The lack of fries turned out to be a good thing as the sandwich is large and full of flavor. The breading wasn't heavy and just right. Once I finished my tasty sandwich, I was happy that I didn't order fries as I would t have had enough room to finish them. If you haven't tried this place you should. I didn't have room for any custard (on of my favorite things) so I will try that on another visit. read more
