What just happened??!! There is no way I could NOT review this place. We did the drive through today and I have never had such AMAZING service and speed. I really hope that Yelp's algorithm doesn't remove this, either. We ordered for 4 people, nothing was standard as we have picky eaters - myself included. By the time we approached the window to pay we could see three people all working together to take our cash, hand us the order that was already collected, and fulfill our request for some ketchup packets. These people were amazing- I said it again. I was going to be worried that an order that quickly put together was bound to have something wrong with it. Absolutely nothing wrong. Food was fresh, kids were happy, parents were happy and all of 5 minutes from order to driving away. I don't think I've ever experienced this at a drive-thru. My wife said, "You need to review this one" - something she never says. I don't review mediocre or everyday experiences- but this wasn't your ordinary Wendy's fast food. So Wendy's corporate, if you are listening: This location is generating reputation that you guys can use. read more

I didn't realize how much this place had changed since I last came here. Gone are the quaint tables-- now they have booths and much different, more elaborate interior design. The fries are different now too. They are "natural style", and they appear to be made of real sliced potato instead of fried-up mashed potato (BK or McD style). They taste like the ones at In-n-Out Burger, and that's extra points in my book. Wendy's still has my favorite-tasting burgers too, and that's something good that hasn't changed. Tasty and surprisingly so. The burgers are not quite as salty as the ones you get in Millbrae, so go here. You'll enjoy it. read more

This review is for the drive thru and food overall. The drive thru set up is weird. The driveway to the drive thru window had 2 lanes but one only led to the drive thru window and the other to more parking spaces and to an exit that merges with the drive thru lane. It took me awhile to get my order through. The guy taking my order didn't seem to speak a lot of English clearly and when I ordered one thing he would pause for so long that I had to say "hello" 4 times before he answered. The pick up window is small and there were steps in front of my car like a wall. So pulling out of the pick out window had to make sure it was clear and no other cars were leaving the lot before I can pull out back into El Camino. The food is meh. My fries were stale but my sisters weren't... Weird, I guess I ended up with left over fries? I don't see myself returning to this location anytime soon. read more

Just went to Wendy's san bruno put my milkshake in a small coffee cup cause they didn't have containers for the shake. They said they couldn't put in a soda cup the right size for the shake. Maybe it's the management, or just really dedicated employees, but this is one of the best Wendy's I've been to in a very long time. First of all I should mention my last visit there was a Sunday evening so there were no other customers there so the place was very mellow. I've been there before when it's a bit busier and the courteous and professional staff seems to work well under pressure and move people through pretty quickly. This last visit I had my regular, a #2 combo, which is a double with cheese and fries. I had an iced-tea to drink which was very tasty. The french fries were perfect; recently cooked, crispy and slightly salted. The cheeseburger was nicely assembled and the vegetables appeared and tasted fresh. Can't say too much about the burgers but the salad is another issue. On September 12, 2019 I had their Southwest Avocado Salad and it made me throw up and get a rash on my arm. The rash extended from the left side of my chest to just above my elbow. I called to warn them about what happened and was offered a voucher for another salad. Wow!! So I explained again this time in Spanish. I was asked if I wanted my money back. So not the point!! I asked if they could check their salads for something abnormal because it would not be a good thing for someone else to experience what I had gone through. Looks like an employee has a little side scam going on here. During my visit on Feb 13 20 i ordered a two for 5$. Gave the cashier 20.50$ and received a nickel back for the 5.46$ price. While eagerly awaiting for the rest of my 15$ change, the cashier suddenly runs off to help another worker fill some fries on a drive through order. At this moment I observed my 15$ quickly disappear into his pocket! He is hoping i ll walk away thinking I already received my change. The staff were friendly, the chicken pretzel burger was acceptable, fast food will never get more than 3 stars unless it's exceptional, which I'm yet to come across - the atmosphere was lacking, it seems a bit sad in there, but the fries/chips are natural style with some skin left on and that makes them pretty darn tasty. I have been to Wendy's only once and I absolutely love the pretzel cheeseburger. It was filled with tomatoes and lettuce and the salty cheese stuffed in there was enough to make the taste extremely addictive. It was one of the best cheeseburgers that I have had. The pretzel bun that they use gives it an extra punch of freshness that makes it even better. I will definitely be heading back to Wendy's especially for their cheeseburger as the price is reasonable and the service here was alright. read more

Unsanitary- workers are touching your food without gloves on. They tried to give me a chicken nugget with a bite already taken out of it. Workers are extremely unhappy and rude and barely speak English. Due to this communication barrier or the cashier not paying much attention in between her eye rolling my order was completely wrong. I guess I'm the first to review this place since they remodeled? Its definitely more contemporary now with a large flat screen in the dining area and mostly tables with chairs (no traditional booths). I have to admit I was a bit surprised how small the menu is compared to say Jack In the Box or McDonald's although they do seem to offer a little of everything. I got the Southwest salad and was happy to see actual avocados along with the chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce and other veggies in it. The chicken was high quality grilled breast meat which was nice. I wasn't crazy about the southwest dressing (a bit too vinegary for my taste) but everything else was good. I'm old enough to remember when Wendys along with other FF places had real salad bars in the 80's so its nice to see they're making an effort to at least continue to offer somewhat healthier alternatives to traditional burgers. Wow - and they still offer baked potatoes! I didn't get one but maybe next time. Also the service was quick and efficient - I didn't have to wait more that about 3 minutes for my salad which was nice especially since there was a long line of drive-thru customers outside which can slow things down a bit. read more

I come here more often than I admit. I have always enjoyed their food, and the customer service has always been pretty good. They recently remodeled, and it's a nice space. Knock on wood, I haven't had issues or reactions from the food. But if you are in a rush or coming home from a late night, this place is open late. read more

I usually order from the value menu because the food at Wendy's isn't worth more than that. Today I saw their advertisement for the new maple chicken sandwich at the San Bruno location. It sounded really good so I ordered it. $5.99 for just the sandwich. When I opened the bag, I thought they gave me the wrong chicken sandwich because it looked so small. After unwrapping it, I was disappointed because it was the sandwich I ordered just way, way smaller than the advertisement. The worst thing of all is when I went to take a bite, the whole piece of chicken was one large piece of rubber that I couldn't even get my teeth in!!!
