4/2/25 (528 / 550 location) I should've known something was up when there was no one in the drive-through lane and no one inside the restaurant. My order consisted of a burger, a spicy chicken sandwich, 6 piece nuggets, fries and a large chili. The entire order came out in less than 20 seconds. Red flag #2. The chicken was not spicy, flat, cold, and tasteless. The fries were not fresh. There was NO meat in the chili. The nuggets were cold and had a spongy consistency. Worst Management Ever - Avoid This Location This Wendy's is an absolute disaster because of the way it's managed. The general manager, Omar, is the definition of unprofessional and hypocritical. Good employees get fired for the most ridiculous reasons while the ones who kiss up get special treatment. It's pathetic. You can feel the toxic environment the second you walk in--staff look stressed, service is sloppy, and mistakes happen constantly because morale is at rock bottom. When leadership treats people like garbage, it shows in everything: cold food, wrong orders, and zero accountability. Omar cares more about power trips than running a decent restaurant. Horrible service. Employees with bad attitudes. I have tried to eat here 3 times in the last 6 months. They are always out of Frosties, fries, etc. Our first visit (because it is close to home) we ended up ordering our third choice for food and drinks from the menu because they were out of just about everything. The second time we ordered through the app while returning from a road trip. When we arrived to pick up our order... no Frosties, no fries, out of chicken. We cancelled the order and went next door to Whataburger. The next day we had to call India or Pakistan to get our refund because they had charged our card already. We received store credit. So third time with the store credit on 10/10/2024... no chocolate Frosties. Only chocolate pineapple Frosty which makes sense since it is disgusting. After eating, we both developed stomach problems. Hey there Department of Health! How about a health inspection on this location?? This Wendy's can "eff" all the way off. I won't eat there ever again. I've tried this place a couple times and literally no exaggerations here they always get my order wrong. Not only do they ask you what you've ordered about 80 times and make you repeat over and over and over but some of the employees act as if it's a bother to answer and take your money. There's this especially sarcastic and rude old guy with long hair and the rest are just young and probably paying more attention to their phone than the job. Oh also if you order a frosty during the day I hope your cars ac can keep it frozen because they like to give it to you as the first item and then make you wait ten minutes for the rest of your order..... I wanted a frosty. It's 1 pm. The lobby's closed so I head through the drive thru. Only two people working. That's the reason the lobby is closed. Instead of late night opening this Friday, it closes at 7 pm due to staffing. Next door there's a Whataburger. Full drive thru and 2/3 inside. A bus pulls into Wendy's parking lot from the Santa Fe school district. Since the lobby is closed, they go next door to Whataburger. Keep in mind I love Wendy's this is my go to fast food restaurant chain but I will never ever eat at this Wendy's location again I ordered a 4 for $4 they had me waiting for over 30 minutes in the drive thru and they forgot my burger. I told the employee at the window that my burger was missing from my order, the employee apologized and handed me my missing burger. No one even attempted to take my order, and no one was standing in the drive thru window when I pulled up. Drove out of my way to go to this location,, if you're getting paid to do your job you should probably do it. The staff is not friendly, they are not helpful, they didn't answer our question about military discount and the manager appeared to be similarly disinterested in us. They messed up the order, and realized it as they tried to hand us the try but instead of apologizing and explaining that they had to do more cooking, they simply pulled the tray back, leaving me standing there, not knowing what was going on. I figured it out because they stated yelling at each other about entering the order correctly into the computer and reading the order screen correctly. The manager was standing right there and did nothing to control the tif between the employees. When they finally handed me the tray, they didn't explain or apologize. On 8/25/2020 I went tot Wendy's in BERNALILLO, NM. After speaking in plain English to Jenny, she seemed to be distracted. I asked her if she understood my order and she came back with asking me questions totally out of line with my request. It's Wendy's. I've never had a bad experience here but my only complaint at this particular location is the drive through. It's a weird set up where you have to literally go around the building in a loop to just get to the line. If there is no line, then you can just pull through the drive through lane.
