It had been quite a while since we ate at Buffalo Wings and Rings. We had intended to go to another…read morerestaurant for spouse's birthday, but it was closed for maintenance. So we decided to go to Wings and Rings. Spouse had a free dessert in rewards, so it made the decision that much more appealing. We were quickly seated since it was mid afternoon and it wasn't busy. Was relatively quiet and made for a nice place to celebrate a birthday. Our server was quick to arrive and take drink orders. We also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Nachos. Not a fan of Buffalo sauce but we decided to give it a try. I will say I was impressed. The ranch helped cut the taste and it turned out quite tasty. It was only after it arrived that our server informed us that we could order it with any of their bbq sauces. Might give that a try next time. We ordered our entrees next. Spouse had the Korean Chicken Sandwich. The chicken is beer battered and comes with Korean sauce and Asian slaw. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger (formerly known as the Ringer Burger) which has smoked bacon, Sweet BBQ sauce, pickles, cheddar jack cheese and an onion ring on top of the burger. We both had potato wedges as our sides with some spicy bbq to dip the wedges in. Spouse absolutely loved the Korean Chicken Sandwich. I had a taste and it was really good. Would recommend it. The BBQ Bacon Burger was just as good as I remembered. Juicy, full of flavor and enormous. The wedges were perfect as well. We really enjoyed our visit there. Then... the birthday dessert came. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream covered with chocolate and caramel drizzle with whipped cream on the sides. I don't know how it's made... but... it tasted like a dry box mix cake that they tried to dress up with the ice cream and whipped cream. Wasn't remarkable. Not something that ruined the meal, per se. Just not something I would order again. Not a make or break thing. Al in all, we had a great experience and I look forward to going back!

It was a light and simple lunch, yet it was very tasty and perfect portion sizes for us. The…read moreBlueberry Chipotle BBQ sauce is DELICIOUS! My love enjoyed the Korean sauce on his. The broccoli was steamed perfectly too. Definitely would come again.

A second location with all the delicious menu items. The burgers are hot and delicious. Try getting…read morethem with tartar! The lemon crunch pie is most delicious. Convenient drive through makes it super easy to get a quick fix of Kewpee.

Let me start by saying this. I love kewpee, I grew up eating…read morekewpee, my love for it is undying and will never change. I love going for lunch because they are quick and efficient and I never have issues. Until you enter the night shift. It has been this way for years. You're driving along, hungry and fat as hell. Also broke as hell. You remember where you can get cheap, good food. You change directions and start the journey there. You take the curve and pull into the parking lot narrowly avoiding getting t boned by the Lima crackies all while having to dodge the homeless and craters in the lot. You see the drive thru is behind the building so you know it's a short line. Your first thought, this must be a quick wait right? Absolutely, undeniably INCORRECT. When I tell you to have your wills written out before this, I mean it. Give the house to Susie, the car to Jeremy, and if you don't know who to give your stuff too, don't worry, you'll have all the time ever given to you to debate on it. For the love, take your hungry ass to McDonald's at night. Every. Single. Time. I come here at night and it's like everybody working is high on God knows what and have just worked a 12 hour shift prior. Zero customer service. You pull up to the speaker that somehow witnessed the first and the Second World War and made it out on top and get your order taken. (No hate toward the speaker, just the voices behind it) By the time your order is taken you're already behind on getting ready for tomorrow morning. Might as well call off work. Here's the cherry on top. You finally reach the window after multiple blood clots have formed in your legs from the wait that are slowly making their way toward your brain. Boom. The worker opens the window. Stares at you for a good while before saying your total, sounding utterly unsure. You hand them your card. They take a good look at it like they have never seen such thing before as they slip their greasy arm back in the window. Now you wait, wait some more, wait, before the window opens and they hand you the receipt and card back. Window shuts again. When it opens, they are normally talking to themselves while handing you your food and drinks. DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT. Then you tell them thank you. Pro tip- do not speak a word. It's like if they interact with you in the slightest Momma Kewpee will come from the back and blow their dome smooth off. Finally, you pull away with your food wondering if you missed Christmas. You park. Hungry asf. Open the bag. Fried upside down. Burger slopped in there. No napkins. No salt packets for they plain ass fries. Pie. With no sign of a fork. To top it all off? All of it is cold. They must expect you to eat your pie like a slice of pizza. I've never seen anything like it. You're gonna sit there and wallow and remember all the good times you came here during the day. Perfect staff. Perfect experience, perfect food. Then you'll look back at your sad ass food and wish you were at McDonald's because at least your food would be hot. All in all. And take what I say heavily. Avoid the night shift unless you have nothing to live for and no family to make it home to.

The drive thru was atrocious today. It took 30 minutes to get through the drive thru (like another…read morereview, I was "trapped" on the inside lane). The order then got to us incorrect (1 burger and a medium drink). I'm giving them a star back for how well the inside front serviced handled it. He was prompt, nice and took care of the problem. Overall, the drive thru is normally better than this, it was just a bad day. Some other reviews mentioned other locations being better, while I disagree, I will say that majority of McDonalds tend to have issues with their double lanes and slow service.

Today we stopped off at the Portland Indiana McDonald's. After placing our order I noticed that…read morethey had brought all of our items and individual boxes approximately six of them. I had ordered three meals one meal had three eggs and a milk. The second meal had one egg a sausage and a hash brown. And the third meal was two scrambled eggs. The cost of the meal was nearly $21 the same meal that I paid approximately $15 for at the Albany Indiana McDonald's. When they brought the meal they had forgotten the hash brown. They said that they could not give us individual platters. I then went up to the counter and asked if I could speak with the manager. A rather disagreeable woman said what do you want in that tone of voice. I said I wanted three platters she said well that's not what you ordered the other day when you're in here. This I thought was rather interesting considering I had not been in that McDonald's for over a month. We normally order our meals at the Albany Indiana McDonald's. Which incidentally should be considered the flagship of McDonald's for this area. I told her I have no idea what you're talking about and that I had not made an order here and over 30 days and that we had always gone to the Albany location. She then took three platters and nearly through them at us and said there are your platters. I then informed her I really did not appreciate her throwing things at me. At that time I asked to speak with her supervisor a young lady come up to us at our table I informed her of how we were treated and that they had gotten the order completely messed up. I received approximately 8 or 9 eggs it's all scrambled when I only ordered six. I did not receive the hash brown which she brought to my table later on. I informed her of the young lady who said that she was the manager and how she had treated us and she said that is not the manager that she was. I then informed her that perhaps she should talk with her and ask her why she stated that she was a manager and why she treated customers the way that she did. I then asked for the owner's number of the franchise which she gave me. I'd like to say that the people at the counter taking the money and the people who brought us the food were very kind and very professional. Unlike the supposed manager who acted as if the world owed her something. One of our servers notice my United States Marine Corps retired hat that I wore and asked how long was I in. I told her 24 years. She sent me I shake your hand and thank you for your service. I said thank you very much for the kind words. She also noticed that I was handicapped. Just before leaving I went to the restroom and nearly fell down because the floors were wet and the signs were out but the floor seemed really greasy like. I did not fall and I was extremely careful. My wife and I both are 74 years old and we recently was in an auto accident which gave her four broken ribs and banged up quite a bit. I received a lacerated liver a broken left arm and broken left wrist and a broken leg. Also traumatic brain injury and a broken back. They almost had to amputate my leg but thank God and I mean that the nurse was able to save it. I spent 14 months in a convalescent facility and while there I suffered too heart attacks. When I had the accident and I was being taken to St Vincent's hospital and Carmel Indiana by helicopter the staff on the lifeline helicopter told my wife to say goodbye to me that I was not going to make it. They also told my wife to say goodbye to me after I was there at Carmel Indiana and they also told her to say goodbye to me when I had the two heart attacks. I contribute my recovery to four things. Number one God who is first in my life. Number two a loving wife which sometimes I don't deserve. Number three the United States Marine Corps and finally the love of family and friends. I was told I would never walk again that I would be a quadriplegic well I may not dance but I do walk without the Walker without a wheelchair without a cane. So the next time someone says thank you for your service or you hear that phrase being used remember one thing. We appreciate the words more than you'll ever know. My fellow Marines, Navy, Army and Air Force personnel deserve to hear those words. I'm sorry if I got off in a little bit of a tangent here but I felt that these words needed to be said. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me.
