Peppermint Frosty
Chris W.

Stopped by to try the peppermint frosty. I wish it had more peppermint flavor because the taste was very mild compared to the vanilla it's mixed with. I feel like a next level move would have been to order a chocolate frostie as well and get them mixed! Will have to try it next time. Drive through service was decent. Nothing to complain about.

Watered down chili

Every item is stale or watered down. I got a cold brew too, it was basically water. This coke, not sweet and water. This Cinnabon stale and dry. The lady with the glasses is moody every time I come in. Extra butter or sour cream, they charge you. How about decent fast food? Only reason I go is my work is close by and there are zero local options. Even the chili is watered down! Good grief =(

Crispy Chicken BLT

For $6.60 You can't beat the Price & Value at Wendy's Saw a YouTube video ranking Wendy's as S Tier Fast Food and decided to get their $6 Big Value Meal Deal Got the Chicken BLT, with 4 chicken nuggets, fries and a soft drink! All this for under $7! Which is crazy value for a meal! Chicken BLT was 3 in quality but tasted okay. 3/5. Fries were surprisingly good! Better than McDonald fries! 4/5. Chicken Nuggets were 3.5/5. Peach Iced Tea was good! 5/5 For my 1st time at Wendy's I was pleasantly surprised by the value meals! They have one for $5 as well! So under $6 total! The modern red sleek interior felt more like SFO airport lounge with WiFi and outlets! Overall, this Wendy's Fast Food Restaurant is a 3.75/5! Still better than most Fast Food locations. Gotta come back next time to try their Baconator Burger to see how good it is compared to other fast food places. Service was standard as well.

Southwest Chicken Avocado Salad, 12 nuggets, all the dipping sauces
Julia C.

This was my first visit to Wendy's and I was actually blown away by the quality. I never would have expected something like this from a fast food restaurant. I ordered a Southwest Chicken Avocado Salad with Bacon. The greens were fresh. The bacon was crispy. The Avocado was generous. The chicken was tasty. Really do much better than I expected, especially for only $5.59 with a $2 off coupon I got in the mail. My only alterations would be 1) Ask for no cheese 2) The Southwest Ranch dressing wasn't my favorite, I tried the Caesar and it was pretty good, would also try other flavors. All their dressings are Marzetti Simply Dressed, so if you like one of their dressings, you can but it at the store. I also got 12 nuggets for $2.39 (with a BOGO coupon) and their nuggets are pretty good. I also tried all the sauce and my favorite was BBQ. Ranch was too sour, Sweet and Sour was too sweet, and honey mustard was too pungent / mustardy. They have some promotions going on. For example, a junior burger, four nuggets, fries and a drink for $4.

Pretzel Baconator Combo

Luz cashier has no customer service at all. ..she was very rude when I asked for my frosty.

Messed up order.

It was also slightly on the drier side, but the coleslaw served alongside helped balance things out nicely and added some freshness to the meal. The place has a casual setup with around 5-7 tables for dining in, though it seemed like most customers were picking up takeout orders. Overall, it's a convenient spot for a quick burger, especially if you're in the area and looking for something simple and satisfying.

I got a giants burger in a lettuce wrap, an order of the small mouth burger, kids sliders, and my husband got a big mouth burger. I also wanted to get a couple of cookies n cream milkshakes but sadly, they did not have that flavor, only vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana. We opted for a couple of vanilla/chocolate swirls instead. The milkshakes came out first - they were on the thicker side so we had to wait a bit for it to melt first, but otherwise were creamy, sweet, and delicious. The kids enjoyed their meals - the small mouth burger came with additional toppings like pickles and onions on the side. The sliders were plain. My giants burger came out initially with no onion rings but the staff proactively realized their mistake and brought this out to me on the side. However, they also forgot the BBQ sauce that was supposed to come with it, which would have been a nice touch. The patty was a bit on the salty side. All the meals had fries on the side, with the giants burger coming with garlic/parmesan fries.

It's a bit hidden, which fits the name, but is a low-key bar with a solid menu. We actually ate the sandwiches the next day on the airplane, and even then they held up really well. They definitely don't skimp on toppings, and everything tasted fresh. We tried Dutch crunch on both, one pastrami and one turkey, and I enjoyed both. When I looked at the online ordering, it said it would take about 20 minutes, and my hotel was about a 20 minute ride away, so that worked out perfectly. I ordered the Sheriff and some seasoned fries and got on the road. Both the burger and fries were hearty and hit the spot. Overall, this perfectly nails a 4-star experience. The burger wasn't some kind of next level amazing, but it was just a perfectly enjoyable way to end my 4 days in the Bay Area. Hidden Spot is essentially the kitchen portion of a dive bar. I sat at a table with only one other patron in the place around 11am on a Saturday morning. The other patron was enjoying the ability to be fully in charge of the digital juke box while I was enjoying stuffing my face.

This food truck serves burgers, tacos, and quesadillas, pretty much a microcosm of what people usually eat in the Bay Area -- and what is actually missing in Millbrae because of the concentration of Asian food. It's also quite a high tech food truck, where you order via a giant touch screen. The folks who work the truck are nice, the only downside is that you can't eat the food right there, so it's always a bit cold by the time I get home. The food usually hits the spot, so I can only imagine if I could have it fresh off the grill! The competition between food trucks is pretty high here, so I'm not surprised by the caliber of the food at this truck. It's just such a curious location.

Unfortunately and to my surprise, a person can mess up a burger. It was bland and the fries were trash. I ordered through DoorDash, and there was no option to add condiments for the fries and the instruction box was disabled. At least it was made and delivered quickly (not sure if that helps). Response to the owner: I ordered through my husband's name and out of respect for his privacy, I don't want to post it here. At the time I ordered, the feature to include condiments wasn't there. Regardless of that, the food wasn't good.

My son loves to get the 2 slider kids menu item and douse it in ketchup. The regular hamburger is pretty good but I still have yet to try the other burgers and chicken sandwiches. They look really good! The restaurant is unpretentious, spacious, and we didnt feel self conscious with having a very excited toddler yelling "choo-choo train!!" every time a train passed. We initially sat outside on their patio (which was quite nice) and moved inside as the night got colder. We ordered one classic burger with American cheese and one Outlaw. We also subbed our fries for parmesan garlic fries and tots. The burgers were really tasty; we especially enjoyed the classic burger. The tots were also great - crispy and perfectly fried. The parmesan garlic fries had good flavor but were too oily for our liking. For drinks, we got a blonde bombshell shake which was vanilla with strawberry drizzle around the glass. Service was very friendly and attentive, and their seating (both indoor and outdoor) is comfortable and spacious. As we ate our meal, we had a window view of the sunset. Our dinner came out to $70+ which was a bit steep but we enjoyed our experience.

We've been coming here since they opened, literally. We braved the rain storm to come by on Opening…read moreDay, since we had been looking forward to it coming when it was first announced. We were previously fans of Local Kitchens (LK) from trying other locations in the past. Over the years since they opened, the menu has changed a bit. There are still some of the original partners, but there has also been some turnover. Square Pie Guys and Boba Guys are two staples that are still available. This has become one of our favorite spots to get pizza in the area. The thick crispy crust is some of the best, and we like the wings too! Other newer options include a Sonoran-inspired menu from Chef Rick Martinez with dishes such as: Chips & Frijoles, a Jalapeño Ranch Wedge Salad, Carne Asada Taco, Chicken and Vegetable Adobada Tacos and Burritos, Rice Plates and Berry Dessert Nachos. The tacos are pretty tasty, and we recently tried the salad -- I have to say it was surprisingly spicy. This from people who order everything spicy, both the wifey and I made comments about the mouth tingles it gave us. The order comes with two pieces; make sure to eat them as soon as possible, as they will get wilted from all the dressing and sauces. There's a middle-eastern style menu from Israeli Chef Einat Admony with dishes like: Black Garlic Cauliflower, Homemade Hummus and falafel, and pita bread. They have a very tasty Amba Chicken that you can get in a Pita wrap, Rice Plate, or Hummus Plate. You can also get the aforementioned options with their Housemade Green Falafel. My wife is a huge fan of the yellow Amba Aioli, and we love to get the cauliflower dish with the black garlic sauce, even if we don't get anything else from that menu. If you're looking for a burger, look no further than their collab with Chef Alvin Cailan. On this menu, you can get the signature SOB Burger (regular, hot, or with bacon), a double ("The Overachieving SOB Burger"), fries, a Molasses Chocolate Chunk Cookie. We really like their burgers, and were even invited to the launch of this menu, where we got to meet Chef Alvin and watch a live demonstration of him making his famous SOB burger! While they no longer have Proposition Chicken by name, they do have a rebranded version featuring Chef Ari Feingold, who is the Executive Chef and Owner of Prop Chicken. The menu is a little different, featuring options like: Fried Chicken Tenders, The Fried (and spicy) Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Salads, and "Prop Spiced Fries". We are big fans of the Prop seasoning. It's really good on the fries, and I love ordering the chicken tenders since they use it on them, and the breading reminds me more of a fish & chip taste, which I love! Each of the places has their own selection of sauces that you can add to the dish, or order extras of on the side. Most of them are $1/each, aside from the Mike's Hot Honey ($1.50) and the Pecan Salsa Macha Norteña ($2). A moment of silence for some of the Opening Day options that are no longer available at the San Bruno location: The Melt, Sushirrito, Nopalito Taqueria, Humphry Slocombe, Milk Bar. The staff has always been very friendly when coming in, greeting us with a smile. The food tends to be ready on the early side of the estimate when placing orders on the LK app. There have been times (including our recent Super Bowl order) where items (mostly sauces) have been missing. We always make sure to do a quick check inside the dining room or in the car before taking off. This most recent time we were missing several sauces, but the guy at the counter was super accommodating and eventually got us everything we paid for. Thanks LK for always churning out reliable quality food -- we look forward to new menus dropping soon, and hopefully more fun launch parties! @bbnem.eats

I could tell the manager really cares about your experience! I bought a bunch of food and I can tell he was grateful just for that. The rest of the staff was just as nice. Everything was excellent, they have a huge selection of food and have taken partnerships with surround restaurants to create a phenomenal menu of options from many different cuisines. The restaurant is clean and cozy! They have sofa you can sit and eat/wait at, they tables that are both high and low tables taking everyone's experience in consideration.
