Our party of 3 had a double cheeseburger with bacon, a cheeseburger with bacon, 2 burger patties, 2 large fries, 2 drinks, & 1 water. $54. Slightly pricer than based fast food. The service was poor. The cashier had trouble communicating. We said we'd be dining in, but everything was packed in bags. The steam made the fries soggy. I also had to clean my table. Just didn't see to be an attentive crew. The burgers also seemed steamed rather than fried. Not hot enough griddle? Vegetables were soggy. The fried onions were mushy. The burger fell apart in my hands. Ketchup is the only condiment. In contrast, the 5 Guys in Paris, France was way better quality & service. This local experience is why we avoid franchises. Too often the execution is substandard. Fast food is no longer cheap & should be made with care. I certainly won't be coming back. My friend and I were so happy to find the actual physical restaurant here in the same plaza where we came last summer for my birthday!! We were on our way to the Japanese tea garden, and then we decided to use her gift card and go to five guys. Sadly, Yelp had a pop-up spot that said there was a "restaurant "in an industrial area which it was actually just an Uber eats drop off area. Not an actual restaurant where they cook in front of you. Lol. We were so happy to find this actual restaurant. She was able to get her sandwich with her sautéed mushrooms and all the fixings!! I was able to get a coffee and Pastory across the street at Phill's coffee shop and I was thrilled as well!! This corner spot of five guys had a weird parking lot, so I wasn't too sure if I was supposed to park on the left or right hand side since it's on a corner and there's a light leading out of the plaza within 100 feet of the entrance. I parked halfway in between the coffee shop and five guys so it would be easier for us to get out. Overall, everything went well, and I was able to get a coffee a pastry from Phill's and my girl loved her burger!! I doordash but the bags are sealed so I know it's not the drivers fault, the last three times I've ordered from here at least one burger has been missing and this last time one burger was missing and a second burger had no burger patty and the topings were all wrong. This is a terrible Five Guys location, mostly because of the nonexistent service. Multiple times I've been here to pick up my order after ordering online/through the app, and they literally will not address you or make eye contact with you when you walk up to the pick up counter. It's like they have no interest in actually serving the food to customers. There are always tons of workers but none of them take ownership, so they are all just milling about not addressing customers and just chatting amongst themselves. That way the wait time is significantly shorter. If you decide to go in and order, than depending on the time of the day. Your wait time can be anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. Five guys is notorious, we known for their burgers, (where you have almost unlimited toppings to add to the burger). Just a tip from a five guys regular. Eat the food as quickly as you can or try to let the burger breathe. If you keep it wrapped up in the foil, it will get soggy, which is a huge flaw if you're not able to eat it within 5 to 10 minutes of getting your food. They have really delicious and thick milkshakes. Most popular flavors are: chocolate or vanilla. You can also order a hotdog, as well as an unlimited amount of peanuts. Those are just there for the taking. Now, there are variations of the menu which you can order. But the go too's are the burgers or the hotdogs. Now the burgers are pricier than normal. That's if you are comparing it to the traditional fast food chains. That's because with that higher price points, you also get fries and a drink. But for that same price, you're getting just the burger at Five Guys. However, it is much better quality than the fast food chains that are out here and significantly more filling, in my opinion. This location is settled on a corner spot with easy access to the restaurant itself that has ample share parking. Inside the restaurant , seating and lighting are ok and not overwhelming. The service is ok as well, and as l have always said, Any restaurant can only pace itself based upon how workers are on duty at the time, now having said this ; this location does just fine in the service category. The food is ok as well in comparison to the other restaurants that are in the same category. I mean what are we Really to expect from restaurants such as these, or we could just make them ourselves. I told my boyfriend's brother that I'd never been to Five Guys, and he said, "I don't even know how to respond to that." After trying it at this location I totally understand. First off, 6 p.m. on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. The cashier was super friendly. He accidentally misheard my order and put jalapeños instead of green peppers on my burger, but when I noticed it on the receipt and mentioned it, they fixed it right away with no hassle. Great customer service! I got the Little Bacon Cheeseburger, and my boyfriend got the regular size burger. I love that you can choose between the little and regular size depending on your appetite, and the amount of FREE toppings and sauces you can add is awesome and honestly kind of unheard of. The amount of fries they give you is absolutely absurd, in the best way. One order is more than enough to share. (And they actually taste like real potatoes instead of cardboard... cough cough non well done In N Out fries cough cough ) Bonus points for having malt vinegar for those of us who love it. The free peanuts are such a nice touch too. Pro tip: take them home and they pair surprisingly well with a dirty martini and blue cheese stuffed olives. The soda fountain is another huge win. I'm reviewing the cheeseburger. Specifically when purchased in BOGO promo via Uber Eats, which gets you 2 huge cheeseburgers for $16. Hopefully you're sharing with someone. Although it seems like a great deal, there are caveats. First, be sure you are in borderline starvation mode before attempting to eat this thing. Because it actually comes with 2 patties. TWO greasy patties. That makes it a DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER, which is not mentioned in the menu description. False advertising. Next, this MUST be eaten onsite. Do not attempt to take it to go, it will coagulate quickly and become a soggy mess as it's wrapped tightly in foil. They do use fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions which is good. However, the bun is not substantial enough to hold up to the moisture from the produce and the abundant grease from the melted cheese and two patties. So you have a very messy double cheeseburger on your hands, face, elbows, everywhere. If you're a clean freak like me, it leaves you anxious to head to the bathroom sink to wash up immediately.
